Indigo Properties in Shanghai

This hotel is right by the Bund 16 Pu Wharf, very close to the Bund and the Huangpu River. You step out directly onto the riverside, and the night view is stunning. Almost all public areas within the hotel offer fantastic river views. Inside, there's a wall made of old iron plates. I asked the staff, and they told me it's designed with an old Shanghai wharf theme, using actual ship planks – a hotel with a real story! The room, while not large, was very cozy and quite clean, with a charming Chinese-style decor that gives it a unique feel. Another highlight of this hotel is the service. All the staff members are incredibly polite and provide warm, attentive service, especially the front desk team. My stay this time was quite pleasant, and I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

This hotel offers great value for money, probably the best I've experienced in Shanghai over the past few years. The facilities are comprehensive, and while the hotel shows its age a bit, the service quality is impeccable. The staff are incredibly welcoming and warm to guests. The hotel might ask guests to pick up their food delivery downstairs, likely due to food safety concerns, but I completely understand and support this policy.

I have never written a review before but we had such an amazing stay at Hotel indigo i had to review it. The hotel itself was absolutely stunning, everything was so clean and luxurious. The location is perfect, right infront of dishui lake, you are able to watch the fireworks from the hotel balcony. The breakfast was delicious and had a diverse selection to choose from. Our first room was beautiful and had stunning views of the city but we we kindly upgraded to a lake veiw room which was even more beautiful. We were also offered complimentary breakfast. The staff at the hotel were helpful and super friendly even helping up to rent bikes throughout the day and night. I would like to specifically thank Claire one of the on duty managers who was so kind and very helpful with renting bikes, Angus who also rented us bikes and was so helpful with anything we needed and was always available for us to contact, his english was very good, this made communication very easy. And Carter who really went out of his way to help and make us feel welcomed. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.
