The hotel is very close to the University of Edinburgh, just a 3-minute walk away. It's a 10-minute walk to Waverley Station if you don't have luggage and can use the main stairs, but if you have heavy bags, it's about a 20-minute walk over the bridge. Rooms are not available until after 3 PM. The room size is small, the bathroom is tiny, and the room cleanliness is average, with dirty floors. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast is served on the third floor, a standard English breakfast with decent quality dishes.

Great location 5 mins from train station, in the heart of the old town and is right next to Royal Mile. Albeit the rooms were basic but very clean shower it was nice and hot. I didn’t purchase breakfast or have breakfast at the property, but the service at the bar was great and available throughout the day and night. Highly recommend for a sleep over and a night out in Edinburgh’s old town.

Great location 5 mins from train station, in the heart of the old town and is right next to Royal Mile. Albeit the rooms were basic but very clean shower it was nice and hot. I didn’t purchase breakfast or have breakfast at the property, but the service at the bar was great and available throughout the day and night.
