"After 2015 we returned to Villa Rubin for the summer holidays in August 2023. Week from 13 to 20 Reservation made directly by calling the property. We immediately had the opportunity to see the professionalism of the operator; We had some specific requests and they definitely accommodated us. Check in carried out online in order to reduce waiting times at reception; within 10 minutes we received the necessary information and keys for our apartment with private garden. The entire complex is decidedly vast, nevertheless the care of the green area and the daily cleaning of the common areas is immediately evident. We took advantage of the half board formula with breakfast and dinner served as a buffet. The choices, in both situations, really range for every palate, also paying attention to gluten free, vegetarian and vegan foods. During dinner drinks are paid separately, you have the possibility to pay for them in cash, via electronic cards or choose to have them charged to the room. Special thanks go to Sandra who on August 19th was present at the reception of the restaurant area and helped me kindly wished you a happy birthday. Dragan, the person in charge of ordering drinks, was really professional and also wished me the best on my birthday. The room staff, again on the occasion of my birthday, when I returned from the day on the beach, made me find a bottle of rosé with 2 flutes for my wife and me. These little surprises pleasantly impressed us and are synonymous with the professionalism and kindness of ALL THE STAFF."

Nice spacious rooms, quiet area, and bicycles from the hotel to go to the beach or downtown make your visit so easy and stress-free. The staff, along with the owner, is something that you rarely find. So polite, so considerate, so friendly, so smiling - it's healing for the soul. For breakfast, they make their own bread, one of the best I have ever tried. I even got the recipe :-). Thank you all for the beautiful 3 days, how short our vacation was. "First of all, the campsite is good with nice looking and new facilities but a bit small. In general we had a good vacation, but the dialog with the campsite and Maistra ( Campsite owner) destroyed much of this! One year before arrival, we asked for an offer via mail directly to Maistra. In the mail we informed about dates and that we would bring our own caravan but also number of persons (number of adults + children). After I received an offer, which we accepted but at the same time, asked Maistra to confirm if this were for all 5 persons which were stated in the first mail. This isn´t answered directly, and I don´t note this. On the day of checking out, the price for our stay has now gone from 14076,06HRK(1875,18Euro) to 19864,56HRK(2635,40Euro) without tax 19505,02HRK (2587,70Euro) which gives a difference of 5428,96 (720,25Euro). The price difference is due to the fact that the offer I received, were only for one person, and now two more adults were included. Also basic information like my name and nationality were wrong, which made the check In, much longer then anticipated. Along with the campsite reception we agreed on paying the full amount and afterwards have the discussion with Maistra about this, due to the fact that I haven´t done any mistakes and this were Maistra´s mistake alone( words from the reception. I have now been in contact with Maistra since we got home. From the start they have denied to have done any mistakes and now I don´t get any reply´s from them. This is extremely disappointing! We had our eyes on some of their other campsites, and if they had handled this cases good, we would have visited one of them in 2024, but this is very much of the table. "

Villa Marea

"This family run business on the outskirts of Rovinj was a delight. The owners and the lovely Gabi and Melita made us feel so welcome and were very kind and helpful. The entire villa inside and out was key exceptionally clean. Lovely little pool was perfect for cooling down after a day out. The studio was perfect and had everything we needed. It is quite a long walk in and out of town but we used the bikes or walked down and jumped in a taxi or Uber back. The local beach is fabulous, has some lovely little bars and lovely outlook. We cycled along to villa Rubin’s to watch footy on the beach and they served great cocktails. The cycle rise through the forest to the Monte was lovely, mainly shaded. Definitely keep your the beaches nearer to the accommodation as the sun beds are better value. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it and would highly recommend Villa Marea, we will be back ! "This hotel and island blew us away. The setting, the views, the plentiful food and drinks - all wonderful. Everything was immaculately clean and well kept. The surrounding water crystal clear for snorkeling and plenty wildlife to see. We went to the Basilico Pizza and Pasta restaurant a couple of nights and the food and service was excellent. Rovinj itself was like a postcard and the first sight of it from the wee ferry across from the island will never be forgotten. We had a brilliant time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel."
