I stayed for three nights. On the first day, the bathroom light was broken, so I switched rooms. On the second day at noon, I received a call asking if I wanted to extend my stay. The front desk explained that they hadn't realized it was a three-night continuous stay when they issued the room key for the new room, and I needed to update the key card. That evening, the other key card couldn't access the elevator floor, so I went to the front desk again to update it. On the third evening, the key card couldn't even open the room door. The front desk said it had been demagnetized, so I updated the key card again. On the last day, only one guest's information could be accessed for breakfast, still due to the key card issue. The hotel facilities are quite old, and the restaurant tables wobble severely, leading to my coffee spilling when another guest accidentally bumped into the table. My experience at this Marriott was quite underwhelming.

The most delightful surprise of this stay was meeting Nina at the front desk. From the moment we walked into the lobby, her warm smile was like a ray of sunshine, instantly melting away our travel fatigue.
What truly set her apart was her proactive service mindset. Learning it was our first time in the city, she took the initiative to compile tips for local food and transportation. She quietly reminded us to take an umbrella before it rained, and when we returned late at night, her ”You've worked hard, get some good rest” made us feel incredibly reassured. These might seem like small details, but they truly showcased the professionalism and thoughtfulness of an outstanding front desk agent.
Excellent service is the warmest light on any journey. Thank you, Nina, for making this stay so exceptionally unique with your genuine smile and proactive care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my only choice!
