"This hotel has a fantastic central location, which is its biggest selling point. However, there are a few things to know before booking. the parking: while they offer underground parking for €5 a day, it’s not on-site. It’s quite a walk from the hotel, and there is no lift in the garage, only stairs. If you are traveling with heavy luggage, this is a real challenge, as you’ll have to carry your bags up and down those stairs.For a 4-star property, I was also surprised by the lack of concierge service and some dated room features. Our room was very dark due to poor lighting, and the safe wasn’t working. The door also requires an old-fashioned key to lock and unlock, which felt a bit inconvenient. On a positive note, we chose to sit outside for breakfast, and the outdoor setting was very pleasant and made for a nice start to the day."

The Grove Houses

"We loved our stay at Grove House, we stayed for a total of 4 nights: 3 nights in the Gardener House and 1 night in the Penha House in the suite, and each moment exceeded our expectations. We have enjoyed the common areas in the Gardener House, especially the perfect room with a flat for one of the rainest days of our visit. We feel really at home. We have prepared some fast foods and always found everything we needed. With regard to the room, we only have praises: the beds are incredibly comfortable. We sleep so well that we came to ask what was the brand of the beds! For the last night, we decided to experience the main house, the Penha House, and it was just wonderful. The suite is beautiful, decorated with very good taste (as all the accommodation), with a King Size bed as comfortable as well as a welcome room where we spent a cold and rainy afternoon in total comfort. Saras and Beatriz were incansable and made our experience even better. A simple “Thanks” is not enough to express how much we appreciated the care and how they really made us feel at home. From Beatriz's household cheese bread, Sara's handicrafted granules, mexed eggs made at the time with bacon, natural orange juice... all delicious. The variety of household products made every morning special and memorable. We also recommend a walk through the garden of the Groove House. The landscape is wonderful and made incredible photos with both the mobile and the drone."

"We had a fantastic experience in Santa Lucia Apartments in Guimarães, we stayed in a family (3 adults) and couldn't have chosen better. The apartment was perfectly clean, well equipped and very comfortable, creating a comfortable environment that made us feel really at home. The location is excellent: very close to the main attractions of the city, which was perfect for us, since we participated in the half-Marathon of Guimarãs. We also highlighted the attention and sympathy of the collaborator Carlos, always available and ready to help in everything.
