Great
JJackjackjackThe rooms were clean and felt newly remodeled. Service was great and not sure what more you can expect out of a place like this one. Would stay there again.
EEzedmartinNice place to stay in Ocean Shores. Close to businesses and the beach. Loved driving on the beach and pulling out right by the hotel parking lot. Great food nearby, too!
GGuest UserWe stay here for the location and the free breakfast included. With food prices at restaurants a family of 4 could save some big change by using the free breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrown patties along with cereal and waffle maker should keep everyone happy. Coffee, water and several juices should quench everyone's thirst. With today's prices it's a great value. The hotel could use some upkeep but overall the value for the buck makes this our go to place in Ocean Shores.
EElena BarankevichThe price doesn't match the quality. The hotel is very tired. The maid never came to our place. The plaster in the bathroom is falling from the ceiling. There wasn't a single bottle of shower gel or soap. The room had a fireplace, and we were expecting a wood-burning fireplace, not a noisy electric fan. The location is wonderful, with views of the lake and a wonderful forest with walking paths. There's plenty of parking. Our internet was spotty. At breakfast, we asked for coffee and received it in a plastic cup. At dinner, all four starters and main courses were brought at the same time. The salmon was excellent, but eating it all at once was strange and inconvenient.
JJames AlvaradoNever judge a book by its cover! These rooms were decent, slightly above average. The breakfast in the morning, awesome! Very nice property as a whole. Perfect location! I would highly recommend!
MMylene WWe booked it for a fun convention. I was disappointed right off the bat. I put both my husband's name and mine on the prepay reservation. They insisted that my husband had to come in to show photo ID so they could confirm it really was us. The kitchenette had no towels or anything to wash with. They said they don't have kitchen towels or cloths. We booked 3 nights, they gave us 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. They said they had a towel shortage. Brought our garbage to the front desk because we didn't know what else to do so they said, put it outside your door and give us a call about it being there. Although, there was no replacement bags in the room. When I went to take a shower, I learned that we had 2 hotel type conditioner bottles and 2 lotion bottles. No shampoo. We only got one mini bar of soap so I used it to wash my hair. The heater in our room didn't work right either. It was either blowing cold or hot when set on Auto. We did try several settings. We froze the first night. Cooked to death second night. Third night just cold but not freezing. I heard the restaurant isn't open yet. I could see things were being worked on but they also seem to have a lack of staff. I don't feel the cost was appropriate for the level of care. I did find 2 of the staff that really did seem to care. One stuck up woman and then lazy ones. Notice the unclean porch. The tore up base of front door.
