11363128****I made a last-minute decision to travel solo and hastily booked an Airbnb near the airport the night before. It ended up exceeding all my expectations!
First, the Airbnb offers airport pickup service, so I was able to get straight into the car upon landing and head directly to the accommodation. The room decor was cozy and charming, and having a bathtub really helped wash away the fatigue of the journey. The host was incredibly welcoming; when I overslept, they even made sure to call me down for breakfast. They also packed some delicious flower cookies for me to take on my way, setting a perfect mood for the first day of my trip!
The view from the rooftop is also fantastic!

GGuest UserMu Xi Villa is located on the eastern half-mountain of Erhai Lake, with rooms facing the lake, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. We ended up staying for five nights instead of our planned duration due to Typhoon No. 10. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated with good taste, and very clean. The staff are attentive and thoughtful.
Breakfast is provided in the morning, and you can enjoy it while looking at Erhai Lake, with a chubby, friendly cat keeping you company! Mu Xi is one of the reasons I miss Dali so much!

MM257049****This is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

LLixiaobaoI was initially concerned that the Xiaomei King Room, which lacked air conditioning, would be hot and small. However, it was nothing of the sort – it was absolutely stunning, and the service was impeccable! My elderly companion did mention that the noise from duvets being washed at night made it difficult for her to fall asleep. Despite this, overall, we were very pleased. I had planned to visit the wetland park for the sunset, but a staff member advised there was no need, as we could enjoy the view directly from their property! They even provided a complimentary farewell gift upon our departure!

Hotel beautifully landscaped, lots of greenery with outdoor seating to relax and listed to birds chirping.
Room was clean and well maintained. Snacks , drinks and fruits refilled daily. Only negative was the extra bed for my child. Very hard mattress and the frame squeaks and groans when someone moves on it. They should upgrade this.
Service was excellent . Six stars! Warm, friendly and thoughtful. Always with a smile and willing to help. We did a little laundry and was drying by the bathtub. Housekeeping noticed and brought in a clothes rack and hung the clothes in the courtyard so it dries better. Wonderful initiative! We did many food deliveries and they happily brought it to our room.
Manager was great also. Always checking if we were ok and ready to provide helpful tips.
Restaurant was good. Breakfast was limited but good quality and sufficient. Dinner was ok as well, local cuisine.
On our departure, they gave us fruits , snacks and water for our onward trip.

GGongbinietutuhaIt's been over half a month since my trip to Yunnan, and I still find myself looking back, especially at this B&B~~
**Environment:** I truly loved it. The courtyard on the first floor has a beautiful landscape, and through a door, there's a secret garden. On the third floor, there's a terrace where I enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning (though it wasn't perfectly aligned), which was very satisfying. The room interior was also lovely; I can't quite find the words to describe it, haha~
**Service:** The front desk lady and the auntie were incredibly warm and welcoming. They helped me with my luggage, and answered all my travel questions. They even added me on WeChat a few days in advance to create a service group. Afternoon tea and breakfast could be arranged to be delivered to the room. The best part was when I came back late after going out at night, they would have already turned on the electric blanket and lights. It was incredibly thoughtful~
This was the first B&B I stayed at in Dali, and it truly set a great tone for my Dali trip. The only downside might be that the surroundings are a bit less bustling, and there's a house under renovation nearby. Other than that, everything else was absolutely fantastic~

TTiansanshijiushiwoyaThis is my fifth time vacationing in Dali, and it's been a really busy year. Dali is such a relaxing city. I stayed at the Jupiter Castle Hotel once before, right after it opened, and it left a deep impression. So I returned to Wenbi Village. Compared to a few years ago, Wenbi Village's commercial offerings are much more developed, and this hotel's service is even more meticulous. The overall aesthetic is perfect for photos. My room booking included complimentary pick-up service from Dali Airport, taking me directly to the hotel. The butler kept in touch throughout my stay. That very evening, I saw a 'burning cloud' sunset, which hadn't appeared for many days. The next morning, I witnessed the rare sight of the sun illuminating Cangshan Mountain. Wenbi Village is situated at an elevation that offers a panoramic view of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, arguably one of the best locations. Although it's been open for three or four years, the hotel is very well-maintained. The mini-fridge was stocked with many complimentary items, including face masks, jellies, and drinks, all free to enjoy. The hygiene was impeccable, and the overall environment was fantastic. Just staying in the room, curled up on the sofa, with the warm sunlight streaming in and bathing me, instantly made all the stress and exhaustion from work disappear. Thank you, Dali, and thank you, Jupiter Castle, for making this trip so perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I get the chance!

MM2hahqqlv****A friend recommended this place, so I booked it without much thought. The result was unexpectedly good! This room with a terrace had fantastic natural light. Waking up in the morning, I just told 'Xiaodu' (the smart speaker) to open the curtains, and the sun shone directly onto the bed, making it feel as warm as spring. Then I told 'Xiaodu' to turn off the AC, and just soaked in the sunlight – it was incredibly relaxing. I took a closer look at the room; the design was simple yet elegant, and the facilities and cleanliness were top-notch. The bedding was so comfortable, I honestly wished I could have just stayed in bed all day… The guesthouse owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the young staff at the front desk provided super attentive service. If my itinerary hadn't already been set, I would have loved to stay another night. Looking forward to my next visit!

MM18005****Excellent! It's extremely close to Dali Station, making transfers incredibly convenient. The overall hygiene, quietness, and room size are all good. The tissues and other paper products provided are of high quality. The toilet and shower are separate (wet and dry areas), and the hooks in the shower room are definitely a highlight. The parking lot behind the hotel also looks very good, and the Ba族 (Bai ethnic group) friend's Baoshan beef hotpot restaurant nearby is delicious.
Has Dali gotten rich lately? The area around the station and the hotel is incredibly well-maintained. Walking along the tree-lined street next to the hotel feels like strolling through a high-end community. I hope Dali and Yunnan continue to flourish.
I arrived quite late and left quite early, so aside from taking a few photos of the beautiful, dreamy night view of Dali Station, I didn't get a chance to photograph the hotel itself. Still, a full five-star rating!

Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts.
Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along?
We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had.
The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word.
Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter.
Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.
