"The room amenities are quite basic. There's a wooden hook on the wall as you enter, but no regular coat rack in an entryway. The shower pressure isn't strong. When you go out to the balcony to enjoy the view, it's best to close the door because there are lots of bugs and birds (crows) that will fly in. Definitely bring enough clothes and don't plan on doing laundry. I rinsed my swimsuit and hung it on the balcony to dry. In just a short while, a crow flew by and pooped on the balcony chair and my swimsuit. I wasn't sure if bird droppings carry diseases, so I had to throw it away. You can tell the ecosystem is really thriving! After dinner, when I'd walk around the hotel grounds, I'd always get bitten by bugs – it felt very much like being in the countryside. There are no convenience stores nearby, and it's best not to go out after 6 or 7 PM; it gets too dark, and the cawing of the crows makes it quite eerie. It's best to eat all three meals at the hotel. There's very little storage space in the room! It's suitable for solo travelers or for an occasional one-night stay. Important note: During my stay this time (July), the bathroom constantly felt like it was swaying, like being on a boat. I wonder if it was an earthquake! All the facilities like the pool, table tennis, and various other entertainment options are chargeable, so you can decide based on your needs. There's a hot spring nearby, but the shower only dispenses water for a short while after you press the button. So, when you're showering, you have to hold the showerhead with one hand and keep pressing the button with the other. Talk about saving water! This is something they could really learn from Japan! As soon as you enter the hotel, from the lobby to the room, you'll notice that musty, decades-old hotel smell. If you like vintage scents, you might enjoy it."

"The hotel is quite a distance from everywhere but we drove so that wasnt a problem. There is free parking around the place too. However, the service was very bad. The place was unmanned by staffs. Happened to saw a staff/cleaner and he told me that we could only check in after 2.30pm. So we waited till then. We had problems check in too as there was supposingly a link sent for us to check in but we didnt recieve it. So we waiting Had to contact trip service line. Luckily the service line was quality and didnt left me stranded. Overall, a nice hotel to stay at with bad customer servicezx"

You can carefully watch the green plants and stone statues and enjoy a quiet time. Breakfast and dinner Ryukyu style Japanese cuisine, compared with many seaside hot springs that win with seafood quality, I feel the quality is average, and when the grilled beef is served, the whole restaurant will have a bad smell, like the beef has gone bad, after a while the meat is cold and the smell is gone, the meat tastes tender, the overall seasoning is also average, but the Japanese tourists next to it all praised it for being delicious. The shortcomings of the hotel: the amenities such as tea bags, minibars, drinks, slippers, and toothbrushes are very average. The quality of the toothbrush and slippers is not as good as the one I brought from Hongqiao Guest House. The hotel can book a taxi to drop off guests, but I ended up booking a very poor model for me, which was very disappointing. The car was very small and old. It took me almost an hour from the hotel to the American Village, and it was very uncomfortable to sit there. It is better to book it yourself on the international version of Didi. The car is very poor but the driver is skilled and fast. It costs 8,000 yen to the American Village. In summary, Baimei Galan has excellent hotel facilities. Although there is still a lot of room for improvement in service and cuisine, it is worth staying."
