GGuest UserIf you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

GGuest UserWe were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Sheila in particular is exceptionally well mannered. Old fashioned politeness. The fixtures and fittings are all of a good quality. The carpets are plush. The food is very tasty. The choice of food is very wide. Steve and Sheila are on hand throughout the day to help with enquiries. The garden is delightful. I particularly commend this establishment for having a Holy Bible in our room. Other places are less prone to let the guests decide for themselves whether or not to read this great book. All in all we are very pleased.

GGuest UserGreat service, friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and well kept. The bed was rather old and creaky, but otherwise comfortable.
Always enjoy staying at hotels and inns with a lot of history, this is certainly one of them!
