"My family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didn’t just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with God’s will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending."

Great
MManmanlyThe hotel felt like a quiet, secluded haven. We booked a beach villa, and they even accommodated our request for a room with a great view. There were many sharks by the jetty, and we could snorkel right outside our room to see plenty of fish and small sharks. The hotel food was good, though a bit pricey. The room design was truly impressive, with front and back doors offering different views, and we even saw many playful monkeys. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless! It also came with a separate vanity table, which turned out to be perfect for our child's homework.
The only letdown was the spa. For a hotel that markets itself as a spa destination, the spa rooms were chilly and damp. The therapist was simply awful; she even stopped massaging me when I fell asleep??? I definitely do not recommend getting a spa treatment at this hotel.
AangelamayThe location is very convenient. The hotel is right in front of me when I disembark at Paya, the second ferry stop.
During my three-night stay, the room wasn't cleaned unless I informed the front desk in advance.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering local favorites like Nasi Lemak, Roti, and curry chicken, as well as Western bread, sausages, eggs prepared in various ways, fruit, rice and noodles, desserts, and coffee.
A special thank you to the front desk staff for helping me with my ferry ticket exchange. They went through the process of calling the bus company and downloading an app to help me find the ticket. Overall, they were very helpful!!! Thank you very much!
There's no snorkeling at Paya Beach, so you have to take a boat to snorkel or dive.
NNatGLDGood room, just average condition. Very quite in the nights, that's really needed on vacation. Actually you have everything you need. The personnel is very helpful and polite. Good and various breakfast. The place rather relaxing specially in the second part of the day when the water level is minimal.
