Perfect
RRΛCHΛTΛI stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious.
The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s close to the Huashan scenic area, making it perfect if you plan to visit the mountain. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful environment, this accommodation is an excellent choice.
The place feels homely and welcoming. They provide free shuttle services to the Huashan ticket office and the train station, which is very convenient. The common area on the first floor is also very relaxing.
Tip: Call the accommodation in advance to arrange a pick-up from the train station. Didi taxi drivers at the station tried to overcharge me, so the free shuttle is a much better option.
There is also a small strip mall near the Huashan ticket office with more shops and restaurants if you need anything.
GGuest UserBooked for a friend. The owner later upgraded them for free to a projection room in the same building as mine. The room was quite spacious, and the projector image was very clear. The owner, anticipating we might not know how to adjust the focus due to a minor obstruction, kindly set it up perfectly as soon as we entered.
We had booked two rooms for that night but didn't realize they were located in two different buildings. Future guests should keep this in mind when booking. I suspect one might be part of 'Huazhu' and the other 'Yinhua Mountain'.
The owner is incredibly kind. He even let us charge our devices (consuming a fair bit of electricity) completely free of charge. Also, if he has physical Mount Hua tickets available, they are usually cheaper than booking through online platforms, so it's worth asking him about them beforehand. Breakfast is reasonably priced at just 10 RMB per person, and it's more than enough.
SSteven DowsonStayed two nights in twin room, wanted a double but none available at time of booking. Perfect location a few minutes drive from the highway and west entrance to Huashan where the managers dropped us off and picked us up on the day of our visit. Parking available in front of hotel. Rooms are simple but very clean & comfortable, we liked the water dispenser providing hot & room temperature water, good to see a Chinese hotel thinking about the environment. We stayed on the first floor which is very tastefully decorated (see photo). Shower was not always hot, but that's our only quibble with this hotel that provides excellent value for money. We ate twice in the restaurant, the food is also good value and there's cold beer in the fridge. We had a takeaway breakfast of eggs and youtiao. One warning to Huashan visitors - check the forecast! We were lucky but it started raining heavily the night after our visit and Huashan closes when the weather is bad. Highly recommend this hotel because of the location and very helpful staff. My wife is Chinese so communication not a problem, other foreigners with little or no Chinese would need to use a translate app.
GGuest UserRoom is spacious and reasonably clean. Bed is comfortable. A family operation, is literally 3-5 mins walk from the Tourist Service Area, where one can purchase the entry ticket and is the entry point to ascend the north peak (including to reach the north peak cable car). If you prefer to hike all the way up instead of cable up, the start of walking trail is slightly more than 30mins walk away but seems like there is a free shuttle bus that would transfer people between this Tourist Service Area and the start of the walk trail. If you come by ”normal” train, you are about 10mins drive away. The husband of the hotel provides a one time service to either pick up or drop off to the train station. I suggest to use it for the latter as you would have hoards of cabbies trying to bring you from station. Currently the area where is the hotel is partially obscured by a major road expansion but don't let the cabby coax you to cancel this booking and move to their recommended hotels in the more touristic ”village centre”. On paper it sounds great but I find most eateries there sell the same choice of food and goods. For food, the wife of the hotel also operates a eatery on the ground floor of the hotel which I find tasty and reasonably priced. Note that this is budget hotel of simple fittings but I personally find of good value for money for a couple of nights after a long day up in the mountain. (I believe parking might be free there too but do check with owner to confirm).
IIrenaI would come back again. Just that view on a mountain was awesome, birds chirping in the morning...at least until 7.30 when buses will start to drive. It actually looks better in reality. We came with a car, but it's easy to get there by public transportation too (delivery can enter as well). Twin rooms are more spacious than a tent with a bunk bed, that's what I saw. High ceilings, wood inside ( with a bit strong smell of acrylic paint that eventually disappeared, pretty comfortable beds for western standard, clean floors...a bathroom was the most outdated facility, a more cleaning in a shower area would be welcome. An AC worked normally, a water kettle, toiletries, everything was fine. Chinese breakfast, no coffee or bread, but you could choose other things for yourself. A swimming pool was not working. Great spots for barbecue, lots of shadow, little water streams, spots for kids to play outside. Kind and helpful personal, fast on answer, with basic English. Nature was amazing.
