GGuest UserVery well located and very comfortable hotel. Receptionist Ninno was very helpful with car rental and a day trip to Annecy and Ninno is a very cheerfull person. Everything was perfect.

GGuest UserThe location is OK, next to the transportation hub of Perrache. It takes about five minutes from getting off the subway to walking into the hotel. It's not bad if you have big luggage to carry, as you don't have to walk much in the subway station.
The hotel itself, as others have said, is nothing. But it is also possible to turn the cost savings into more favorable housing prices.
There is no resteraunt in the hotel itself, but there is a restaurant next door.
Next to him is the greet hotel, a competitor
Lyon itself is not very big, it feels like a third-tier city in China, so it is still very convenient to live here.

GGuest UserWe stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour.
The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer.
The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day.
We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.

AAng_ieOur stay at Hotel Beau Rivage felt like a quiet pause along the journey. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without trying, simply because of where you are.
The location is truly lovely—surrounded by nature, with greenery all around. It immediately felt peaceful, almost grounding, as if the hotel blends naturally into its surroundings rather than standing apart from them.
One of the highlights was the view over the Rhône River. Watching the water flow by added a gentle rhythm to our stay, whether in the soft morning light or later in the day as everything settled into evening. It’s the sort of view that makes you linger a little longer, even if you’re just passing through.
As a stopover location, the hotel worked perfectly. It was convenient, easy to access, and restful—exactly what you hope for when breaking up a longer journey.
Hotel Beau Rivage didn’t need to do much to impress. The natural setting, the river views, and its ease as a stopover made it a calm and memorable place to rest before moving on.

AAlekseiЛион — город холмистый, и отель расположен на горе, поэтому на своих двоих туда с багажом от ратуши подниматься не совсем удобно, но это терпимое неудобство. Мой номер был на третьем этаже (по французской классификации на втором) и из-за холмистости был на уровне проезжей части. Окна были зарешечены, но ощущения тюрьмы не было. В номер был чайник, другие кухонные принадлежности и (бинго!) не душ, а ванна. Завтрак стандартный европейский, точно не плохой, на 8.5/10.

BBruno UThe hotel is easy to access, only 15 minutes from the Ullins Metro, and a smiling and quick reception allowed me to get my keys back quickly.
The accommodation is functional, clean and large enough for a person.
Although located next to the motorway, the room is effectively isolated.
One bemol, reversible air conditioning works hard and doesn't heat the room too much.
