One of the large resorts in the Karon area. About 5 mins walk to the beach. Multiple room types available here. I stayed in an ocean view room in the tower wing that’s 9 stories tall. My friends took family rooms in the 3 storey high buildings near the lagoon (kids) and big pool. Rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. Almost all rooms have a balcony. Bathrooms have a mix of shower stalls and bathtubs or both. The bunk beds in the family rooms are cool and can fit people 6th tall in their own private space. Rooms are clean with tile floors. Rooms have modern lighting and aircon controls via panels next to the door. Breakfast is quite amazing. Good selection of western and Asian food with lots of pastries too. Egg station gets busy. Food at the Escape Club restaurant is good too! The 3 swimming pools are amazing. The kids pool has slides and a spray splash area. The big pool is gorgeous. All pools have a swim up bar. Beer stars at 140 baht and cocktails at 260 baht. Staff are very polite and helpful. There are activities within the resort and even free drinks at the big pool at happy hour. There’s a games area with air hockey, table football and PS4 machines! Lots of food and massage options right outside the hotel which is a 1 min drive in from the main road. Recommend 99 baht cocktails, James Thai kitchen and Veena massage just outside the hotel. 5 mins away is Napoli in Vespa pizza. So good. The resort is large so maybe walking between place can be taxing. Also the low rise buildings may get insects from the surrounding greenery. There’s some construction going on too for villas to launch in 2026.

The hotel itself was fantastic, though it was a bit pricey. I forgot to include our children when booking, and we were subsequently charged an extra 300+ per day for them. This somewhat dampened the overall experience.

We have a long holiday with a very big room (2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and 1 big living room with a kitchen area) that is good and suitable for a family of 5 like us.
My children love the swimming pool, balcony, sports room and hotel cat. Good location, it is near the beach and food is within a short walking distance.

It is the first time for my children in Phuket. Everything is ok and safe for them. Good service, all reception staff are very friendly especially Khun Bou and a lady with long hair who has a beautiful smile and helped us a lot. We are happy to see the security at the entrance. They smiled and said ”Sawasdee karb” every time we passed by.

We like the sea views from both the bedrooms balcony and mountain view from the living room to have lunch and watch the sunset, no need to find any restaurant because we have everything from our rooms, just need to buy food from outside.

The few things that would be better if they can improve is the bathroom sink is too high for my little daughter, a lot of dried leaves in the pool and noises from the pubs which alerted us a few days but later we got used to it. 
But overall it is ok. Good  😊 😊 😊 😊 😊

The rooms are individual bungalows. If you book a sea view room, the ocean is right there as you open your door. (Though I had emailed well in advance to request a room with a good view, unfortunately, many trees still obstructed it.) I also observed that the sea views from rooms assigned to other guests, particularly Westerners, appeared to be better than those given to Chinese visitors.

The breakfast was quite a generic Western-style spread; after four days, I was completely fed up with it.

There were no convenience stores or supermarkets like 7-Eleven nearby, so food delivery was the only option.

On a positive note, the service was excellent. Even arriving at 1 AM, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful with the check-in process.

Spent 4D3N here. Location-wise, not directly in from of Kata beach but they conveniently provide shuttle service to the beach, just 5 mins away. Resort is right in the middle of the main kata street so easy access to the area. 711 available nearby. Room-wise, we relocated on the ground floor in front of the main pool area, direct access from our balcony. As Asian family, we were used to leaving our shoes at the door and bare foot in the room, however floor was dirty. Not used for us to walk around in the room with our shoes. Beds were soft to our delight. Breakfast was good. Didn’t really get to enjoy the pool as we were sick day before departure. Suspect the drinks from previous night dinner we had at one of the restaurant along the street. That just killed the entire mood and we couldn’t enjoy Centara fully.

Our family (two adults and a three-year-old child) stayed in a villa, and it was wonderful! It's immediately obvious they recently opened it; the room still smells clean and freshly furnished. Everything is beautiful and spacious, and it's convenient that the parents have their own room.
The service is excellent; all the staff are smiling and helpful. They cleaned the room several times a day and brought delicious complimentary gifts.
They offer à la carte breakfasts in the restaurant for villa residents only, but you can also use the entire hotel's facilities, including breakfasts in the main restaurant. We had the à la carte breakfast, and it was plenty. There's a choice of Thai dishes and standard fare like avocado toast, Benedict, pancakes, omelets, and granola. You can also choose small snacks from the buffet.
From 5:30 PM to 7 PM, villa guests are offered complimentary cocktails with delicious snacks. Unlimited coffee and tea are also available. There's a playroom for kids, a large pool with slides, watering cans, buckets, and a playground. My son was thrilled ☺️
Probably the only downside is that they take a 5,000 baht deposit upon check-in. (No one warned us about this, but that wasn't what bothered us. It was the fact that the deposit is refunded upon check-out. We had an early flight, so we simply wouldn't have had the opportunity to spend that much Thai baht, but they accommodated us and returned the deposit the night before.)
Karon Beach is a 10-minute walk away, and there are tons of shops nearby, a 7-11, cafes, massage parlors, and everything else. I didn't want to leave. You're great. I hope you maintain the level of service.

