The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both the subway and bus stops, and within walking distance to Anshun Bridge and the bar street. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, with guest rooms on the 13th-14th floors. The restaurant, front desk, and observation deck are all very well-designed. Breakfast offers a good variety and is nutritious enough. The hotel even thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and traditional Chinese medicine foot soaks, which was a nice touch, and the shower pressure was excellent. My stay at Mercure Chengdu Chunxi was absolutely fantastic! The concierge service was incredibly thoughtful and polite; they helped with my luggage and gave great recommendations for local attractions. It was such a nice touch. The ice cream at the lobby bar was deliciously creamy, and the afternoon tea was both elegant and tasty – perfect for a relaxing break after a long day of sightseeing. The 30th-floor restaurant offers an amazing breakfast spread with a huge variety of choices. The Sichuan-style dandan noodles and Zhong dumplings tasted authentic, and there were plenty of Western dishes, cereals, and desserts too. Dining with that high-altitude view was a wonderful experience. The laundry room attendant was also incredibly warm and helpful; she patiently showed me how to use the equipment and even folded my clothes before returning them, which was so kind. The overall environment is elegant and clean, and the service truly shines in the details. Plus, its location near Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road makes it super convenient for getting around and shopping. My stay was thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable – I highly recommend it!

had a wonderful stay at Lyn International Hotel Chengdu! The location is excellent—close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and many great restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. I also loved the complimentary afternoon tea and free laundry service, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chengdu. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!

one of the smoothest hotel experiences i've had in china; it's family-owned and the staff are warm and friendly! we received a room upgrade free of charge upon arrival an our room was clean, modern, spacious, and quiet. there's free coffee and mini snacks on the 4th floor, along with a self-serve free laundry (wash + dry combined) and microwave. the only downside is that the gym is +40rmb per person, but i found the facility to be run-down, dirty, and with some broken machines. overall a very positive experience. we rebooked sungold hotel again after we return from our trip to jiuzhaigou (九寨沟)!

Please excuse the messy room; after a five-day stay, it hadn't been cleaned. (It was my own laziness in not requesting cleaning, not the hotel's fault.) Pros: It's a 6-minute walk to Chunxi Road subway station, and across the overpass is the bustling outer edge of the Chunxi Road commercial area, offering plenty of shopping. Right downstairs is a local Hongqi chain convenience store, making shopping convenient and prices normal. Across from the hotel, there's a popular hotpot restaurant, a traditional breakfast shop, and a fruit stand—very convenient. Cons: The room was dim; the shower didn't work well, and the shower space was cramped. The cleanliness was just average, especially during the last two days when I woke up with itchy skin, and I'm not sure why. Overall: Very good value for money, and the front desk was responsive. I would recommend staying here. My suggestion is for them to be a bit more thorough with the cleaning.

Honestly, this has to be the best hotel in the 300-500 price range around here. The facilities are great, but the soundproofing isn't the best. I think it's due to the room design – there's no real barrier between the entrance and the bed, so you can hear any noise from outside. Also, the parking lot is awful – it's tiny and really difficult to maneuver in.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard 5/5! As a girl travelling solo for the first time, I felt very safe staying and had a lot of fun. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment was comfortable and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the international power outlets, which was a huge plus for me. The hostel also offers transportation services to certain attractions and activities, making it very convenient for travellers. The location is excellent — being right next to Chunxi Road meant I could easily explore the city, try local food, and enjoy the area on foot. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit. Their English was excellent as well, which made communication very easy. I would highly recommend this hostel to international travellers. If I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here again! ❤️✨

We travelled all over Chengdu and now for the last stop in the city area, we have chosen a apartment style because there is a washer/dryer within the room for our laundry! Of course, thats not the only pro about this place. Location is great being right in the centre of the city district, its really near to the metro which unfortunately we did not try as the taxi here is really really cheap! There is Takooli just across the road for your luxury needs and you can get really great shots with the modern vs ancient backdrop. You can also just book a Didi right in front of the building which is really convenient for us. Moving on to the room itself, the suite is spacious with a living room/mini kitchen/laundry and the bedroom with a attached toilet/shower room. Interior is really nice and the equipment like the coffee machine or the washer are of big brands. I see mixed reviews of the hot water shower running out before you are done. However, I did not encounter this problem and I do take longer than usual showers. In general, I find this a very pleasant stay and would definitely return if I am dropping by Chengdu again.
