The room was incredibly spacious, with a separate living room. I'd definitely want to stay here long-term if I visit Scotland again. The room was very quiet, and the living room sofa converts into a bed. All the appliances were high-end brands like Dyson and Smeg. The only downside was the lack of on-site parking. There's an NCP car park under the bridge a bit further down, costing around £25 per night. The hotel is very close to the castle, about a 5-minute walk, and about 10 minutes from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

YOTEL Edinburgh is a breath of fresh air in hotel stays! The sleek, modern design instantly makes you feel at home. I loved how compact yet comfortable my room was, especially the adjustable SmartBed that ensured a great night's sleep. The location couldn't be better just a short walk to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The vibe in the lobby is lively and inviting, perfect for meeting up with friends. Don’t miss the rooftop terrace bar for stunning views and delicious drinks. Overall, YOTEL offers a perfect blend of style, comfort, and convenience that makes my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

The hotel was immaculate the room was lovely everything great location near the town and train station hotel reception  were lovely really helpful i definitely do recommend thankyou so much many thanks

The room largely matched the description and offered good value for money overall. However, the fridge in our room was broken and wouldn't close properly. After speaking with the front desk, they fixed it while we were out on the second day. It worked for a few hours, but then stopped closing again, so we had to wedge a piece of paper in it. Also, the drain tends to clog easily, so if you're not careful, the bathroom can flood. The heating was good, it was clean and relatively quiet, and had well-equipped kitchen facilities. There's a supermarket within walking distance. There's also paid underground parking available (14 pounds/day). You need to check with the front desk first, then drive a few meters forward, press a button, and the front desk will open the gate for you to park. Edinburgh isn't very big, so if you're up for it, you can walk to the castle and the Old Town. Public transport nearby is also convenient.

This hotel is 100% the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and it is much more cost-effective than some hotels in London and Manchester. The room is clean and tidy, with complete supporting facilities, such as stereos, microwave ovens, refrigerators, tea sets and even dishwashers. In addition, I would like to thank the staff for upgrading the room type for me for free. Let's see how big the room is. It's almost a truck that can be parked! Friends believe me, it's right to choose this hotel.

everytg was amazing. we struggled to check in (after 5pm) and there was no staff. we reached abt 10pm at night and was left stranded at the door, no access code given at all to enter main gate … called and contacted property but no one picked up. if ur not going to have a 24/7 reception, at least make sure u hv someone tending to emergency help… after what was 30mins of waiting and calling did a guest walk down to open the door for us … horrible check in experience but everytg else was good

Absolutely amazing. We arrived very late due to heavy snow- they checked us in and organised an extra bed literally within 2 minutes of arriving. The service is efficient and rapid. The gentleman who looked after our room in house keeping was awesome, he helped us settle in and the little touches to make the kids feel special was duly noted. The manager down on the reception desk was excellent. Everything is managed very well, there is no waiting and the service is outstanding. The view at breakfast is amazing! Mountains in the distance covered in snow. Our stay was better than expected. Parking ✅ Swimming pool and sauna ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅ The hotel location is convenient and the restaurant space is open plan and cosy yet very busy. The hotel does need some updated but everything works well. The location is literally next to the zoo and the overflow car park 🅿️ is next to the hotel. The staff here are outstanding. High praise. This hotel is really convenient for transport. It's close to the airport, and right next to the train station, from which it's only a 12-minute direct ride to the city center. It's just as good as those hotels in the city that cost over a thousand [currency unit] a night! Plus, there's a super big supermarket next door, which is perfect for picking up souvenirs. Just a heads-up: the hotel's standard is to clean every three days, so if you prefer daily cleaning, remember to arrange it when you check in!

It's the perfect way to start the day if you want to enjoy a bit of sunshine. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go. The lounge area at the hotel is another highlight. It’s spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with blankets to keep guests comfortable if the temperature drops. It provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. The combination of comfort, thoughtful service, and a prime location makes it a top choice. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!
