Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel front desk agent tried to charge me twice for the hotel service fee. I booked through trip.com and had already paid for the hotel service fee which is $98 for 2 nights. After showing them the itemized receipt, they said it is the 3rd party service fee, not the hotel service fee. I told them I’m not paying another service fee. I’m glad I did not have to pay twice, but it was kind of ruin my day. Now there is another extra charge on my credit card placed by the hotel. I am in the process of disputing with my credit card. Overall, I like the place, but not the way they tried to charge for all these hidden or bogus fees. Note: the hotel is already expensive…
GGuest UserAn amazing stay at Home2Suites in Panama City FL! We booked a queen bedroom suite. Upon walking into the front doors to check in, a fresh ocean aroma greets you. The scent reminded me of the Polynesian resort at WDW. Everything was clean and brand new! The beds slept amazingly well and the kitchenette was so nice to have during our three day stay.
Breakfast is complimentary—waffles with all the toppings you could want, sausage, omelets, cereal and oatmeal. Coffee served all day, which was a win! Overall, a ten out of ten. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to PCity.
GGuest UserThe hotel and staff were top tier. The lobby and courtyard area were beautiful, with a lovely view of the beach. The courtyard has games like jumbo Jenga and checkers, and a bag toss game. The pool bar was a 10/10, food as well. Speaking of food, the complementary breakfast including cook to order omelets was AMAZING! They also give guests 2 complementary drinks during happy hour each day of your stay. The location is right next to Pier Park (5min walk), which you can spend the day at with food, shoppes, kid friendly fun and rides.
GGuest UserThe hotel was an older hotel that has somewhat been updated. There is no elevator. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are very small. The toilets are the kind that you would find in businesses not in hotels and they flush so hard; they are so loud. The cold-water knob on the tub was hard to turn. I was scared I was going to strip it turning it. Also, there is really no shelving in the bathroom to lay anything. There are knobs to hang stuff but no shelving. There was hair in the bathtub and on the step of the tub. The rooms are only getting the bare minimum of cleaning. The bright side is that check out is 11 instead of 10, which was a blessing. Also, even though the hotel was full, we were able to get good parking and they did have an ice machine. However, I would only stay here again as a last resort. Due to how small the room is and the size of the bathroom.
TTHfloridaFirst of all, there were extra fees involved beyond the full trip. Com price which was supposed to include all fees. The explanation was that using trip.com causes this which you find out when you arrive. There is a sign at the front desk explaining it and is only around $20 with tax but would have been nice to know about when I was comparing hotel options.
As for the room, it is older, but was clean. The ocean front view was great as is being next to the beach and they have a nice pool and hot tub area. The breakfast option was not awesome. For myself, I would look for other options next time
HHuthWe booked the Junior suite with full kitchen.
Great view of the beach.
Comfortable bed. Coffee available in lobby 24/7.
Things to love…walk right out to the beach, gas bbqs and outside tables. Two spas, large pool, easy walk to Winn Dixie, Whiskeys, Muy Wayne Os and other restaurants and stores.
Things that could be improved: Full size coffee pot is great if you are staying more than a few nights— no filters provided, given they say they can’t provide filters a Keurig would be a better choice. The cookware is cheap everything sticks to it. No scissors or basic first aid.
The room is ready for upgrades: something used to be mounted to the dresser and there are several holes that make it look trashy, no anti-slip or rail in shower, no bathroom fan, bathroom door sticks, pillows are uncomfortable.
GGuest UserWe booked the king suite later to find out at check in that the king suite did not come with a balcony as shown on the booking site. But the front desk clerk Camille assisted us, she was really pleasant and nice. We did get a refund for the difference in the room. Overall our stay was good other than the bathroom tub clogging up. Housekeeping came and took care of that problem also. The view was amazing. We will stay here again.
GGuest UserThe Hotel is located right on the beach. Check in was nice experience - Marcus has not just a killer haircut but great customer service skills- even though check in was at 6pm ( unusual late ) we got our room around 3pm. There is no breakfast and no everyday room service but the location and room itself made up for it
They have many bad reviews which was little scary but I think they are from before the renovation - our room was gulf side - 4414 and was freshly renovated
The beach is awesome - long, wide and clean - dog friendly ( the hotel is also dog friendly )
Nice bar with some food and drinks downstairs - during our stay the beer was $2 ! Food was limited but good, fresh and inexpensive
Overall great experience and affordable- we stayed few days over the new year 2022