I stayed at this hotel from Saturday to Tuesday and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was excellent — very clean, comfortable, and with great amenities. Before arrival, the team helped me organize a Valentine’s surprise for my wife, and everything was perfectly prepared: a beautiful bouquet of red roses, chocolates, snacks, and a bottle of champagne waiting in the room. It made our stay feel very special from the first moment.

One evening we had dinner at Red Sky on the 55th floor, and the view alone is worth the visit. The food, prepared by Chef Luca, was outstanding — well presented and full of flavor. What impressed me most was the care and attention from the staff. Since my wife is pregnant, they made sure to check what she could eat and adjusted the menu to suit her needs. That level of thoughtfulness made a big difference.

Breakfast was another highlight. The bakery section is simply amazing, with fresh croissants and baked goods coming out continuously. The flavors honestly reminded me of Italy. A special thank you to Executive Pastry Chef Francesco, who was present, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. It was a pleasure to see that kind of dedication.

Overall, a beautiful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

This is my 5th stay here. Was supposed to be there last year but our flight had to turn around due to the earthquake.
So thankful to be able to be back here this year for my anniversary!

We landed around 8pm and ordered Grab food to be delivered to the hotel when we were on the way. Grateful that the bellmen helped to keep the food neatly before we even arrived. 
I've always felt so welcomed upon arrival at Centara Watergate. Be it at the driveway at L1, or lobby at L9. Staff are so helpful and always ready to assist guests.
Check-in was swift at 9+pm and our luggages were sent to the room shortly after we entered.
Was surprised that the room have been refurbished this time. It looks brighter, no more broken flooring, lesser moulding in the washroom, new sofa and chair too! 
Whenever we needed items like ice, cutleries and bowls, etc. they were sent over really swiftly!
Something which I think this hotel goes above and beyond: they send out a guest survey (email) when you check-in, and they actually read the feedback. They replied, and delivered an additional hairdryer to my room when I was out in the daytime after seeing my feedback. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it.

Great location and excellent service. Sraff could speak English. Hotel was next to Grand Central Ladprao mall which was easily accessible on the M level. Breakfast spread was good but most of the food was rather salty! The plus point was although no connecting door behind two rooms for family, there was a latchable external door outside two rooms.

For the location and price this is a pretty nice hotel. It’s not like the other Centara I stayed at. The rooms are “nice.”  Nothing to really get excited about but they are very nice. However, not sure if it’s because I booked on trip.com or if I completely missed something in the booking but my room’s one window to the outside faced a wall. I don’t mean there was a wall a few yards or meters away…I mean the balcony was completely against a wall. Absolutely ZERO sunlight. Perhaps that’s why the deal was so good. They do have rooms that look over the pool so it is an option. The breakfast was great. This is a very nice place to stay in the city center.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof.  Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly.  Parking guard Gf was the opposite.  Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off.  Upon our distressed   final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building.  Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

Centara is good hotel with good gym and good view from windows, room looks fine and wide. Hotel far away from beach side. Restaurant  is expensive, no choice for poor vegetarians… They provide shuttle  bus drop to the beach every hour, thanks.
We stay one week without hot water in shower, reception  know about this problem , but nobody help, doesn’t matter how many times I call.
Fist time in my life I stay in 4****star hotel without good cleaning service, lots of insects on walls,
blankets and pillows very dirty !!!
There is nice swimming pool and garden inside with lots of trees and flowers. 
In this hotel they respect animals much more than humans, so they proud to show on the board lots pictures  with cats and dogs. 
Nearby restaurant  1 vending machine swallow money, but give no snacks, hotel said they not responsible.
Service should be better, need to find a manager with modern education to run this beautiful hotel with prosperity. My opinion if hotel gets money from international clients is better to teach stuff how to communicate with customers on American/English way, perhaps is right way to run business. Stuff is tired and boring all day long.

Despite being very friendly and courteous, housekeeping is a letdown. There was a dead insect n the room for three days and It wasn't swept up. Toilet also had some filth that wasn't cleaned up over the last four days. This just showed that there was no sweeping or vacuuming done at this hotel. The toilet bowl and floor wasn't cleaned at all.
