"What a wonderful experience from the welcome when we first arrived. The guest house was just wonderful, bought me back to my childhood with the lounges and hallways decorated in an era gone by to the modern rooms totally renovated with comfortable and linens (including electric blankets). We were there for the Brigadoon weekend the guest house was decorated in the Scottish way, which was just lovely. The dinner on the Saturday night was fun and delicious. Piped in the haggis, which was tastefully prepared with mashed potato and swede Highly recommended"

"This was our first stay here and we were pleasantly surprised. We only needed a room for one night but would have happily stayed several nights. It’s a beautiful, historic building with full amenities and warm, eager to please staff. The grounds are beautifully kept and worth a little explore. we had dinner on site which was lovely, no complaints whatsoever! We would happily return."

"Overall, I had a positive experience and appreciated the facilities and convenience. The bar is a great bonus, especially with its opening hours until 2 am, and having security at the bar adds an extra level of reassurance. There are also several access options, which makes getting around more convenient. A few small improvements could make the stay even better. Some areas would benefit from renovation or refreshing, and providing cleaning services between days, where possible, would be appreciated. It would also be great to have an extra towel available for guests staying longer, without adding too much to the overall cost. With a little extra attention to these details, the experience could be even more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, there are some great advantages here, and I appreciate the effort put into providing a convenient stay."

"Absolutely terrible Bundanoon No pool yet yet we paid for accommodation with a pool and we’re not notified it was was filled in Grassed area overgrown Toys worn and old not safe for kids to play on Not 1 of the rooms was serviced Room 15 Broken shower head No shower pressure Dirty bedding Dirty floors Room 16 Dead roaches Dead moths * Dried out so had been there a while Dirty floors Dust/dirty skirting boards Dirty shower used soap still in bathroom Dirty bedding Room 9 Leaking shower causing water puddles on floor and in wardrobe Dirty floor Cracked sink Room3 Bathroom was filthy cracked sink stained toilet carpet stank"

Motel Melrose

"This is a fantastic motel. Yes… it could do with some fixing up some small details but I don’t think I’ve seen a cleaner motel/ hotel room anywhere (I’ve travelled a lot in my years). And my god it’s cheap ! If you just need a place to sleep in a great location then it’s perfect. Great hot water and water pressure. Comfy bed. And pet friendly! Will absolutely stay again."
