Atour Hotels in Dali City

Location is at the ancient street 三月街, periodically the traditional flea market since the ancient days still exists. The proximity to Dali Ancient City is just nice a walking distance and yet away from the massive crowd. This hotel is really classy and clean, the theme of the hotel really suits a solo getaway, and there are courtyard style rooms. Value for money despite there are Airbnb style lodging at lower price but the amenities and service is impeccable. Laundry service free and very well organized , all you need is to indicate how we want our clothes to be handled and we get our clothes in back in the morning.

I was heading to Shaxi the next day, so for easy bus access, I chose Atour, which is not far from the bus station. Bus route 5 takes you straight there. The front desk staff was very welcoming and gave me a complimentary room upgrade. The bedding was up to Atour's usual standard: very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast on weekends goes until 11 AM, which is a really nice touch. They offered Dali's specialty rice noodles (er si) and douhua (tofu pudding), where you could adjust the sweet and savory flavors yourself. There's a shopping mall downstairs, making dining very convenient. It's much better value for money than staying in the old town.

The room was clean, and the pillows sold in the lobby are incredibly comfortable. Overall, we had a very good stay.
