We knocked on the door and the proprietress was still waiting for us. There were no slippers or towels in the room and no room card was required. It was a two-story ******* house in the shape of a Chinese character U. On the left side of the door was the restaurant. It was a typical ******* style. They also provided porridge and pickled mustard in the morning. At the foot of Mount Everest, except for the high-end B&Bs starting at 500 yuan, the express accommodation conditions were average, but much better than the bunk beds at the base camp…"

"I highly recommend the Yunzuo Xingguang Hotel (Everest Town branch). It was the best accommodation experience during our Everest trip. The guest rooms were clean and tidy, with complete facilities and a stable hot water supply in the bathroom. Whether you're self-driving or taking a chartered car, this hotel is perfectly suited. If you're coming to Everest Town, you absolutely must choose this place. We'll definitely stay here again next time."
