The hotel location is really nice.. basically you have everything like 7 eleven, massage shop, restaurant,  night market .. all within walking distance. Stuff and services all are awesome. The hotel is kids friendly. Your kids can just stay inside for 3D2N not getting bored. Just one things we do not like, our rooms and the breakfast area have many mosquito.

It was a very pleasant time in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, the room was clean and there was everything we needed including mini-kitchen. The breakfast was good but I would add some hot porridge for children, there were only different kinds of muesli with the cold milk.

Let's start with the pros:
1.  Located in the Karon Beach area, the hotel has a relatively private beach. The beach is very clean and perfect for playing in the sand and water, suitable for both toddlers and older children.
2.  The hotel boasts several swimming pools of varying depths, making it ideal for families with kids.
3.  Overall, the hotel service is decent, with only a few exceptions.

However, there are also many cons:
1.  Aside from the one or two restaurants within the hotel, dining out in the central area requires a taxi ride starting from 200 Thai Baht, which means 100 RMB for a round trip. Walking takes over 15 minutes, and the steep slope leading to the hotel entrance is quite unsafe to walk on. Tuk-tuks don't feel very safe either.
2.  At 3500 THB per night for a twin room during Chinese New Year, the hotel feels quite run-down. While the hygiene is acceptable, the facilities are far behind what you'd find in high-end hotels or B&Bs in China. The toiletries are also very poor; you have to call to request toothpaste and toothbrushes. The bathtub was also very dirty.
3.  The breakfast isn't suited to Chinese tastes, and there are a lot of Indian tourists.
4.  The female duty manager at the front desk, Nicky, had a terrible attitude. She kept frowning every time I asked a question, as if I owed her money. She should be fired!
5.  They gave us the worst room, right on the edge (see pic P20). I don't know if it was discrimination or just a coincidence. I had specifically requested a room with a better view at the front desk, and clearly this room type is available in every building, yet they still gave me the worst one. It was during my complaint that Nicky started frowning impatiently.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright, and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view, large windows, and a balcony that made the stay even more special.

It was an excellent option for a family vacation because there was so much space — comfortable bedrooms, a big living area, and a dining space where we could relax together. The apartment had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay, and it truly felt cozy and welcoming.

The location was also a big plus, with the beach nearby and a very relaxing atmosphere around the property. Overall, we had a very positive experience and created wonderful memories here.

Thank you for your hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

This is hands down one of the best-located hotels in all of Phuket.

Perched at the northern end of Karon Beach, all the rooms are villas, spread out across the hillside, and each offers a full ocean view. The hotel has a private, easily accessible stone pathway leading directly to Karon Beach. It's not a difficult walk at all.

The restaurant, situated on a cliff, boasts a first-class view and impeccable service. It truly exemplifies that traditional Thai smiling service that makes you feel right at home. You can enjoy your meal while gazing at the sea – no need to chase after those trendy Instagrammable restaurants, this hotel fulfills all your dining expectations.

Of course, the villas with private pools are the absolute best. After a day of exploring and working up a sweat, you can return to your room, shed your clothes, and immediately jump into your own pool. The rooms are certainly spacious enough, the air conditioning is powerful, and with a private pool, private sun loungers, and a private courtyard, what more could you ask for?

The service is 10,000% top-notch; every single staff member is incredibly friendly. Upon check-in, all you need to do is download an app to call for any service with a single tap, from room service to arranging a taxi – it's all managed seamlessly. Finally, a huge thank you to the front desk staff for helping me recover my lost ID. My sincere gratitude goes out to all the hotel staff.

A new hotel that opened in 2025. We really like the cleanliness and services from this hotel. That’s totally perfect. My parents are celebrating their anniversary in Phuket so the hotel makes us the surprise. We really appreciate it ! And also the extra sofa bed with blanket and pillow is very nice ! Overall is perfect. Thanks Nont and Air the crew from this hotel but I’m not sure whether I sleep correct their name or not haha

Stayed at Centara Grand at CentralWorld recently and honestly this hotel is giving ”main character Bangkok vacation” energy from the moment you walk in 😭✨

First of all, the location is absolutely ridiculous. You are basically attached to CentralWorld, which means shopping, food, cafés, massages, and random impulse purchases are all dangerously within walking distance 😂 I genuinely lost track of time every day because everything was so convenient.

