"This is the biggest room on the Qinghai-Gansu loop, bar none. It's so huge you could do square dancing in it, haha! The hotel even has a night market with food delivered right to your door, and laundry service that comes to your room. The hotel itself is beautiful and super close to the scenic area. The best part is there's an amazing fish restaurant nearby; we stayed one night and ate there twice!"

"Our stay at Colorful Danxia Flower House Hotel was truly exceptional—easily a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even personally helping us carry our luggage upstairs. His hospitality didn’t stop there—he kindly assisted us in booking tickets for a local show and even drove us there himself, which made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. "We made a quick trip to Danxia to see the beautiful rainbow mountains and found this beautiful Yurt style hotel. Prices were very reasonable and it is located right next to the national park which made it a no brainer. On top of that the rooms were comfortable, clean showers, towels, local food options (recommend trying the beer and hot pot combination), and the compound felt safe, organized and well taken care of. But in addition to being a comfortable place to come home to and rest after a day of adventure, Yibai (one of the hotel staff) also offered to be our guide and driver throughout our stay which was extremely helpful! He helped pick us up from the train station, suggest sights to see and shows to watch, drive us around the national parks, made sure we chose the right tickets, suggested food options and so. Much. More. Because of Yibai we experienced so much more than we planned for during our short stay and we don’t regret a single second of it! Of course we requested to pay for all of the transport and guide services he provided which was extremely reasonable and cheaper than taking individual Didi rides + the added narrative on all the sights we drove by! Thank you Yibai and the other hotel staff for making our stay so much more memorable. Right in front of the hotel is a street full of restaurants, and it's very close to the Colorful Danxia Scenic Area. The rooms use a smart speaker for controls, which made for a very comfortable stay. We also visited the nearby Binggou Danxia, which was equally stunning."

"We were extremely satisfied with our family's self-driving trip to the Rainbow Mountains and our stay at this family suite – the service far exceeded our expectations! The hotel's location is very close to the Rainbow Mountains scenic area, just a few minutes' drive away, making our visit to the scenic area the next day very convenient. The family suite was spacious, and our family didn't feel cramped at all. The smart home control system was very convenient; we could control the lights and curtains with voice commands. The mattress was a zero-pressure model, and we slept very comfortably after a long day of travel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was spotlessly clean, with a dry floor and no standing water – the hygiene was impeccable. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and responsive, making communication smooth and efficient. Parking is available in the courtyard, and electric vehicles can be charged, which is very convenient for self-driving tourists. The environment was quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The only slight drawback was a tiny bit of dust near the window, which was almost negligible. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is a top choice for families visiting the Rainbow Mountains."

"I visited Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park and stayed at Shiguang Manji, and I genuinely feel like I made a great choice, no regrets! It's incredibly close to the scenic area, just a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance. After watching the sunset, you don't have to bother with a long journey back, and the owner even offers free pickup and drop-off, which is a huge relief when returning after dark. The room was meticulously cleaned, every nook and cranny was spotless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making for a very comfortable stay. Given how dry it is in the Northwest, they provided a humidifier in the room, so my throat didn't feel dry when sleeping at night – that's a real bonus. After a day of walking, my legs were tired, and once I lay down on the bed, I didn't want to get up. The mattress was a zero-pressure type, quite comfortable to sleep on, and the smart home features were convenient. When I was too lazy to move, I could just use voice control, which is great for lazy people. The owner is very down-to-earth; they even made us 'San Pao Tai' tea upon check-in and offered local apricots to try. They also shared tips on how to best explore the scenic area and which observation deck offered the best sunset views for photos, without being pushy salespeople. Overall, it felt very comfortable. It's also convenient for dining and buying small items nearby. For anyone planning a trip to Zhangye Danxia, I highly recommend considering this place."
