"I chose our own hotel for my business trip, and it was incredibly hassle-free. The location is convenient, making travel easy. The room was clean and tidy, and my entire stay was very comfortable. The lobby is clean and grand, and the room has plenty of natural light. The cleanliness details were impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust in any corner. The soundproofing was excellent, and the staff were kind and patient in helping with any issues. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the facilities were well-maintained for early departures. It felt very reassuring to stay here. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the city."

"The trip to Anqing, the hometown of Huangmei Opera, was far more than expected. The hotel is in an excellent location, walking directly to the ancient street of the Daoshi and the Yingjiang Temple on the riverside, making it very convenient to travel. The rooms are spotless, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and sleeps peacefully all night. Breakfast prepared authentic Anqing flavor pot stickers, fresh meat stew, full of local characteristics. Jiajia at the front desk is simple and enthusiastic, patiently explain the old city play strategy, and perfectly feel the customs of Yicheng. The environment is quiet and cost-effective. It is the preferred accommodation for visiting Anqing. It is highly recommended!"

"The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. Getting around is super easy and convenient, and there are tons of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. You don't have to go far to find anything you need, which made for a fantastic stay! The room was clean and bright, the bedding was spotless and comfortable, and the sofa and chairs were very practical. It was a really comfortable stay, and the service was thoughtful too. "This stay at the Meilun Hotel in Anqing Wuyue Plaza was a pleasant surprise! It was newly opened, and the room was spotless with soft, comfortable bedding. The surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping; it's within walking distance of Wuyue Plaza, and close to the pedestrian street and Dananmen Gate. The hotel breakfast was also quite good – I never usually eat hotel breakfasts. The indoor parking was a big plus, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Anqing!"

"Check-in was reasonably quick, and I appreciated being able to use my digital ID. They tried their best to accommodate my requests for a non-smoking room, specific orientation, and floor, though it seemed they didn't explicitly confirm these with me or ask about breakfast. I also had the option of a 3 PM late checkout, which was nice, but they didn't proactively call to ask if I wanted to extend my stay. A staff member gave a brief introduction to the room, and they did ask if I needed two key cards, showing some thoughtfulness for guests. The elevators are Hitachi brand with controlled access. I'm not sure if the AC only runs during certain hours, but the elevator indicated a gym on the top floor which isn't built yet. I'd advise against going up there directly for now. The floor where the elevator doors open at the top could be a bit slippery at night if you're not paying attention. The rooftop view, however, was quite good. The sound insulation of the room windows was excellent, and the curtains were thick, great for late sleepers, though a tiny bit of light still seeped through a crack, likely due to the wall design. I didn't find any scale in the kettle. The bathroom had a tub with a liner and bath salts, and a good selection of toiletries. The shower pressure was strong, and the hairdryer worked well. The AC cooling was also effective. A robot delivered items to the room, which was a nice touch and avoided awkwardness. The 'king-size' bed was actually two standard beds pushed together, making it quite spacious. Conveniently, there's the Qijie food street, a shopping mall, and a top-tier hospital nearby. My 3 PM checkout was very quick; there were hardly any guests, so I just gave my room number, dropped off the key card, and left. As I was exiting the revolving door, a concierge stopped me to confirm my room number and then gave me a complimentary gift suitable for a female guest 😂. They asked me to leave a review, but oddly didn't ask about my stay experience, which they could have done if I wasn't satisfied. I wasn't originally planning to review, but since they asked, I'll describe it truthfully. When I left, I saw the two doormen at the entrance, just like when I checked in. No guests needed help with luggage or opening car doors, but they weren't engaging with guests either. While it's hot standing outside, they shouldn't just stand around chatting casually 😅. Overall, this newly opened four-star hotel, compared to two other five-star standard hotels, feels quite similar in terms of facilities and amenities, except for lacking an indoor pool. It's pretty good. Anqing's local snacks are delightful, and I hope the hospitality industry in my hometown continues to improve, offering a warm and welcoming experience to all visitors."