The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with huge windows overlooking the Bangkok skyline. At night, the city lights looked amazing and I may or may not have spent an embarrassing amount of time just staring out the window doing absolutely nothing 🌃

The breakfast spread was also seriously impressive. Plenty of local and international options, and somehow I always ended up eating more than planned 😭 The staff throughout the hotel were warm, professional, and incredibly efficient, making everything feel smooth and effortless.

The pool and facilities were also beautifully maintained, offering a nice escape from Bangkok's heat and crowds.

Honestly, Centara Grand is one of those hotels that gets the important things right — fantastic location, comfortable rooms, great food, and service that makes the whole trip feel easier. If convenience and comfort had a luxury cousin, this would probably be it.

I had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is fantastic—just about a 5-minute cab ride to Chatuchak, making it very convenient for exploring one of Bangkok’s most famous markets. There’s also a large Central shopping mall only a 5-minute walk away, which was perfect for dining, shopping, and relaxing.

What truly made my stay special was the exceptional service. The duty manager, Mr. Pitcha, was incredibly helpful and a true problem solver. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and made me feel completely at home.

Overall, it was a memorable experience. I only wish I could have stayed a few more days! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again.

Located next to Pratunam Market. The shopping mall is on the ground floor, but the reception is on the 9th floor, which is inconvenient. Taxis have to take a long detour to reach the hotel, and even local Grab drivers seemed hesitant when driving in. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but it does have a small pond and sun loungers for sunbathing. The hotel is a bit dated, and most guests are Indian. Breakfast is mediocre, with limited choices and food that isn't hot enough. Shockingly, the coffee machine doesn't offer espresso and isn't fresh ground. The drinks are quite bland, and some are downright unpalatable. The only positives were the excellent air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. Overall, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was decent. There was a very enthusiastic bellhop who also spoke Chinese. The air conditioning was extremely loud.

A small anecdote: We arranged a 1-hour late check-out with the front desk. The lady said it was all set, but when we went back to our room, the key card still wouldn't work. So we went back to the front desk again. They said it was definitely fixed this time, but it still didn't work. It was very hot, and we didn't want to keep going back and forth to the front desk, so we asked a housekeeping staff member to call the front desk. The front desk said they would handle it immediately. After waiting five minutes, the housekeeping staff member was also gone. We had no choice but to go back to the front desk. Just then, the bellhop walked by. We explained our predicament, and he resolved it in an instant.

Next time, for front desk staff who can't even get the key card timing right, they should be the ones to come to the guest's room to sort it out, instead of making guests run back and forth.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof.  Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly.  Parking guard Gf was the opposite.  Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off.  Upon our distressed   final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building.  Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

My daughter visited Centara Life Maris Pattaya this time and declared it “super fun!” 😍
What impressed her the most was the hotel’s water park, with its slides, fountains, and swimming pools, keeping her entertained in the water all day long without getting bored. 🌈💦

Another highlight for her was the 20 baht coin-operated games. 🎠💰

Overall, Centara Life Maris Pattaya is a great place for families and kids. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly, and there are endless activities to keep children entertained. If I get the chance, I will definitely bring my daughter back again. 💜

The location and activities around Pattaya convinced me to extend my original plans from a one week to a two week stay.  The hotel was clean, but older and I had a few issues with the room such as loss of power throughout the hotel a couple of times and the control unit on my A/C stopped working.  The staff were friendly and were quick to address the issue with the A/C unit.  The hotel is in a good location and close to the beach.

GREAT stay again @ my preffered hotel at Pattaya. 
Closed by Central Pattaya, Soi 6 , Beach-Road, Soi Bhuakao, even Walking Street within 20min walking distance. ENJOY it & PATTAYA 🤗
