Staying at the Indigo Jing'an was like stepping into a vintage Shanghai movie dream! The hotel perfectly blends the city's unique charm with cinematic aesthetics. The green and gold lobby, adorned with film-themed art installations, creates an incredibly immersive atmosphere – every snap looks like it's straight out of a fashion magazine. Guest rooms start at a spacious 50 square meters, elegantly designed with Shikumen-inspired headboards and retro lamps that beautifully showcase local culture. The large circular bathtub and smart bathroom fixtures were delightful surprises. The service was also impeccable. Both managers at the front desk, Lucky and Chris, were warm and attentive. Not only did they make check-in quick and efficient, but after learning I had an early train the next day, they thoughtfully helped me plan the fastest route. The concierge proactively assisted with my luggage, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. Located in the heart of Jing'an, the hotel is right next to a subway station, making getting around super convenient. My overall experience far exceeded expectations; I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai! Highly recommended!

By chance, I stayed one night at the Indigo on the Bund and was lucky enough to be upgraded to a river view suite. The staff were gentle and courteous. The hotel's location is very friendly for cruise travelers; you essentially step off the boat and you're there. The environment does feel a bit dated, but they are actively working on renovations to keep up. Overall, it's a good review!

Came here for a weekend getaway on a Saturday night, booked a deluxe lake view balcony room primarily to watch the fireworks. Before checking in, I received a call and was added on WeChat, where they sent me the parking lot address. Arrived at the hotel around 7:30 PM, and during the check-in process, I was unexpectedly upgraded to a lake view suite – a very pleasant surprise! The room was incredibly spacious with high ceilings, and being a new hotel, the decor was also exceptionally beautiful. The balcony room offered a direct view of Dishui Lake, and the fireworks were perfectly clear. No need to jostle with crowds on the ground; enjoying the fireworks with a drink in hand was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was served until 12:30 PM, allowing for a leisurely lie-in before heading down to eat. The breakfast selection was decent; the curry was particularly delicious, and the fried dough sticks were perfectly crispy. Waking up and going straight for breakfast felt like having lunch – truly maximizing the vacation vibe!
