I've stayed at this hotel many times. Even when I'm in Pudong, I make a special trip to stay in Hongqiao. Recently, with the World Cup playing, the breakfast area has a big TV where you can watch the matches. It's so enjoyable to eat breakfast, drink coffee, and watch the World Cup all at the same time. Plus, on weekends, breakfast doesn't end until 11 AM, which is much more flexible than other hotels, so you can sleep in a bit without any problem. Check-in is also very fast. Right outside the hotel entrance, there's a takeout locker, so even if you're grabbing a late-night snack, it's just a few steps away. What really deserves a shout-out is Tom, the front desk/concierge manager. He's warm and polite and even helped me send a package. Honestly, every time I stay here, I find so many good things to praise about this hotel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The location is super convenient! It's about a 15-18 minute walk to nearby Urumqi Road and Anfu Road. The hotel lobby is grand, and the room layout is well-designed with pleasant color schemes. Breakfast is also great, especially the特色葱油面 (special scallion oil noodles). It only took about 10 minutes by taxi to get to Jing'an Kerry Centre. This hotel is really convenient if you're exploring the area.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shanghai Hilton. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a clean and elegant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The ambience, enhanced by the music throughout the space, creates a relaxing and welcoming experience.
The only suggestion I would make is to expand the breakfast variety. The breakfast was enjoyable, but having more options would make the experience even better.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I especially loved the amenities, which were not only excellent but also thoughtfully integrated into the overall design of the hotel. The aesthetic of the space complements the amenities perfectly, making the entire experience feel luxurious and well-curated.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. It’s definitely a place I would love to return to, and I hope to visit again with friends in the near future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent location, right in Hongqiao Airport, which is incredibly convenient before a flight. The rooftop pool with views of the runway is impressive – a real treat. On the same floor, there's also a Jacuzzi and a sauna (which barely worked), all free for guests – a nice bonus.
Separately, I want to mention: there were difficulties with food delivery in the hotel area. There aren't many large, reliable delivery chains, and one order arrived with noticeably undercooked chicken, raising serious safety concerns. Perhaps the hotel should recommend trusted delivery options to guests or provide a list of reliable nearby restaurants.
Overall, the experience was positive. Thank you for the stay!
This hotel is near the Zhangjiang Science Hall, so it is the most convient hotel if you have any activities there. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast provides lots of options.
One thing I want to point out: although the room is equipped with many intelligent things. For instance, toilet is intelligent, I do not really understand the design. As you can see from the attached gif, when you approach the toilet, the lid lifts automatically, which is great. However, the toilet seat also lifts. Is it designed only considering how males use it? And in addition, there are many males sit to use the toilet instead of standing. This is a very funny design, and I have to push down the toilet seat everytime to use it, which does not help with the life but create lots of troubles.

I chose this hotel near a scenic spot for my business trip. On the first day, I was assigned a room on what they called the first floor, which was very dark. I asked to switch rooms, especially since there were basic twin rooms available on floors 1-3. The two women at the front desk that day were just okay, especially since one of them assigned me to a room that was both far away and unsatisfactory. Then I discovered I'd overpaid through Trip.com! It was several hundred yuan more expensive than other agency portals listed on Amap. I could have booked a room with breakfast included for 699 yuan a day in advance. But when I booked through Trip.com in advance, that 699 yuan package option wasn't even available, and the general price was higher than on Amap. I ended up paying over 900 yuan for a room without breakfast and was forced to take an unnecessary photo. Trip.com only had these impractical options. I later upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room type they were originally going to give me on the first day felt like a basement!
What truly stood out were the two male staff members who were on duty when I returned to the hotel at night, Alex and his colleague. Both of them were waiting for guests at the main entrance every evening, showing real dedication to service. Honestly, Alex was the only one in the entire hotel who had the five-star service attitude one would expect. Everyone else was just okay; perhaps hotels that are more business-oriented have higher service standards. In any case, Alex flexibly accommodated my subsequent requests within his authority. So, I paid for the second night myself, and I had a very long, quiet sleep. I haven't slept that well in a long time. If I didn't have to leave in the afternoon, I would have loved to sleep through this rainy day.
I also participated in an activity where you get a small gift if you get 20 likes on a social media post, which turned out to be just a small cardholder. 😹
First, I'd like to thank Trip.com for helping us secure a room, even though the stay was truly awful. We booked two rooms for one night. In our room, it was so hot at night that we couldn't sleep, and we 'fled back' to the city center at 1 AM! My friend in the other room only managed to fall asleep at 2 AM because of the heat…
This was our second time staying at this hotel because we liked the green environment and the nearby Liyou Village was very relaxing the first time.
Compared to last year, the hotel's parent-child activities have improved and been upgraded. However, everything except the outdoor slide requires a fee. Last year, the ball pit area had old facilities and safety hazards, but after this year's upgrade, they started charging for it.
After check-in, we went to the room to drop off our luggage and found the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned; there was water everywhere.
In the evening, I asked housekeeping if they had thinner blankets. I was told no and to check if the blanket in the wardrobe would suffice. My child was sweating profusely in their sleep and couldn't get back to sleep after waking up from the heat. Around 12 AM, I called housekeeping again to ask for a thinner blanket, and received the same old answer that the bedding is the same all year round. It was only after I adopted a complaining tone that the staff said they would go check. About 15 minutes later, housekeeping brought a thinner blanket. By then it was past 12:30 AM, and we really couldn't take it anymore. Both adults and children couldn't get proper rest, so we decided to drive back to the city. The air conditioning in the room couldn't cool down; it felt like two different seasons inside and outside…
It was truly terrible!!!
Additionally, the hotel's buffet not only had limited variety, but the lamb in the hotpot seemed to be processed and tasted awful. The sashimi wasn't very fresh either.
As my friend said, even the fresh squeezed juice that used to be available at breakfast is gone…