IidleadelStaff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and nice and comes with a big screen. Breakfast choices are limited but adequate. There are free transport services to and fro huashanbei train station and also to and fro huashan attraction that is really helpful for foreigners. You can call the hotel via trip.com free Internet call to arrange for transport. The staff also helped us buy the cable car and bus tickets to huashan and gave us free gloves. We had dinner there, and the food was delicious (I really loved the 2 dishes I posted). We are also very honoured to be invited to a pre-release sunset photo taking experience at their rooftop with a very huge glass panel that you can stand/sit on to take instagram worthy photos. I believe the free photo shoot will likely be available soon for hotel guests. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the hotel.
11392072****We took the high-speed rail from Jingzhou, Hubei to the hotel where we stayed on the first night in Huashan, preparing to climb Huashan the next morning.
The hotel is very close to Yuquanyuan, the starting point of the hiking trip, about a five-minute walk away.
The shop owner was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to introduce the precautions for mountain climbing and told me where to have a cheap breakfast.
AAoao❤️hailanThis stay at the hotel completely refreshed my understanding of high-end hotels! From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the attention to detail - the fragrance is elegant and pleasant, the lady at the front desk proactively hands you a warm welcome drink, and during check-in she kindly reminds you that the surrounding food street is only a 3-minute walk away.
We chose the Executive King Room, which has a 45㎡ space with a modern and simple design. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city's night view. The biggest surprise is that it is equipped with a smart toilet and a tropical rainforest shower. The bedding is just the right softness and hardness, and I feel full of energy after a good night's sleep. The drinks in the mini bar are refilled free of charge, and they also thoughtfully prepare steam eye masks and earplugs. Even the makeup mirror has a fill light function. Detail-conscious people will be delighted!
Breakfast is served in the landscape restaurant on the first floor, which offers more than 50 Chinese and Western dishes, and the freshly fried Benedict eggs and Cantonese-style shrimp dumplings are special. When I checked out, I found that I had left my charger behind. The front desk immediately contacted the housekeeping department to retrieve it and took the initiative to help me express it home. This kind of service is really impeccable.
The location is excellent, a 10-minute walk to the subway station, and there are supermarkets and cinemas nearby. It is especially suitable for business trips or family trips. I have recommended it to all my friends and will choose this place next time I come to Huayin City!
CcxqdwdAfter climbing Mount Hua, I stayed at this hotel.
**Environment:** Located on Huayue Avenue, the main road in Huayin. It's conveniently located, just a few blocks south to get on the highway. It's also not far from Xiyue Temple. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby.
**Facilities:** Novotel is positioned as a high-end four-star hotel. The rooms here are very spacious, though the decor is a bit dated. The bathroom is long and looks big, but it doesn't have a bathtub – something to consider for the next renovation. The soundproofing is excellent; despite being next to a main road, you can't hear a sound with the windows closed. The lighting is a bit dim, and the bedside power outlet was broken. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi speed is acceptable. There's ample parking both above ground and in the basement. The laundry room has a limited number of washing machines and dryers. The gym is well-equipped.
**Cleanliness:** It's quite clean, but with older places, you always find a bit of discoloration in the nooks and crannies.
**Service:** The staff are enthusiastic, responsive, and provide excellent service. They even help guests with laundry and drying.
GGuest UserThe inn is very close to the Huashan hiking trailhead. The location is very convenient and there are a lot of food nearby. The hotel room is clean and tidy, and the sleep is comfortable. The boss is very enthusiastic and will help us answer any questions we have. I wish the boss a prosperous business
