GGuest UserWe loved every moment of our stay at Changthai Comfort Guest House. I can’t recommend it enough. From a delicious breakfast and dinner overlooking the lake, to drinking Chang by the pool in the afternoon sun, my brothers and I were very well taken care of and the staff were so lovely. Escaping the city, you can really relax here, and town is just a taxi away.
The rooms are clean, large and overlook beautiful gardens and pool. We have family in Udon Thani so we will be back!! Thankyou for having us!!!!

RroroVery special and worth coming. But the weather is a bit cold. In addition, the tent had a burning smell for some reason, as if there was a motor problem with the exhaust fan. The waiters were great.

GGuest UserWhat a lovely friendly hotel to stay, clean, bright, beautiful inside and out. Lovely peaceful stay. Room was perfect and balcony with seating was very relaxing. Breakfast was very good with adequate choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Balcony overlooking pool which was so good. I wish I had spotted this hotel when I first arrived. Definitely value for money and probably the best hotel I have stayed in so far in Thailand.

Less than 10mins walk to the shopping centre (Central Udon), also less than 15mins walk to UD TOWN.
There's a laundry service (opens 24hr) available in less than 5mins walk from the hotel.
Requirement of 200THB cash for deposit, when checking in.
Stayed in a double bedroom - seemed a little old, but well maintained, cleaned, and most amenities are available in the room.
Swimming pool, small gym and a bar are located on rooftop floor (you'll get welcome drink voucher & breakfast vouchers when you first check in).
Basic breakfast : bread, butter, jam, rice, fried egg, omelette, salad, watermelon, pineapple, water and orange juice.

Swimming pool was A POOL not a single banana lounge or staff in sight
cleaners were all over it came sprinting to my room with my laundry when she spotted me 'bless'
Requested a queen bed received two singles pushed together
Language barrier was difficult at front counter they had a good heart they just weren't fluent with any English nor can I speak thai so I guess it works both ways in a foreign country
Bathroom was nice enough drain was semi blocked with was a bit annoying
Would I stay again
-if I really had to i would the price was cheap enough but im sure there are better hotels in the area

GGary EslerGood location, not far from Central Mall. Breakfast was nice. Our standard room double bed was very small, the pictures made it look bigger when I booked it. Aircon was very noisy, only stayed one night . Staff were good, pool was nice.
