"Osado Seaview Hot Spring Hotel Located on the cape on the southwest side of Sado Island, it has ample parking space and great views. You can enjoy the sunset and the Sea of Japan. The check-in staff is friendly and detailed, and there are many special services that can be reserved. There are welcome drinks in the lobby from 3pm to 6pm, local cultural performances at 7:15pm, free shuttle buses to the Sado Kinzan ruins to enjoy the light show at 8pm or 9:30pm, and free midnight snacks (Inari sushi) at 10pm. Quite a variety of resources, you can come to the lobby to use/reservation if you need. This time I stayed in a tatami room. Although there is no own shower space, the space is very spacious and should be able to accommodate up to six people. Some facilities look a little old, but small places are still noticed, such as small stickers for writing names on slippers, new heating kettles for snacks and drinks, and multiple USB connectors for charging extension cords, which are very considerate. The mattress will be laid in the evening, and it feels older. Some quilts feel a bit old, and the pillows only feel hard and a bit flat. The air conditioning in the room is a little inconvenient to adjust. Sometimes it is too hot and sometimes it is too cold. I have to get up and adjust it again when I go to bed at night. It is recommended to update the air conditioning system. The public hot spring is on the first floor. There are not many people around 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening and around 9 o'clock on weekends. There are semi-open-air hot spring pools, oven saunas, and water baths. Towels are provided, so you don't have to bring your own. There are also many shampoos to choose from, and the lotions and cleaning products provided are also very good👍🏻 The breakfast options are very diverse, with many local ingredients (Sado milk🥛, Sado fried yellowtail, etc.) The most recommended seafood bowl🍱, you can freely match salmon, tuna, fresh shrimp, salmon* and other seafood, very delicious! The restaurant staff are also very friendly."

"I used it on a weekday after the holidays (9/25-27). There were no other guests, so it was comfortable and like having the place to myself. It wasn't a problem at night either, as it's a little far from the prefectural road in front of the inn and there isn't much traffic at night. Can I use the ice, fruit, iced coffee, etc. in the fridge? (Free? Paid?) I'm not sure... If you would like to leave it for the next guest when you leave, I think it would be a good idea to write a message! Please replenish it! Next time I'd like to rent the whole house with my family."

"The toilet smell is palpable upstairs, lingering whether you're awake or asleep. The private rooms seem to have been renovated, but for some reason, years' worth of dust has accumulated thickly on the shoji windows. The grilled fish at breakfast was like a sponge. There was so much trash and dust in the gaps of the tatami mats in the dining room that it was unbearable to look at directly. I booked this inn because there were no other accommodations nearby, but I deeply regret it; I should have chosen a place in another area 20-30 minutes away."

"When I made a reservation for three people through Trip.com, it automatically changed to a quadruple room and I was charged for four people, so I couldn't make a reservation for three and ended up losing money for one person. The hotel's public bath was small and only big enough for 3-4 people, which was a bit of a concern, but otherwise it was comfortable. The buffet-style meals were also delicious and nice."

Our hostess Kanako spoke fluent English and very helpful and gave us many important tips and we learned a lot of Japanese words from her. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service was above and beyond. This is a very well managed hotel paying attention to every detail. We highly recommend this hotel as number 1 choice when visiting Sado Island. The Onsen facility was nice and water is top quality. We hope to come back with friends on the next trip. Thank you for your hospitality and great service!!!"

"I stayed for 1 night and it was fantastic. The whole hotel staff is very welcoming, attentative and supportive (I don't speak Japanese). I arrived earlier than Checkin time and they put in a lot of effort to make my room available. One of the employees also showed me how to iron in the room. The Japanese futon was surprisingly comfy and I slept well. All amenities are clean. I enjoyed the public bath at the end of my day. The breakfast was delicious. The view from the terrace incredible. I can only recommend this place."

"The facility itself has a Showa retro feel, but the rooms are spacious and the views from the large windows are amazing, giving it a nostalgic feel, and the toilet and washroom are convenient and have a calming atmosphere. The hot spring♨️ has a retro bathtub and a brand new open-air bath♨️ that was added about two years ago, and it felt great, and the food was delicious. The rice🍚 in particular was superb, and I was really impressed by the delightful service of being allowed to have as many refills as I wanted. As expected!! I ate rice from the home of rice🌾."
