"Because my friend stayed at Holiday Inn, I booked two days at Hilton and transferred to Holiday Inn. My son's first year of school, the school booked the hotel as a dormitory. Because there was no kitchen, I suffered a lot in the first year of the epidemic. The double room is large, but the breakfast is worse than Hilton."

"Our overnight stay at the Marriott Courtyard,  Southpark Dr, Bkacksburg, VA was excellent.  Family was in town to visit Virginia Tech on an admissions visit. Room very clean, comfortable.  Hotel on quieter side of town with msny restaurants and a Krogers nearby - and very close to Main Street and the VT campus. What made the hotel so nice was the front desk folks, especially Mary and Larie.  Kind, engaging folks who answered many questions I had and gave great advice about the local area and how it and VT has changed, recommendations on nearby good coffee places, the policies of the hotel and even a Willy Wonka golden ticket discussion.  We talked VT football, my time attending VT in the 1980s, and our excitement about our cutrent visit.  These are truly two great members of the hotel team and both represent the Marriott brand well.  We have stayed multiple times here over the years and will continue to do so in the future!"
