"First of all, there were extra fees involved beyond the full trip. Com price which was supposed to include all fees. The explanation was that using trip.com causes this which you find out when you arrive. There is a sign at the front desk explaining it and is only around $20 with tax but would have been nice to know about when I was comparing hotel options. As for the room, it is older, but was clean. The ocean front view was great as is being next to the beach and they have a nice pool and hot tub area. The breakfast option was not awesome. For myself, I would look for other options next time"

"We rented two rooms. One was on the bottom floor on one side of motel and the other was on the second floor on other side. The bottom room had traces of bed bugs, mold all along the bottom of bed skirt. Our neighbors were smoking so much green leaf that our kids were coughing. The ac didn’t work. Room was filthy . Looked like boogers all over wall. We immediately asked for a refund and left. Staff didn’t seem to care that rooms were in such disarray."

"The location of the hotel is wonderful, easy to find and located at the beach front. However, the hotel is pretty old and the facilities are aged without proper maintenance, unfortunately. The air con was the old style and was extremely loud. Service is kinda below my expectation thought - overcharged the resort fee and put it on my credit card again even I made the cash payment upon check in."

"Was very upset with the stay at the TownePlace and suites. We stayed 6 days and the room was cleaned, if you can call it that, once. Meaning the towels were replaced and half the trash was removed. The floor wasn’t vacuumed the entire stay and had grass/dirt visible you could feel on your feet while walking. Sheets were never made or replaced the entire stay. My wife and I had to call for towels and toilet paper due to the lack of care for the room by the staff. Also construction going on at 0700 outside our window. Asked management if our room could be switched/moved to the pier park Townplace and suites. Was told “call corporate”. Please don’t make the same mistake we made, spend your money elsewhere."
