Links House ★★★★
"The service here is wonderfully warm and personalized, creating a truly welcoming experience. The overall atmosphere has a great vibe—calm, relaxing, and perfect for a quiet retreat. The only issue was a noticeable funky smell in the room. (Just in the suite we stayed) The team kindly provided room freshener, but it seems the odor may be coming from the ventilation system. It’s just a minor blemish on an otherwise great stay."
Bundanoon Hotel ★★★
"The room was great, and the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel might have been fully booked that day because my room was right by the railway tracks. I was woken up several times during the night by the noise. The town itself is worth visiting, with many small shops across the street. The breakfast was excellent, and the locals were incredibly friendly."
The Gibraltar ★★★★
"Very nice and quiet hotel The bathroom is huge and the bed is very comfortable"
Berida Hotel ★★★★
"Nice unique character. A bit dusty and small rooms but overall a good trip"
The Sebel Bowral Heritage Park ★★★★
"Clean-ish room. A bit dusty made me sneeze. No toothbrush set given"
Moss Vale Holiday Park ★★★★
Mittagong Holiday Park ★★★★
"We booked a standard patio 2 bed cabin as shown on the official website. When we arrived, the cabin was not at all as advertised - the layout, furnishings, structure, bathroom, everything was different! It was much older and not at all modernised. It is completely unfair and dishonest to advertise the standard patio 2 bed cabin using photos of an updated/modernised/different cabin, while giving guests an older, completely different style. Additionally, the website states that these cabins have an oven - again, false advertising for the cabin we were given. We went to reception as we must have been given a different room by accident. The receptionist tried to tell us that the cabins are exactly the same - she had a terrible attitude and the gaslighting was unbelievable! I was not paying for something that was blatantly different from what was advertised. We requested a refund and left immediately. The weekend away we had planned was cancelled (no other accom available over King's birthday weekend) and we drove back to Sydney - so thanks to the false advertising of this park, it also cost us money in fuel and tolls. Do NOT book a cabin here - it is not worth your time, money and effort. I have contacted Big4 directly to share my concerns as this is not at all appropriate."
Canyonleigh Retreat ★★★
"I had a fantastic stay at Canyonleigh Retreat. The room was exceptionally clean and the facilities were top notch. A huge thank you to the staff for their good services. There is a private forest walk which is really enjoyable."
Scribbly Farm Premium Dome Bush Retreat Southern Highlands ★★★
"This was an amazing place! Was nice, secluded and the fireplace had lots of stocked firewood!"

Bundanoon Country Inn Motel
"Paper thin walls and what seems to be a motel located on the train line. It’s 23:00 and two freight trains have just left the room vibrating. The aircon doesn’t work, tv reception is unwatchable and walks between rooms is two sheets of gyprock giving you way too much insight into your neighbours lives. Am booked in for two nights and will be leaving after the first."
Spacious, quiet, private loft studio 7 minutes walk to Exeter village centre
Osborn House
"The absolute perfect stay in the Southern Highlands! This very luxury boutique hotel is the perfect staycation to relax, we were welcomed by the amazing staff & a glass of rose. The grounds are amazing, well appointed rooms & the spa was excellent!!! We highly recommend this hotel & will definitely be back!"
Ardour Milton Park Bowral
"Recently visited Milton Park and stayed for one night last week, hotel is a bit run down but has some amazing qualities. Staff were very friendly including the receptionist, I think his name was either Kyle or Karl (apologies I can’t exactly remember), also the management were very present with the Hotel Manager Mohan who introduced himself and checked in through our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and high tea was exquisite! We will be back in Spring as we love the gardens and hopefully will return to a refurbishment. Excited to return!"
Oxley Motel
"Excellent experience."
The Bundanoon Guest House
"My husband and I had a very rare free weekend with just ourselves so we took a drive to Bundanoon and checked in at the Bundanoon Guest House. Highly recommend this place. Tim and Lucie are a very welcoming couple and everything is so nice and clean and well planned and thoughtout. The whole guesthouse is set out beautifully. Lovely rooms to sit in around the property and a very nice afternoon tea of scones is laid out. The included continental breakfast served in the dining room is also very good. The candles burning around the property are amazing and they are for sale. We topped off our stay with dinner at the Italian Restaurant 'Bottega B' just a 10 minute walk down the road. Amazing. Thanks Tim and Lucie, we'll be back with the family :)"

Berrima Bakehouse Motel
Motel Melrose
"Peeling paint, cracks in walls and ceilings, in need of painting. Dripping tap and loose wall tiles in the bathroom. One light switch was not securely secured to the wall and therefore dangerous. Venetian window covering did not provide acceptable privacy. The bed was comfortable."
The Vale Penrose
