The hotel is located not far from the throne of Arthur and is a historic manor. There is its own beautiful lawn and Scottish Highland cattle to take pictures. The decoration in the hotel is beautiful, very careful, and they are all historical relics. The fly in the ointment is that the room is small, but the bed is very comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also a well-rated English restaurant. You can try it.

The location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of the Royal Mile, with windows overlooking the church. A crucial tip for arrival: from the train station, definitely avoid the stairs and take the main road instead; it's about an 8-minute walk. The kitchen and washing machine are fully equipped, great for preparing your own tasty meals. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The only minor point was the slightly low shower pressure, but that's often to be expected in an older building.

This luxury hotel in Edinburgh is definitely worth experiencing. We stayed in a triple room for two nights. The hotel's interior design and decor are classic and elegant. The room was spacious with high-end amenities, and the bathroom and shower were very large. The room was exceptionally clean, and the hotel service was excellent. We also had dinner at Hawksmoor, the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, for two consecutive nights – their steak is absolutely top-notch.

This hotel is perfectly located with Edinburgh city centre. Easy access to all attractions by foot or public transport. Room offered a view of the castle and Usher Hall, not at all bothered by noise. Customer service was excellent, cleanliness of rooms and throughout exceptional and ambiance and decor throughout was outstanding. Food and dining set to high standards and excellent. Access to One Spa very convenient and pleasant throughout. Highly recommend.

Comfortable hotel bed. Premium room w kingsize bed and two armchairs. Mini fridge, complimentary water and tuck box in the room. Social hour 5-6pm every day with complimentary wine/beer/soft drink in the bar. Gym and small pool, sauna and steam room. 20 mins walk from Edinburgh Waverly station. Plenty to choose from at breakfast, non- dairy milk and gluten free options. Friendly staff and help with luggage. Would stay again.
