Atour Hotels in Dali City

I was heading to Shaxi the next day, so for easy bus access, I chose Atour, which is not far from the bus station. Bus route 5 takes you straight there. The front desk staff was very welcoming and gave me a complimentary room upgrade. The bedding was up to Atour's usual standard: very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast on weekends goes until 11 AM, which is a really nice touch. They offered Dali's specialty rice noodles (er si) and douhua (tofu pudding), where you could adjust the sweet and savory flavors yourself. There's a shopping mall downstairs, making dining very convenient. It's much better value for money than staying in the old town.

The hotel is located on Sanyue Street, very close to both the Ancient City and Cangshan Mountain. I specifically checked the reviews before booking. The hotel lobby is very clean with a seating area, and the aroma is a lovely lavender scent that I really like. The honey water served at check-in by the front desk was delicious, and check-in was very fast. During my stay, the response time was also very quick. The room was very clean, and the bathrobes and towels were individually wrapped, which made me feel very comfortable using them. The housekeeping staff even helped me with my laundry, so I had clean clothes to wear every day. The duty manager at the front desk, Zichun, provided excellent service; she patiently answered all my questions and recommended the Zhongheyuan Sauerkraut Beef Hotpot, which had very fresh beef and tasted great.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is easy to find, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and bright, with a cozy atmosphere, and the bedding was super comfortable. I really enjoyed the book bar in the common area — it had a great vibe. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. Overall, it was a relaxing and hassle-free experience. Definitely my top choice for travel, and I'll be back again!

This place absolutely deserves five stars; the location is truly unbeatable. Public transport and taxis are readily available right outside the door, and it's super close to all the major attractions and shopping areas – no long detours needed. There's a snack street just 800 meters from the hotel with tons of food stalls and small eateries. Even though it's so convenient, the room itself is surprisingly quiet. It offers both easy access to everything and a good night's sleep. If you're staying in this area, this is definitely the place to pick. I'll be back here next time!

Atour continues to be a reliable choice, with absolutely nothing falling short of expectations. The pillows and duvet were incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly until 8 AM the next day. The steamed dumplings for the late-night snack were delicious, and the congee was very comforting. While waiting for a car outside the hotel in a light rain, a front desk staff member thoughtfully came over to ask if I'd like to take one of the hotel's umbrellas. Great attention to detail!
