"I was initially worried that the service at a non-chain hotel like this wouldn't be up to par, but it was far better than I expected. First, the airport pickup service was amazing. I was stunned to see that the hotel staff, who had cars, spontaneously participated. They were all so friendly and treated the hotel like their own business. The owner must be a very nice person! :) Second, the hotel's amenities were impeccable. There's probably only one bowling alley in my hometown's provincial capital, and there's one here. The billiards room has tables for international masters and for designated tournaments for young and middle-aged players. The owner is truly nostalgic! :) The hotel is very close to the railway station, about a ten-minute drive from the city center. Fuding itself is small, so the distance is manageable, and parking is convenient outside the city center. Since I was traveling with a child, the front desk and floor staff were very accommodating. The waiters in the restaurant were also very accommodating, helping with things like carrying things. After 6:00 PM, there's a dessert treat. I tried the raspberry mousse, which they claim is homemade, and it was delicious. The breakfast, however, was average. If you were to rate it by five-star hotel standards, it's definitely not up to par. It was a perfect parent-child experience. I hope the tidal flat sightseeing trail opposite the hotel can be repaired next time I come."
