Great
XXander7_9Had an amazing stay at The 8 Hotel Udon Thani! The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious with cozy beds, and everything was well-maintained.
The location is excellent — close to Central Plaza and many local eateries, making it very convenient to explore Udon Thani. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Great value for money and perfect for both short and long stays. Highly recommended! 😊
蘇蘇祺惠This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Head right out the main entrance and in just 10 seconds, you're in a shopping mall – super convenient! (There's even a massage place in the basement for $360/hour). The room is very modern, with charging ports right by the bed. The hot water in the bathroom comes on incredibly fast (that really surprised me!). They provide shampoo and shower gel, but the only downside is no toothbrushes. The location is truly amazing 🌟🌟🌟. Right next to the main entrance are McDonald's and KFC. 7-Eleven is a bit further, about a 10-minute walk. Inside the mall, there's an entire floor dedicated to cosmetic clinics (very affordable!). Across from the mall's main entrance, there's another small commercial area, and across from that, plenty of massage parlors – I even saw one for $200/hour! All in all, I'll definitely be back!
FFrank66Gem of a hotel in Udon Thani city based on a middle eastern theme. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable and everything exuded class.
Definitely one of the top hotels in Udon Thani. There is a small waterpark next door and it’s within short walking distance to the main lake.
락락쿤It's a bit far from the city center, making it difficult to get around without transportation. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was particularly good, but since there aren't many places to eat around the hotel, it's best to eat at the hotel even late at night. The fried rice was excellent. The only downside is that the bathroom and shower are very small.
AasuthVery good location!
Less than 10mins walk to the shopping centre (Central Udon), also less than 15mins walk to UD TOWN.
There's a laundry service (opens 24hr) available in less than 5mins walk from the hotel.
Requirement of 200THB cash for deposit, when checking in.
Stayed in a double bedroom - seemed a little old, but well maintained, cleaned, and most amenities are available in the room.
Swimming pool, small gym and a bar are located on rooftop floor (you'll get welcome drink voucher & breakfast vouchers when you first check in).
Basic breakfast : bread, butter, jam, rice, fried egg, omelette, salad, watermelon, pineapple, water and orange juice.
FFai_FayaThe room was excellent, truly exceeding expectations for the price. It was spacious, clean, and the water pressure was great. A big plus is the outdoor seating area where you can smoke. It's also super close to food options; just a short walk right outside the hotel. If you're visiting Udon Thani, I highly recommend this place. It offers the best value for money!
SSPOONMAN366Not sure what was up with the a/c but I had to phone reception each time I returned to my room to turn it back on
Maybe they save power im not sure
Was kind of annoying
Swimming pool was A POOL not a single banana lounge or staff in sight
cleaners were all over it came sprinting to my room with my laundry when she spotted me 'bless'
Requested a queen bed received two singles pushed together
Language barrier was difficult at front counter they had a good heart they just weren't fluent with any English nor can I speak thai so I guess it works both ways in a foreign country
Bathroom was nice enough drain was semi blocked with was a bit annoying
Would I stay again
-if I really had to i would the price was cheap enough but im sure there are better hotels in the area
TTokelauDreamingGood hotel with a nice pool, which sadly, I didn't get to use.
Nice rooms with good facilities. TV, multi-channel, fridge, desk. Big windows, lots of light with blackout curtains and a good view of the hotel front. Restaurants, street food and convenience stores nearby. Short walk to one of the big malls. Train Station walkable - WITHOUT luggage. Bus station is nearer. There's usually a tuk-tuk or two plying for trade outside the hotel.
Breakfast is OK. Not spectacular, but OK: fruit, toast, salad, eggs, coffee & tea.
All the staff were nice: reception, restaurant and cleaning. No complaints.
AAngkhampmsB2 is my absolute favorite! I always choose B2 whenever I travel. It offers great value for money, comfortable accommodations, and overall convenience. This was my first stay at this particular branch, and it was fantastic – it's newly opened, and I had such a good night's sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service, which I really appreciate. Plus, this branch is beautifully designed, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious.
DDirk HerrmannStayed many times but now it is slipping in cleaningness and it needs to renew its bedding and towels. Our towels, had on two days (of a 5 day stay) holes in them. The last bedding change also had a bed sheet with holes. Sad to see that things are slipping, because we liked comming to The Thanburi Hotel
