The hotel's pickup driver left the best impression. He called us as soon as our plane landed to tell us the most convenient pick-up spot. He drove smoothly, was warm and polite, and answered all our questions knowledgeably throughout the journey, speaking about the scenery and local culture of Dali like an expert. He's definitely a plus for the hotel. The hotel itself is also good overall. The only downside was that some of the breakfast utensils weren't clean; the bowls and spoons had a fishy smell, which even made me abandon my good habit of not wasting food – I only had one bite of the delicious glutinous rice balls in fermented rice wine soup. However, when I brought it to the attention of the girl at the restaurant's front desk, she was very nice, apologized, and said they would address the issue seriously.

The room is big, the water is good, the breakfast is rich, the facilities are complete, the service is good, the location is remote, but quiet, suitable for self-driving tourists. The only drawback is that there is no refrigerator in the room. I upgraded the room on the first day of my stay in Dali and was very satisfied. After returning to Dali and staying in the ancient city for one night, I stayed in Yage for two consecutive days and also upgraded the room. At the same price, it is much better than many B&Bs.
