Very close to Qianxing Square, the guesthouse is in the style of an old house, very cozy. The flowers and plants in the courtyard and the balcony are beautifully decorated. I loved curling up on the sofa, relaxing and unwinding – it was so comfortable and pleasant. The owner was very kind and recommended more suitable itineraries based on my arrival time, and could also help arrange shared transportation. I originally booked a first-floor room, but because it was the off-season and I was the only guest, I was upgraded to the second floor. The small staircase had a retro feel. The owner even helped take photos upon arrival; their photography skills were excellent. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small (maybe it was related to the room type I booked), the mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom light was a bit dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Goodbye, Huangyao Ancient Town, a fleeting dream, goodbye~ Thank you for the encounter here.

The owner was friendly, the environment was clean, parking was free, and right down the street was a good place to shop. It was affordable and convenient. The people of Hezhou are warm and hospitable, which is nice. Huangyao Ancient Town itself is also nice, though a bit too commercialized.

Turns out it's a shop run by Communist Party members! 👍 It's really great. The owners and their family are friendly and welcoming; they even personally picked us up from the parking lot and helped with our luggage. The ambiance is rustic and elegant. The restaurant is right at the main entrance, and the food and portions are quite good, especially the roast chicken. The only downside is that the rooms are near the road and not very quiet, but there's a terrace where you can enjoy tea, read, relax, and admire the mountain views. The decor is also very warm and artistic. Before we left, they even gave us a local specialty: vermicelli—a truly heartwarming gesture.

This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.

This is the second time we chose Huangyao Ancient Town. This 51 event is particularly exciting. Fortunately, we chose Yijiangnan B&B. The location of this B&B is very good, parking is convenient, environmental facilities are better, my elderly family is arranged on the first floor, and the sanitation is very good. The service is warm and generous, we are very satisfied!

The inn is very new! Living very comfortable, just over 20 meters from the entrance of the scenic spot next to the ancient stage, there are three large leisure observation decks upstairs, the mountains around the ancient town can be seen, I live in this room, I can also see the mountain view on the bed. In the evening, I went out to the observation deck to drink and eat late at night, blowing the mountain breeze, very cool!

The B&B is located in Xianrenjing, one of the check-in points in Huangyao Ancient Town. The environment is comfortable and the owner of the hotel and other staff are very good at serving. On the first floor, you can drink coffee or drinks. Sitting by the window and watching the stream outside is very comfortable. The room was clean and hygienic, but some of the locations were dirty and should not have been cleaned for a while. The balcony is opposite the fairy well, and you can see locals washing clothes. It is also very comfortable to make tea on the balcony. But the balcony floor is low, I don't know how many times I hit my head. The homestay has a place to park, a Syrian-style parking lot, a slow charging pile, 1.2 yuan/degree all day. It takes about 5 minutes to walk into the homestay from the parking place. If I walk from the hotel to the road with many restaurants, I forget how to go. It takes a while, but it doesn't matter, but visit. In Huangyao Ancient Town, it is to enjoy a slow life and a quiet night, this homestay will definitely satisfy you.

I booked a single room and the room was spacious. All facilities including hairdryer, drinking water, TV air conditioning. The location is good. It takes a few minutes to walk to the south gate of the ancient town. I am afraid that I can't find it. The boss also specially asked me to take a picture of the hotel's door and phone. He also gave me a map of the ancient town very carefully. On the second day, I had to take a passing bus to Yangshuo. I was embarrassed to trouble the boss, but the boss still rode a battery car. Come over and tell me that I should wait in front. I am very, very touched. This hotel is indeed good and cheap, and it can be seen that the boss is very hard to do the hotel well. The hotel house is very new. Sleeping at night is very quiet. I am very touched, and my friends will recommend it to my friends in the future. I wish the boss a prosperous business.
