"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and came with a lovely balcony, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s Thai ancient-style decoration added a unique charm and really complemented the historical atmosphere of the area. Its location was excellent, just a short distance from the Historical Park, making it very convenient for exploring.
What stood out the most was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, and attentive. Knowing how hot the weather was (nearly 40°C outside), they kindly turned on the air conditioning before our arrival, so the room was already cool and refreshing when we checked in. It was a small gesture that made a big difference and showed their attention to detail.
Breakfast was also very enjoyable, with a good selection of tasty options to start the day. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return."

"I had a fantastic stay at Sriwilai Sukhothai with my friend. The service was excellent, the location convenient, and the rooms were lovely. "I loved this hotel. Owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is fabulous- close to historical park and night market/Main Street, but far enough away that it’s very quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent, many different dishes that changed each day. Free coffee, tea, water, fruit available at all times. And free use of bicycles to explore the historical park. Bed is a bit hard, and it would have been nice to have screens on balcony window so I could sleep with the windows open instead of using A/C, but otherwise this place is excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is located about 2km from the Old Town. Our room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was decent. The only major downside was that we frequently found termites in the room at night. The hotel provides bicycles, which were quite handy for getting to the Old Town. However, a word of caution: make sure you're back at the hotel before dark, as the roads around the hotel have no streetlights, and it can be quite dangerous navigating in the pitch black."

"We enjoyed our breakfast.didnt have time to try spa. Price is 800TH. Per hour for thai massage. Quite expensive compare to other hotels.
There is starbucks at Lobby with 30% off on all menus but we didnt try.
The complimentary drinks and snacks in in room snacks bar are free, we liked the banana chips.
We love the bath tub!
Reception staff was attentive and bell boy is helpful too.
Housemaids were loud. Yelling talking on walkie talkie and also checking their water bottles or anything that we heard the bottles clanking a lot even in early morning. The noise is outside of our room but the maid door was just right opposite our room.
The room was not soundproof.
We can hear every single talk since 7:30 continuously until 9:00 am.
The room was having no pre-check in check up. There are bugs inside the toilets around bath tub.
The aircon was dripping when turn on cold temperature."

"The entrance is truly amazing, wow! You can have an excellent dinner there. Breakfast was good (both Western and Thai). The spacious room had great air conditioning. Nice swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely. Our room had a temple view. We wanted to travel on to Lampang, and when it became clear that Bolt and Grab weren't very keen on the trip, the reception arranged a great alternative."

"This hotel is in an area called Tanwan, and there are several good hotels around, this hotel is in the innermost. The room was clean and the facilities were good. There is no breakfast and renting bicycles, these have to be solved outside by yourself. But the service is really good and the price is good. It is recommended for tourists who stay for several days."

"The bungalows are cozy and clean, breakfasts are same every day without much choice but the food is not bad. The hotel is away from the road so you’ll experience all the beauty of nature. There’s no food in the hotel, so prepare to travel if you want to eat. If you take a bicycle at the hotel, do not lose the lock as they’ll charge you 10$ for it. I felt as I was being ripped off but I might be mistaken (hate this feeling!) Will not stay here again perhaps because of this particular feeling."

"The hotel is a bit old, and most people probably come for the Loy Krathong festival. Prices are quite high during Loy Krathong. The rooms are large and have all the necessary amenities like TVs and bathrooms. Breakfast is included; it's a buffet with Western bread and toast, as well as Thai food. The taste is decent, and the receptionist is very helpful.
However, the room cleanliness could be improved; there was a lot of dust in the corners, and the water pressure was low, making the water temperature difficult to control. Overall, it's not bad, just some minor areas need improvement."

GGuest UserA real corner of paradise in the calm of noisy roads. Large rooms in small houses with private terrace. Little extra, towels are changed every day and bottles of water are provided. Small downside, there are no deckchairs at the pool. The breakfast is more than complete and meets European tastes as well as Asian tastes. The owner speaks English and French. A place to highly recommend.

GGuest UserPleasant stay at an old style wooden house, with a kind owner who will try to accommodate you. If you’re sensitive with the slightest sound then this is not suitable for you. Simple breakfast is provided every morning to start your day off. The place also provides free bicycle rental to roam around the Old City. Just a stone throw away from 7-eleven (with ATMs) and the daily night market surrounding the lake where you can have picnic dinner by it.
If you’re coming using Wintour Bus, it will drop you off less than a 100m from this stay (provided that your end destination is the Old City Sukhothai, as the Sukhothai Bus Terminal is located in the new city) & you can also buy tickets there to go to your next destination. There are also other bus companies’ kiosks / stores along the street that you can check them out.

FFuguiThis was my first trip to Thailand, and I stayed at La Charme in Sukhothai with my friend's family. The hotel's environment and service were excellent, but there's significant room for improvement with the in-room facilities. The bathroom fixtures were severely rusted, and the air conditioning was very noisy. We also tried the hotel's spa and dinner, which were both decent. Overall, it offered pretty good value for money.

Pph37czThe room was clean and there was fan inside (no aircon). But it still wasn't fresh enough inside a room. It was too hot even with opened window. Bedsheet was clean as well but it was cheap made from polyester. Mattress was tough. They also offer a normal blanket (not just the second linen) and towel (also made from polyester). It was quiet in the room.
As for bath and toilet it was kind of local one but it was also clean. There was kind of hot water (but it wasn't necessary because everywhere inside and outside was too hot), no any shampoo/shower gel but there was soup and toilet paper.
There was no any kettle in the room. Every time you need a hot drinking water you have to go to reception desk to have it. Internet connection was too much unstable and speed was too slow. I just almost had no possibility to use it.
Located in 5 mins walking distance from bus terminal and has an option for bike/motorbike rental.
The staff was accomodating and friendly.

However, be prepared for a bit of a workout if you're assigned a room on the third floor, as there's no elevator. The location can feel a bit isolated, particularly if you don't have your own transportation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay more pleasant. If you're just passing through and need a budget-friendly place to stay with parking, this hotel is a solid choice.

DDavid WildemanToon was an excellent launching point for exploring the Sukhothai temples, as the guesthouse is located right in front of the main entrance to the historical park. In addition to this, both bike and golf cart rental options are available at adjacent shops. In terms of service, it's pretty good - the owner lives in one of the rooms and is usually on-site, though they do disappear now and then to live their life. Check-in and check-out both rely on trust; when the owner is out they make arrangements so check-in can be done without them. In terms of amenities, the room had a good amount of space and soap, toilet paper, and a desk were included, as well as two bottles of water (but these were not refreshed on subsequent days). The facility also offers a free toast (bread/jam available) and coffee/hot chocolate breakfast in the morning to get some cheap calories in before your day exploring. Rooms don't contain a fridge, but there is one located in the main area of the second floor (though this wasn't mentioned when checking in to my first floor room, I found it myself later). Shower pressure/heat was pretty good, and AC proved sufficient once it got going, despite the apparent age of the unit. The bed was firm, but not hard, and corridor noise was pretty low. Overall, I'd say Toon is EXCELLENT value for visiting Sukhothai's old town, and a much better spot to start from than anything in the new town unless you really think you're going to want to do much of anything in the late evening after a full day of exploring temples!
