Tabino Hotel Sado ★★★
"It was my first time using the hotel and I stayed for 2 nights, and the staff, including the front desk staff, greeted me well and was very helpful. There is also a large public bath where you can relax. I went to Sawada and Ryotsu in a rental car, and it was quiet at night and I slept soundly. At breakfast, we also enjoyed local foods such as rice and rice cakes. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again."
Yahatakan ★★★
"the portion sizes of the meals are very big and generous. the onsen is great and they have a sauna too"
Kanazawaya Ryokan ★★
"Amazing place, felt back in time ! The hosts were really nice. I recommend this place."
Rosencat ★★★
"Rural experience is great! The kittens are so cute! Adoring ibis near the farmland! Beautiful scenery in Niigata and Sado Island."
Sado Resort Hotel Azuma ★★★★
"Had the best dinner and breakfast here - seafood is very fresh and well prepared. The rooms and tub has a great view of the ocean"
Hotel Familio Sado Aikawa ★★★
"When I made a reservation for three people through Trip.com, it automatically changed to a quadruple room and I was charged for four people, so I couldn't make a reservation for three and ended up losing money for one person. The hotel's public bath was small and only big enough for 3-4 people, which was a bit of a concern, but otherwise it was comfortable. The buffet-style meals were also delicious and nice."
Kanazawaya Ryokan (Sadogashima) ★★
"Indoor cleaning and bathroom maintenance are not well done."
Sado Futatsugame View Hotel ★★★
"I particularly liked the decor of the rooms. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Among other things, they allowed me to park my bike in the entrance area, and instead of just storing my luggage, they let me check in much earlier. The location is, of course, remote but beautiful, with plenty of nearby attractions and a great view. There was also a stargazing event, which was much better than I expected. The food was also delicious, very upscale but not over the top."
Kohan No Yado Yoshidaya ★★★
"The Japanese-style room was very relaxing. Although it was a breakfast-only plan, the breakfast was quite luxurious and delicious. I'm curious about dinner. However, I feel the time for using the hot springs is a bit inconvenient. If it closes at midnight, younger people might not be able to use it. There aren't many places to have fun nearby, so it might not be a problem, but Sado Island itself is very boring, and even though the accommodation was good, I probably won't go again."

Nipponia Sado Aikawa Gold Mining Town
"It was a very interesting experience. The rooms are scattered throughout Aikawa Old Town, so I recommend staying at the main building for convenience. The building itself is a century-old house. Sado Island is very beautiful, and the sea view of Oo-Turtle at the northern end of the island is amazing!!"
Retreat Sado Island Glamping
"The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and watching the sunrise over the sea is incredibly romantic. The room is also clean and tidy, with a sofa, coffee table, refrigerator, air conditioning, and flashlight. The outdoor dining area is also lovely. The shared bathroom and toilet are a bit far, about a 2-minute walk, which might be inconvenient for women to use at night."
Aokiya
"The facility itself has a Showa retro feel, but the rooms are spacious and the views from the large windows are amazing, giving it a nostalgic feel, and the toilet and washroom are convenient and have a calming atmosphere. The hot spring♨️ has a retro bathtub and a brand new open-air bath♨️ that was added about two years ago, and it felt great, and the food was delicious. The rice🍚 in particular was superb, and I was really impressed by the delightful service of being allowed to have as many refills as I wanted. As expected!! I ate rice from the home of rice🌾."
Senkakuso
"Local seafood and polite dishes, very delicious. It was a Showa inn, but it was nice to be kind."
Guesthouse SADOYOI
"This guesthouse was very clean, had parking available, and allowed for a relaxing stay! There are also many lovely places within walking distance, making it enjoyable to stroll around!"
Hotel New Katsura
"I am a truck driver. I use this hotel for work every year. This time, I arrived at Ryotsu Port at 22:00, so I arrived around 22:20, but when I arrived, two employees came to greet me at the entrance, which I was very impressed with. I am very sorry for being so late. The bath was open until 23:00, so I was able to take my time. Of course, I did not have dinner, but I had a leisurely breakfast. It was a buffet, so I had a lot of things I liked. It was very delicious. On the way back, I used the restroom, but I was not very clear about the difference between men's and women's, and I ended up entering the women's restroom by mistake, and I ran into an employee. He looked very suspicious, but I am by no means a suspicious person, so please understand. I am very sorry. I would like to use this hotel again when I visit Sado, so I would appreciate your help."
