Amazing
CCOLAbearFacilities: Everything seemed new. Toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers were provided, but there was no hairdryer. The kettle was broken, but after calling the front desk, they promptly replaced it with a working one.
Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Complimentary bottled water was available. However, they occasionally forgot to restock the water after cleaning.
Environment: There are Chinese restaurants and a Chinese supermarket nearby.
Service: The service was decent, neither outstanding nor poor.
MMOHAMMAD AHLISpacious place with 3 toilets and two soacious bedroom apartments
The shower was superb with pressure and nice products
Would be back here if I came to Lusaka
Nice staff
NNcubeThe reception was amazing and I loved the food. However I feel the hotel should invest more in their recreational facilities for example the hotel does not have a spa.The room itself was nice and the bathroom clean though not spacious as I expected. The dining area is very clean as well and I loved it.
LLauren GoatleyI usually have a good time at the resort and stayed a couple of times. This time from the start, there were a few things:
I had asked reception because we were going early, to have the breakfast boxes for the kids early to take at 5:30.
When we got to the restaurant in the evening it took a while to be served.
When we got the kids in the shower, there were no towels and when we phoned it took a while.
We also phoned to ask for normal milk as my child canât have creomora and they said they would bring but never did.
Then our taxi driver let us down so I called reception to book an airport shuttle in the morning and she said she would call back but never did. Eventually after I called back, they got back to me with results. Didnât tell me the price though.
When we checked out at 5:30, they didnât have the breakfast boxes. And told us our taxi was K400 per head!
So all in all, wasnât a great one.
HHONGCHANGBreakfast was average and environment was ok. There is a 24-hour convenience store near the gas station next to it. It is too difficult to find a convenience store in Lusaka. In a business district, you can go to the supermarket to buy something during the day.
SSSoniPerfect location and clean hotel.
Continental breakfast was good. Nice Zambian coffee was available on request.
A little noisy daytime @ lobby/restaurant area, as it's the place where most of the hotel staff members remain to watch TVđđđ . The pool was clean. Recommended place for a family stay.
GGuest UserThe Taj as usual didn't disappoint. It's a great venue with all the facilities that you could want. Great value when compared to other venues that don't have the range of facilities and service that you get there. Definitely top of the list when in Lusaka!
XXingzouzhongdongdeadeebFacilities: The facilities are basically complete, but there is no air conditioning, there is an electric fan
Hygiene: Hygiene is OK, not dirty
Environment: relatively quiet
Service: Service is basically no, but someone will send breakfast in the morning
CCOLAbearFacilities: The room is large and has a terrace.
Health: Medium level
Environment: There is an Italian restaurant downstairs
Service: Check-in is slow
NNomadSDThe best thing about this hotel is its location. Literally behind the parliament fence. Which means relative peace, quiet at night and 24-hour security. The spacious green area with a swimming pool is a romantic place for breakfast, work or just doing nothing. The guest rooms are not the most outstanding, but they have everything you need these days, although without toiletries. Two rolls of paper are the maximum decoration of the bathroom. But there is a refrigerator, TV, wardrobe, table, bedside table. Live and enjoy, if you are not afraid of periodic power outages, water, Internet (usually short-term). But that's what Africa is for.
