It was indeed newly renovated and had a slight smell, but it didn't affect our stay. The young lady who showed us the room even offered us water and introduced us to places to visit in Xifeng, including hot springs, and offered to take us there. Wow, I was almost embarrassed by her kindness! Overall, it was a great experience and made me feel very proud."
