This suite is absolutely stunning! Waking up in the master bedroom, the first thing you see is Erhai Lake with so many little ducks swimming around. The second bedroom is also incredibly spacious, with two single tatami beds, perfect for a family trip. The entire hotel courtyard is beautifully decorated; any spot makes for a perfect photo opportunity. The location is excellent too, right in the ancient city. If you walk straight down the street, there are many beautiful cafes and restaurants, all very picturesque~ The owner booked a free travel photography experience for us. The photographer was fantastic, and we ended up buying a few extra photos, haha~ We returned late after exploring, and the owner thoughtfully left afternoon tea in our room, along with handmade cakes that were delicious 😋 Breakfast was also lovely; the rice noodles were tasty, and the fruits were super crisp and sweet. The staff were all very enthusiastic and friendly. It was a wonderful experience overall~

The location is wonderfully peaceful, offering the tranquility we were searching for. The scenic views are simply spectacular and were a highlight of our stay. I came to this hotel after hearing good things about it, and the fact that it's right on Erhai Lake is stunning. Even quick snaps with an iPhone camera turn out beautifully. It's a great choice if you want to feel the sea breeze up close and get some amazing photos. First impressions: A tuk-tuk (three-wheeled vehicle) picked us up, which was quite a surprise. Then, the winding, narrow, and complicated road to the hotel was an experience in itself. The butler provided excellent service throughout (except for forgetting our goodnight dessert). Next, the room. The overall decor is Wabi-sabi style. We stayed in an upgraded tatami twin room (kudos to the butler again), but the experience didn't quite meet expectations. Even though it was off-peak season, the room rate wasn't cheap. I'm not used to tatami beds (but we wanted separate beds for two people), and the courtyard view was actually quite bad, with noisy construction from a new building. I didn't dare open the curtains the whole time. There's also no laundry room like you'd find in a chain hotel. Initially, I planned to relax by the sea in Shuanglang for a few days, but after thinking it over, I decided to head to the ancient city the next day and chose the Hilton instead. I didn't opt for a guesthouse again for the rest of the trip.

This guesthouse offers incredible value for money. It's super close to Shuanglang Ancient Town, and the owner provides convenient shuttle service with their little tuk-tuk, making it easy to get around after exploring the town. The room decor is fantastic, the shower is comfortable, and the atmosphere is great. You get lovely distant views when you open the window, and it's very bright and feels brand new! The breakfast rice noodles were delicious! When I checked out, the owner even told me that taking the bus to Dali Ancient City was both convenient and cost-effective, which was really thoughtful. They also gave me a box of fresh flower cakes as a farewell gift, which were absolutely delicious! I'll definitely book here again next time!

The location is fantastic! The front desk staff are super nice, providing warm and attentive service – they're incredibly thoughtful! The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the lobby is spacious and bright. There's plenty of parking, and food options and a supermarket are right outside the door. Highly recommended! The sea view is also amazing, absolutely breathtaking! If I ever return to Dali, I will definitely stay here again! Everyone at the hotel made me feel right at home. The breakfast was clean and plentiful, making me want to stay longer!

Our stay in Shuanglang was simply divine, and this seaview room was absolutely legendary! From booking to check-out, the entire experience was incredibly pleasant. Before we even arrived, the butler contacted us to ask if we needed parking or any other services. First, let me rave about the sea view – it was absolutely breathtaking! The room's floor-to-ceiling windows and private balcony faced Erhai Lake directly, offering expansive views that stretched all the way to the silhouettes of Cangshan Mountain in the distance. Especially at sunset, the warm, orange light reflecting on the water, creating shimmering ripples, wasn't overly saturated; it was the natural glow of a true sunset. Every photo I took was a masterpiece, no filter needed. The facilities and amenities were incredibly comprehensive and high-quality. The room was spacious and well-laid-out, never feeling cramped. The bedding and towels were soft and gentle on the skin, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. Hot water supply was consistent with great water pressure, and even the hairdryer was high-powered, drying my hair quickly. The room also came equipped with a mini-fridge and tea set, perfect for a relaxing cup of tea while enjoying the sea view. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, with a minimalist yet luxurious design aesthetic. The public areas were tastefully decorated, whether it was the bookshelf area in the lobby or the lounge area in the courtyard – both perfect for quiet contemplation and escaping the city's hustle and bustle. The service was impeccable. The staff were gentle, responsive, and quickly resolved any issues we had. They even proactively helped us book local specialty experiences like cycling around the lake and Erhai boat tours, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was also incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Shuanglang. It's just a few minutes' walk to all sorts of shops and restaurants in the ancient town, yet it's set back enough to avoid the main street's noise. You get to enjoy the buzz while still having peace and quiet – definitely our top choice for accommodation in Shuanglang! A good hotel should always be comfortable and beautiful! We decided to upgrade our room type upon arrival, which was well worth the extra cost! However, this place truly offers excellent value for money!

Excellent service, with pick-up and drop-off provided. The landscape design is beautiful, and you can lie down in your room and enjoy the views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The breakfast is delicious, the mattress is comfortable, and it feels like a geomantic treasure spot, like a home away from home. You can even lie down in the room and sunbathe! ☀️

Worth the price of a sea view room stay. The breakfast was so good. Room was clean and comfortable. A lot of construction around the area, but it doesn’t affect us.

Staying at Three-Color Cloud River in the warm Dali sun felt like a gentle trap. Dali's spring always comes with a soft breeze, and this time, finding the 'Three-Color Cloud River Erhai Snow Store' along Erhai Lake truly embraced that romance. The white standalone villa stood bathed in the spring light, with large floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake like a painting. As I pushed open the door, the housekeeper was already smiling, taking my luggage, and even the air carried a sweet, warm scent. The room was unexpectedly soothing. The TOTO smart toilet showed meticulous attention to detail, the Dyson hairdryer blew away travel fatigue, and when the Marshall speaker played soft music, even the light and shadow softened. Standing by the sea-view bathtub, I looked up to see the sparkling Erhai Lake, and soaking in the hot water in the evening, time itself seemed to slow down. I woke up to the aroma of breakfast, freshly made congee paired with refreshing side dishes, and the housekeeper thoughtfully remembered I don't eat green onions. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a Chinese afternoon tea at the sea-view cafe, with exquisite desserts I almost couldn't bear to eat. In the evening, I went to the rooftop 'Sky Mirror' for photos, where a professional travel photographer captured moments of me with Erhai Lake in the background. Before bed, the housekeeper brought warm goodnight sweet soup, and the snacks in the mini-bar still had the crisp sound of being freshly opened. Upon checking out, I received a special souvenir, which turned out to be a small, heartfelt gift. It turns out that the good times in Dali aren't just about the wind and the sea, but also about a place like this, which hides the tenderness of spring in every single detail.

This guesthouse, located just outside Shuanglang Ancient Town, is very down-to-earth. Environment: Very friendly for self-drivers. There are parking spaces right opposite the guesthouse. The rooms offer a breathtaking view of Erhai Lake, which is incredibly refreshing. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it suitable for longer stays. Facilities: They provide disposable bath and face towels, as well as disposable bathtub covers. Very thoughtful! There's also fitness equipment on the first floor. Coffee and herbal tea are available for unlimited self-service. Cleanliness: Very clean. My only minor complaint is that the pillows are too soft. It wasn't cold at night even without turning on the air conditioning. I recommend staying on the third floor, just in case you end up like me, with kids running around and making noise upstairs late at night. Breakfast was delicious 😋 and the fruit was tasty too 😋
