Travelodge Hotel - Hereford
"Convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent value for money.Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect check in and out times, what more could you ask for?"
The Green Dragon Hotel
"Room dirty. Dusty floors and skirting. The walls had been painted around the TV and headboard. Cracks in the ceiling which had been painted over. Stains on the throw on the bed possibly blood? Reported this via email and reception and have still not received a reply."
Premier Inn Hereford City Centre (Old Market)
"We used the city centre Premier inn as a base for a week in March 26 Whilst visiting family and exploring the area. We had an accessible room as I have mobility issues. The room was spacious, clean and served our needs very well. The staff , both front of house and housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful."
Munstone House
Premier Inn Hereford Holmer
"This was the worst Premier Inn i’ve stayed at for a number of reasons including bad odour in the room, lack of water pressure, lights not working when you turn them on, wifi was awful and 4G was just as bad."
Somerville House
Pilgrim Hotel
"Hotel was very comfortable and clean. On the website it was listed along with other hotels as breakfast included but this wasn’t the case with the Pilgrim Hotel when we arrived we told the breakfast was an extra."
Hopbine House
"Booked on my behalf and was expecting the worst based on the reviews here, but this place is ok, if a bit tired in places. It's a very old house. My room was fine. The bath seal needs redoing urgently. Slight chill in my room (it's October) was cured by the electric heater. The tv worked, bed was comfortable enough, shower hot, plenty of tea and coffee, breakfast not the best but adequate for what it is. I didn't find the road noisy. It's a bit remote from the centre of town but fine if you have a car, and has plenty of parking. Best ring ahead with your actual arrival time as room wasn't made up when we arrived at 2pm although website states check-in from 12 this doesn't seem to be correct."
The Priory
"Wow! What a place, what a stay, what a service. We were absolutely blown away from the word go. We were celebrating my brothers 40th birthday and wanted somewhere that we could all celebrate, but also not be on top of each other. It was fab! Top Marks: -Rooms were spacious, had lovely toiletries, towels were fresh and not 'hotel' feeling. The showers in the ensuites were like waterfall showers and no temperature issues. The bedding was soft. -They provided lots of baby things to help us, like highchair, changing mat, cot, even plastic bowls and cups. -They had all cleaning stuff we needed, they even stocked the kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and a couple of packs of biscuits. -The fridge was huge and perfect for a large group with multiple family members with different food requirements. There was even a radio, so when the speaker we brought with us needed charging, we could still have a dance. The kitchen also had every utensil you could need. -The heating was changeable upstairs and down, so we were never cold. Only would say that Strawberry Norman room upstairs got a bit warm in the night as it is on the second floor. -They provide loads of little extra touches like games, dvd's activities etc. Each room does have a tv, but we had too much fun to use the ones in the rooms, the kids enjoyed watching a ovie in the bar snug. -The bar had a full selection of every glass you could want - we just put a chair in front of the entrance to stop the kids getting behind there. -The garden was the stand out moment. With the lovely comfy furniture under the gazebo and the perfect lawn, we all had so much fun playing games, with horses running in the distance and gorgeous views. -It was spotless - so clean - i genuinely couldn't see a cobweb anywhere, which must be so hard to do in a house that size. -The service and personal care from Chris & Nadia was impeccable, through all the conversations and booking process, nothing was too much. I rang quite a few times to check if certain things were there and it was never any trouble. They even have a full laundry. Only possible things to say for improvement would maybe be the internet. With it being BTGuest internet it was limited and meant that streaming any music was slightly more difficult (but still ok) unless we downloaded it first. Also potentially having a tv downstairs that you could connect to apps, so the kids could watch things - but seriously i am trying to find an improvement, as the kids were having too much fun everywhere else to think about tv. Also the stair well is very grand and wide, so difficult with a 1 year old toddling around - nothing to be improved of course, but for anyone going with a baby, bring enough bags to barricade the bottom of the stairs. Overall we absolutely loved it and definitely made some core memories that will last a lifetime. My 4 year old was devastated he had to leave, so hopefully we can return one day. Thanks Chris &"

"Great suite, staff super friendly and an amazing location. Room was super comfortable and had everything we needed."
The Greenman Fownhope Hereford
Trelough House B&B
"My son & I had spent the day making a sword at a local forge. We were exhausted upon arrival and sadly due to poor signal in the area were unable to contact the B&B. Lorraine had stayed up late to welcome us, and the spacious, warm, comfortable room was just perfect for two tired wannabe blacksmiths. Breakfast was everything we could've wished for too. Cereals and fresh fruit galore. Cooked breakfast to follow with freshly brewed coffee, both made to order and delicious. If we're ever back in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return. We recommended it to Oldfield Forge too as it's only around 5 miles (15 min drive) away. Everything here far exceeded the usual "B&B" expectations. So many are literally spare rooms in overly large houses offered as accommodation, with Kellog's mini boxes left on the side for breakfast and soggy bacon with droopy sausages to follow. This blew away the B&B preconception and provided a hotel-class stay."
Burton Court
"Did a 3 night stay from friday 6th as a last minute break.met by the owner Edward who showed us to our room..a very large en-suit with a super comfy 4 poster bed.the large bathroom had a shower and a large stand alone bath.heating was on and the hot water needed to fill the bath was never ending.scorchio in fact.! Super heating system in such a very large property.we met our hostess Helen later on and chose a breakfast time that suited our needs (8.30am) Your made to feel right at home and any questions or requests you may have throughout your stay are sorted for you immediately.there are recommendations for places to eat out locally and the 3 we tried were very good. Breakfasts are to your needs - in the large dining room surrounded by history.you can have a full English ( which we had ) supplemented by cereals and 2 very large fresh fruit platters and locally sourced fruit juices and fresh coffee. Anyone into archeology and the history of the region Edward and Helen can enlighten you especially about their family home and the historic dig that shed light on past events and history like the super rare Norman gaming piece that now resides in a museum in Manchester. The family own and look after 3 beautiful horses 🐎 one for a friend who was away training to be a vet.if I remember rightly sam is the big fellow and toffee and jinx the smaller ponies.they are living their best lives in a paddock at the front of the property. There is a well equipped bar that Edward runs and I eventually got to have a couple of drinks on the last night and had it all to myself as its early season and caters for large events and weddings etc. Definitely pre book a return trip there if we are anywhere remotely near leominster.! Super friendly owners/hosts and lovely people.our stay was comfortable, relaxing and great value for money."
