Very Good
LLiWe were visiting relatives nearby and the hotel location is very convenient. There’s central mall and co-op supermarket just across the street. The room is very quiet and clean. Bed is comfortable. Shower is powerful. Breakfast is limited but enough for us.
QQiaowanzhaoponuThe room is a little small, but very clean, comfortable, and in a very good location. There is a large park opposite, and there is a pavilion with Chinese characteristics in the park🤭! Very good👍👍👍
GGuest UserI arrived in the morning and was able to drop off my luggage for free. I could check in a bit earlier than the official check-in time. It took only 15 minutes to walk to/from the airport. I had to check out well before breakfast time but thankfully they gave me grab-and-go breakfast (bagel and apple). My room was very quiet so I slept well.
ZZHIYONGHotel location is slightly biased, but you can also walk to commercial areas such as Midtown. The room is new, super large and the heating is super sufficient. The microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee machine are all available. The hygiene is also very good. Breakfast is the consistent standard of Holiday inn express. It is no problem to eat well, but it is the same thing to eat well. The breakfast in the restaurant can be packed and very user-friendly.
I talked with the front desk when I checked out. I was the only Chinese staying in the hotel in recent years.
GGuest Userwell me missed our conecting flight , bad news you have to repay for your tickets again ok i will just contact my hotel and tell them i will not make it in tonight . oh but you prepaid through trip.com , yes we have a policy that if your a no show we cancel your reservation . ok when do can we see our refund ?
you wont we will just rent out your room to someone else , i see so i have a 5 day room rental prepaid , yes you will not get anything back you have to deal with trip.com for your refund . oh so you did not get paid by them i see , no we did just your not getting a refund . can i trasfer my rooms as we are having a conference there for a few hundred people . no . we don't allow for that either . what ...... a scam ! no recourse , i gave them notice 12 hours before my check in . and was told to call back a number of times to speack to the manager .i contacted trip.com , and they also claim a garenty of refund but at the time i was to depart my room reservation changed to no refund be aware of this and maybe better don't use any online third party bookings agents as this is double dipping and should be a crime . we are out of pocket for both our air tickets and our hotel we paid in advance never again i will .
i have proof , so if they decide not to keep this up contact me . roland kier mizuik . very concerned , independant insurance broker . my company will be informed how i was treated .
GGuest UserHotel is nice, I would stay here again.
On the surface it looks very nice and modern and clean, but if you look closer you can see that the construction/upgrade work was cheap and not done properly. For example, the door in the bathroom looks very nice but if you look closer it is not flush with the wall, and the latch is actually sticking out very far from the frame in order for the door to line up with it because it is so crooked. Not a huge deal to me, but for the money I’d want it to be a bit more well done.
We did the “lil romance” package as well which was nice but not worth the money. We got a bottle of champagne, a cheesecake slice and some roses in the room, as well as a free breakfast from the restaurant which was all nice, but not for the price that it is. The food was ~20 each, and I could have brought a cheaper bottle of champagne myself which would have done the job just fine. Overall it was good, but I wouldn’t do it again.
GGuest UserNicely restored historic hotel, centrally located in downtown Saskatoon. Good value. Decent, though smallish room. Continental breakfast is kind of lacking. No broadcast tv, limited free streaming. Limited parking behind building. Pretty good English pub on ground floor.
YYONGQINGWestern-style breakfast, basically the same. No extra beds and free parking. When staying in Canada, except for Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, locations need to be considered. Other cities rarely need to consider location. Take Saskatoon as an example, passing through the city in ten minutes! !!
AAnonymous UserThe Friday night that we got there, the hot tub wasn't super hot, it was luke warm. Kids also brought garbage into the pool room and it was on the floor. Other than that the room we stayed in was good, except the doors were kinda tricky to close. The front staff fixed our key cards with no issues
CCindyWhen we here was a bit of a wait to get registered. The room was nice and very clean. It contained a fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. However, it did not contain a phone book. Free wifi was available for the guest. The room did not contain a bath mat the tub, although a fair size, was quite slippery. I slipped twice while trying to shower. They provided breakfast which had a wide variety of good food. The hotel is pet friendly, it is my suggestion if you dont like pets go elsewhere. It is pet friendly that should indicate something. It was a fantastic place to stay over all.
