The highlight of the property is undoubtedly its excellent location right on Rock Beach, offering a beautiful seaside atmosphere and easy access to the promenade. Although a sea-view room was not available during our stay, the overall experience was still exceptional. The hotel amenities were very good, and the property was maintained impeccably—everything was neat, clean, and well-organized. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great selection of both continental and South Indian dishes to suit different tastes. The staff members were polite, professional, and always willing to help. The check-in and check-out processes were quick, smooth, and hassle-free. As a thoughtful gesture for our couple's stay, the hotel also surprised us with a complimentary cake and coffee, which made our visit even more special. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pondicherry."

"It’s a beautiful, new Hotel with lovely, comfortable rooms, however the location is nothing like the pictures - it’s right in the middle of a crowded street, far away from the Beach & White Town. We had a few issues with the staff incompetence at the Reception & Bar. Breakfast had a lovely spread of food yet they got the most basic thing wrong - Chai. The masala chai was terrible. The rooftop restaurant is serving excellent food yet they’re selling basic ‘tax free’ Sula Wine for 4000rs each! During checkout, the ladies at reception literally forced me, twice, to give the Hotel an excellent review! Only 3 staff members stood out for their service - Raja, Divya, and the Housekeeping Manager. They tried their best to make up for the lack of service on behalf of their colleagues. Apart from these 3, all other staff need to learn the basics of customer service. It’s a shame as the Hotel has so much potential but is let down by the staff. I would not recommend or return back to this Hotel."

"Room and value for money was great! Very clean and air conditioned rooms in a great location near the board walk. Every staff member was courteous and went out of their way for you. (Shout out to Stephan! Great guy!) Food was absolutely delightful, the bakery downstairs along with the top floor restaurant were so lovely, clean and delicious. The manager is the reason for the lower review. Solo female travellers stay away. He was very inappropriate to my partner. asking her when she would be getting in the pool, asking when she’d go for a drink with him and what time she’d be back at. When waiting in the lobby for the rest of the group to arrive, he’d purposely sit beside the women. Bragging about having 2 girlfriends and a wife. Women seemed like a commodity to him. Overall great but beware female travellers."

"Our overall experience at the hotel was good. Its central location made it convenient to access various tourist attractions within a 6 to 7 km radius. Being a pure vegetarian restaurant, the variety of north indian dishes was limited, but the south indian options were diverse, reasonably priced, and satisfying. Opting for a suite for our family stay provided ample space, good ventilation, and effective air conditioning. However, the washroom lacked a mirror, suggesting a need for improvement. The cleanliness of the toilet was satisfactory. The staff, though facing challenges in understanding english, displayed politeness and eagerness to assist. Adequate parking space was also available."

"Lovely oasis of calm, boutique hotel in the heart of the White Town. We stayed for 2 nights. We dined at the restaraunt on the first night, the food and ambience was excellent. We also dined twice at their sister restaraunt" La Villa" which had a 7 course taster menu that was excellent and great value for money. They are also affiliated with the bar/restaraunt "The Spot" which we really enjoyed visiting during the day for a drink and spot of lunch in a nice courtyard. Breakfast at Villa Shanti was also good and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Our room was charming and comfortable. We felt the roof terrace area could have been a more attractive area to sit out on than it was it was quite basic and felt a bit neglected but otherwise we found the hotel a great place to stay."
