"I specifically chose this hotel for my visit to Mati Temple, and it's super convenient, about a 5-minute walk from the scenic area entrance. The room size was decent, not too big, not too small. I booked a mountain view room, but there was only a tiny glimpse of mountains from the window. Breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special. However, considering it's in a remote rural area and the price was affordable, it offered great value for money overall. Even during peak season in Zhangye, you'd only pay around 300-400 yuan. I'm quite satisfied with it."

"We were tourists from Jiuquan, on a self-driving trip. The owner was incredibly kind, and the hotel's location inside Mati Temple was excellent, with convenient parking. The young lady at the restaurant was also very nice; the dishes she recommended were delicious, served in large portions, and offered great value for money. It's especially suitable for older people and children! At night, you can even go to the mountaintop to stargaze. The owner is generous and such a good person; they patiently helped each of us adjust our phone settings, and the photos turned out amazing. We got to see all the grottoes early in the morning before it got crowded, which was very convenient! We Gansu people are warm and hospitable, so everyone is welcome to visit Gansu. You'll see unique scenery at Mati Temple, and both the front and back of the mountain are fun to explore. What a delightful weekend!"

"The room is very unique, the children love it very much, saying it is like a princess's castle. The terrace is very large. Sitting on the terrace at night, enjoying the breeze, listening to the water, watching the stars, and feeling the coolness of Sunan, is very comfortable. The largest prayer wheel is right next to the hotel. I highly recommend the Qilian Natural History Museum in Sunan."

"Everyone should come and stay here!
The owners are an angel. We arrived on Chinese New Year's Eve, and they cooked us New Year's Eve dinner. The next day, they provided an incredibly delicious breakfast, and they even gave us a discount on entrance fees to Mount Bals with our accommodation certificate.
When we went out to stargaze that night, the owners were waiting for us. The next day, they told us the best spot for sunrise.
What an amazing family!"

"Location: The homestay is near the ticket gate of the scenic spot, which is very convenient and sanitary: the homestay is clean and tidy, with electric blankets and separate bathrooms. The bedding and facilities are relatively new, but always a homestay in the scenic village, the conditions and sanitation are definitely better than many chain hotels, and the environment requirements are too high may be more disappointing. Service: Must be five stars. The proprietress of the hotel is very nice and very enthusiastic. Ask the boss to help buy tickets for the scenic spot. It is much cheaper and the car can enter the scenic spot. The car burst a tire on the halfway road. The proprietress was very enthusiastic to help us contact the recent road rescue in Minle Town. Thank you very much. The chain hotel has the standard of a chain hotel, but there is no such enthusiasm of a homestay. It depends on how you choose it."

"It’s getting cold, so we’re the only ones staying. It rained that day, so we didn’t go up the mountain. We went up the next day. The hotel is right opposite the visitor center, very close. There are plenty of parking spaces, just park in front of the house. Because of the off-season, the boss went to Qinghai. He was very enthusiastic during the phone call and even postponed check-out until we came down the mountain in the afternoon. The chef who was looking after the store was also very nice, enthusiastic and simple. He cooked all the remaining 5 eggs for us and washed our car. Ha ha. It was quite cold when I first entered the room, but the heater was powerful enough that I didn't cover myself with the quilt all night. The room is great, very clean, and the environment is so fresh. But the conditions in the mountains are not as good as outside, so just don’t be too picky. Overall good review."
