Holiday Inn Hotels in Foshan

There aren't many hotel options close to the city center in Shunde, just a Marriott and a Sheraton, but they've both been open for a long time and the reviews weren't great. So, I opted for this branded chain hotel which recently opened. **Facilities:** Even though it's a 4-star hotel, it has everything you could need, including an indoor swimming pool and a large car park. The room was spacious enough, and the all-day dining restaurant in the lobby on the ground floor offered a good variety of food. However, the lobby felt very empty and a bit desolate. **Hygiene:** Generally good. Both the public areas and rooms were decent, and cleaning was prompt. The outdoor area on the fourth floor had some issues; the smoking spot and seating were a bit dirty. **Environment:** Although the hotel isn't far from the city center, it's about 7 kilometers to the main attractions and food streets like Huagai Road, which can take 20 minutes with traffic. The surrounding area consists of residential neighborhoods and commercial facilities, so the environment is just average. **Service:** Quite poor, especially the lack of a doorman. No one helped with luggage at all; one security guard only registered license plates and did nothing else. The front desk staff were also quite indifferent, which is definitely a drawback.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Annie Zeng provided us with a professional and swift check-in. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The dinner buffet offered a rich variety of dishes, with fresh and clean ingredients, and excellent service!
