Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts Hotels in Shenzhen

Our stay was absolutely delightful! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Hesper from Guest Relations, who proactively contacted us upon arrival and was always available via WeChat for any questions we had during our stay – it was super convenient. The hotel facilities and our room were clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable. We even had a full set of Dyson hair products and slippers provided, which was a lovely touch and truly impressed us. Even the housekeeping staff were courteous, allowing us to completely relax and unwind. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained; the sand by the pool was incredibly clean, catering to both adults and children. The breakfast selection was also very extensive. The thoughtful service made our trip feel so warm and inviting. We'll definitely be bringing more friends here next time!

The room itself was easily a 90 out of 100, though both pillows were quite soft, making them a little uncomfortable. It would be perfect if one of them offered more support. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, I was looked after by a dedicated guest service agent. Her genuine smile, sincere care, and attentive service truly stood out. I sincerely appreciate having such wonderful staff – a big thumbs up! Her name was Linda. During my stay, there was an unfortunate incident: I slipped in the changing room by the swimming pool, scraping and bleeding. Thankfully, the staff quickly came to my aid and handled everything. My wound still hasn't healed completely, and I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to any future guests. Your hotel really needs to address the slippery floor in that changing room. Please ensure the anti-slip mats cover the entire area without any gaps, so guests don't slip on the uncovered smooth tiles. More 'wet floor' warning signs should also be prominently displayed.

Facilities: InterContinental's hardware never disappoints. It keeps up with the times, constantly upgrading its amenities. Within the hotel, you have everything you need without stepping out: entertainment, a gym, swimming, games, and dining. Hygiene: Despite being an InterContinental hotel by the sea, there was absolutely no musty smell in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. Every corner of the room was spotlessly clean, and the toiletries were neatly arranged. Buffet: Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide array of choices, all delicious. Dinner and photo shoots need to be booked in advance. Service: What truly impressed me this time was the service. I've always felt that InterContinental's resort hotels generally offer better service than their city counterparts. Before check-in, they called to confirm my arrival and asked about any needs, which they tried their best to accommodate. The guest relations manager, in particular, proactively contacted me to inquire about any special requests. Upon learning I was a member, they thoughtfully arranged a room upgrade when available, which I'm incredibly grateful for. I was extremely satisfied. Throughout my stay, they consistently checked in on my needs. The entire experience was very satisfying and complete. Thank you, InterContinental.
