I recently stayed at the Atour Hotel (Dali Ancient City March Street), and it was easily one of the highlights of my trip. It’s the ideal ”sweet spot”—close enough to dive into the vibrant markets and historic streets in minutes, yet positioned perfectly to offer a quiet, restful retreat away from the main tourist noise. Impeccable Cleanliness & Design From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was struck by how well-maintained the property is. The rooms are spotless, featuring the minimalist, high-quality aesthetic Atour is known for. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail regarding hygiene and room maintenance was evident throughout my entire stay. Standout Service & Amenities The service here is truly what sets this hotel apart. The staff are proactive, warm, and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. A massive ”pro-tip” for fellow travelers: take advantage of their laundry service. Having access to free, high-quality washing and drying facilities is a game-changer when you’re on a multi-city itinerary. It was efficient, easy to use, and saved me so much hassle. Final Verdict Whether you’re in Dali for the history, the food, or just a relaxing break, this Atour location provides a high-end experience at an excellent value. I cannot recommend it enough and will certainly be staying here again on my next visit to Yunnan.

The front desk staff were warm and professional, completing check-in quickly and even proactively upgrading my room. The room design was modern, clean, and tidy, with comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent; I wasn't bothered by any street noise at all. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and the local specialties were very authentic. Most importantly, it offered great value for money. Next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The late-night porridge has a variety of varieties, sweet and salty, and you can choose according to your personal taste. On a cold night, a bowl of hot porridge warms the stomach and heart. The facilities in the room are also very complete. The air conditioning is also very powerful, the shower room is large and spacious, the design is reasonable, and the lighting and ventilation are very good. The hot water comes quickly, the water temperature is stable, and the water from the shower head is also very soft, which makes people wash very comfortably. The toiletries are all high-quality, pleasantly fragrant, and very safe to use. The whole stay experience is excellent, from service to facilities, from environment to details, it is impeccable. This stay made me feel the care and professionalism of this hotel. I really love this hotel! It’s located right in the city center. I booked several rooms, and we all received a free upgrade! The hotel is very close to several tourist spots in Dali, and the views are beautiful — I absolutely love it. The moment I walked into the lobby, I could tell the hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff don’t speak English, but they are very helpful.

This hotel, opening in 2025, boasts brand new facilities. The rooms are spotless, and the decor features Atour's signature warm, natural wood style. My room had a fantastic view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast is served on the 18th floor with a rich variety of options, including Western pastries and local Yunnan rice noodles. The best part is the dining view – enjoying breakfast while gazing at Erhai Lake in the morning light truly brightens your day.
