Indigo Hotels in Shanghai

Stayed at this hotel with my family, and while it's not a huge place, the views are absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, patiently helping us with our room arrangements based on our specific needs – their service was top-notch. However, it seemed like there weren't many staff members around, which sometimes led to a slight delay in service, though I completely understand as everyone was working so hard. It would definitely be even better with a few more staff on hand. A special thanks to the front desk staff who were a huge help during our stay. I'll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends.

Came here for a weekend getaway on a Saturday night, booked a deluxe lake view balcony room primarily to watch the fireworks. Before checking in, I received a call and was added on WeChat, where they sent me the parking lot address. Arrived at the hotel around 7:30 PM, and during the check-in process, I was unexpectedly upgraded to a lake view suite – a very pleasant surprise! The room was incredibly spacious with high ceilings, and being a new hotel, the decor was also exceptionally beautiful. The balcony room offered a direct view of Dishui Lake, and the fireworks were perfectly clear. No need to jostle with crowds on the ground; enjoying the fireworks with a drink in hand was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was served until 12:30 PM, allowing for a leisurely lie-in before heading down to eat. The breakfast selection was decent; the curry was particularly delicious, and the fried dough sticks were perfectly crispy. Waking up and going straight for breakfast felt like having lunch – truly maximizing the vacation vibe!

The location is great, very close to Shanghai Railway Station, and offers a quiet retreat in the bustling old town. The hotel has a modern, movie-themed design with spacious public areas and generous room sizes. The twin beds are 1.35 meters wide, making it one of the most spacious hotels for its price point, perfect for families. Despite a few minor hiccups during our stay, Chris and Joy resolved them quickly and efficiently, so overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.
