"“No receptionist on arrival — everything was handled over the phone handled over the phone, which was frustrating after travelling. The room was dusty, there were no hangers provided, and the microwave was placed too high to use easily. There was also a large gap under the door that could easily allow pests to enter. I’m fine with basic accommodation, but cleanliness and feeling safe are a must. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those standards. I booked for three nights but left after one night because I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. Overall, the management did not seem to care about guest experience or basic upkeep.”"

"This was one of our best motel experiences for years. The rooms were large and looked modern. Enormous beds. Plenty of power points. Bedside tables. Overhead reading lights. Very large shower/toilet. The water in the shower was perfect - good pressure, warmed up quickly, and did not run out half way through a shower. Enough bench space beside the bathroom sink, and a cupboard underneath. Undercover parking nearby. Our room was on the first floor - there are no rooms on the ground floor. However there was a lift. The Workers Club next door provided meals. Would return."

"We have just spent an absolutely fabulous four days staying at Nightcap Ridge AirBnB! The beautiful Blue Fig cottage was private, tranquil, superbly decorated and furnished with everything we needed to make our "off-grid" stay an absolute dream! Overlooking the lovely dam and surrounded by rainforest we were emersed in Nature; waking to the sounds of birds, strolling through the rainforest, seeing the resident Koala and her baby and sitting on the verandah soaking in the lovely view just felt like we were in heaven! To top it off Adam and Nick the new owners were amazing hosts making sure that everything was perfect for our stay with beautiful fresh flowers setup on the table and lots of great advice on where to go and what to see. Nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend Nightcap Ridge to everyone and PS it would be a fabulous place for a wedding too! Maggie and Hugh"
