The family room was quite spacious. The environment was decent, and the cleaning staff were excellent – they did a thorough job every day. Breakfast didn't have many options, mostly egg-based, so the selection wasn't huge, but it was acceptable. Getting around was very convenient, right next to a subway entrance. You could get to all of Qingdao's main attractions directly or with one transfer, which was very economical and convenient. Nearby, there's a Xingbang Tea City where you can bargain for tea, often getting more than half off. They have all kinds of tea, which is very handy. Across the street is a wholesale market; for seafood, you need to be careful and haggle. Oh, and this location is super convenient for going to Taitung Pedestrian Street and Licun Night Market; we went seven or eight times. For a family of four on an eight-day trip, we felt like we'd seen all of Qingdao. It was great value for money, things weren't expensive, much better than Qinhuangdao Beidaihe, and even better than Dalian. Overall, it felt comfortable. The weather wasn't ridiculously hot; it was hot for three days, then cool for three or four, and then hot again on our last day, but still under 32-33℃. There weren't many local specialties to buy; you could just go to the city center. One thing in the room, though, was small drain flies/midges. If the hotel could eliminate or prevent these, the overall experience would be much better. That's just a suggestion.

The room itself wasn't huge, but it was very well laid out, and the cleanliness was good. The main draw for us was the convenient location, very close to the attractions. The courtyard has a great vintage feel and is perfect for photos. Finally, a huge thank you! Our child hadn't finished their holiday homework, and since the hotel wasn't fully booked, they graciously granted us a late check-out, allowing our child to finish up in the room. Thank you!
