AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very modern and new. Although it is not placed in the old town, but it's only walk about 8mins to the bridge of lies. And walk about 15mins from the train station. The staff is helpful and will answer all questions

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and large. There is also Lipton tea and coffee in the kitchen for free. This price can be said to be excellent value for money. You can also see the snowy mountains in the distance from the balcony.

Единственный минус - очень шумно, слышно как льётся и стекает вода в соседней комнате и с верхнего этажа, слышны все разговоры как в комнатах так и с улицы. Полное отсутствие звукоизоляции. Нам не удалось выспаться за 2 ночи ((

- Near to bus stop that can take you to city centre, Promenada Mall and train station
- Breakfast had a good variety
- Restaurant on the top floor had great views of the Transylvanian idyll of Sibiu
- A lot of facilities but did not manage to use all

GGuest UserMercure Sibiu Airport looks like a well-functioning airport hotel that makes its thing solid, but does not entirely meet the standard of a quite comfortable 4-Sterne-Unterkunft – rather in the area of a slightly raised 3-Sterne-Gef chair. The location right at the airport is really practical, just when you arrive late or go early, and despite the proximity it is pleasantly quiet in the quiet rooms.
The rooms were clean and quiet with me, without any big disturbances, so exactly what you need when it's primarily about sleep and order. The sports area (school) I liked – it is functional and invites to a short workout, even if it is not very large or luxurious.
Overall, the hotel does not feel as high as the “4-Sterne” categorisation promises: some areas are a little older and less maintained, and the impression is rather pragmatic than stylish. But for a short, practical stay at the airport it is absolutely OK, especially when a clean, quiet room and a good sports area are important.
