Our stay was incredibly pleasant, and I have to give a special shout-out to Jessica at the front desk! She was warm and attentive, handled the check-in process efficiently, and patiently answered all our questions about the room type and surrounding amenities. Her demeanor was gentle and professional, and her service throughout was meticulous and thoughtful. Any requests we had were met promptly, making us feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Her professional service significantly enhanced our overall stay. Many thanks to Jessica for her dedicated effort; I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

Fantastic stay in this hotel with spectacular view! The unique cliff view is definitely worth every penny! We have chosen a room with direct view to the waterfall. As our stay was on a Friday, the waterfall was not available which is bit to our disappointment. But waking up this morning (Sat), the waterfall is on. So nice! And so lucky we can catch the chance to take some more photos! At night, there is a lighting show in the open cliff area. So we taken our dinner out the balcony to enjoy the light show. Nice activity at night!

The service of this hotel tops all experiences with hotels. When I checked in, the staff asked if can add my WeChat account for instant customer service purposes. Then I received tips for the nearby travel spots, dining assistance, caring services such as asking me if needs to take my food delivery up to the room for me and asking if I need another taller pillow etc. 

The complementary fruit platter and dessert and some freebie at time of checkout are indeed a bonus surprise.

Fantastic! They even upgraded my daughter and me to a suite for free and provided a complimentary breakfast for my child. The service was absolutely impeccable. It's a shame we were pressed for time this trip; my daughter wants to try the pool next time, so we'll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay! I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a better room for free, and they even prepared a lovely little cake as a surprise. The upgraded room was much more spacious and comfortable. The cake was delicious too – fine texture and not too sweet; you could really feel the hotel's thoughtful touch. Throughout my stay, both the front desk and guest services team were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, with quick responses to everything. Thanks to the hotel for this unexpected surprise. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

I recently stayed at the Ruijin Intercontinental, a rare gem in the heart of Shanghai with over 50,000 square meters of garden greenery.

The location is fantastic, right at the intersection of Ruijin Road, Maoming Road, and Fuxing Middle Road, making it very convenient for getting around. It's close to Huaihai Road, Xintiandi, and the former French Concession.

The hotel boasts two century-old brick-and-wood heritage buildings, plus a nearly century-old Japanese-style building that now houses a Cantonese restaurant. There's also an ancient well, as seen in the last photo. The historical building tour within the hotel is highly recommended; it takes about half an hour and introduces these three historic structures. You can inquire at the front desk about timings – apparently, it's daily mornings during summer and only on holidays otherwise.

The room decor is quite vintage and very comfortable, though the bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation type.

The executive lounge's afternoon tea was excellent 👍, but dinner was just so-so. Why do they dim the lights so much during dinner, though? 🤔

Breakfast was extensive and even included ice cream.

The hotel service was good.

My family came to Shanghai for a trip, and we looked at many hotels. Hotel prices in Shanghai have gone up quite a bit during the summer vacation, but this hotel's price-performance ratio is still quite good. InterContinental quality is always guaranteed. It's located right by the Huangpu River; just go downstairs, turn right, and cross the street, and you're on the riverside promenade. It's about a ten-minute drive to the 'Three Piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), the Science and Technology Museum, and the East Pavilion of the Shanghai Museum, which is very convenient. We were upgraded to a river view room on the 30th floor. As soon as we entered, we saw the cleaning staff cleaning the glass curtain wall from the outside – they work so hard in the scorching summer heat. The breakfast was good, with a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and the gym facilities were comprehensive. Overall, it was great, and we'll definitely come again.

Dishui Lake is truly a wonderful place, so I planned a mini-vacation for my family and chose the InterContinental Shanghai Dishui Lake Hotel. The hotel's architecture is very unique and it's located right by Dishui Lake. The automatic sliding doors at the entrance give a sense of ceremony, and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. Check-in was also very quick. This time, we stayed in a deluxe balcony lake view twin room, and the scenery was stunning. We could see the beautiful views of Dishui Lake and also the hotel's infinity pool. The balcony was huge, big enough to fit a set of table and chairs.

The room also had a small lounge area, and each bed was 1.35 meters wide, perfectly comfortable for two people. The outdoor infinity pool at the hotel wasn't very deep, making it great for kids, and it was also perfect for taking photos. The outdoor pool was open until 6 PM, and the indoor one until 10 PM. A quick heads-up: you need to wear a swimming cap for both the indoor and outdoor pools. After swimming, we returned to our room and found a complimentary bowl of tremella soup by the bedside – such a thoughtful little surprise! We were so happy.

The breakfast buffet the next day was also very rich, and the environment was excellent. We went early, so it wasn't too crowded and quite peaceful. InterContinental members even received complimentary crab roe soup dumplings, which were absolutely delicious!

The kids went to the children's playground. It wasn't large, but it was very clean and not crowded. The activities were more suitable for younger children, but my child still had a great time. The hotel is very photogenic; the lobby is beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the outdoor rock garden is also great for photos. Our whole family, young and old, had an incredibly fun time.

Everything was great, from the front desk to the service and room cleanliness. One afternoon, I returned to my room just as the cleaning was finished. A few minutes later, a staff member even knocked on the door to check if everything was satisfactory with the cleaning, which I assume is part of their quality control. Very impressive! Hotel guests also get a discount when booking the dinner buffet at the front desk.

I often go to Dubai and choose this hotel for the first time, it didn't disappoint me

This place is so convinience, the location in between dubai marina and jbr beach so you can go everywhere by walk. If u drive it’s easy to park and drive as well. The hotel is clean and the staff as well so friendly.

This stay was a disappointment because the hotel pool, which I specifically wanted to experience, was completely unusable for various reasons. It rained continuously for all three days of our stay due to bad weather, and on one day, an orange rainstorm warning was even issued. On top of that, my daughter inexplicably developed a fever on the first night. Although the hotel was very thoughtful and arranged a late check-out on the last day, my daughter hadn't fully recovered. Even when the rain stopped, the sky remained gloomy, and I didn't dare let her swim, which made this trip quite unpleasant. If I couldn't use the hotel pool, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this hotel to celebrate a birthday.

The hotel is located right next to Exit C of Overseas Chinese Town Metro Station, with only a short open-air section. However, if you're pushing a stroller, you need to be extra careful as there are a few steps along the way where you'll have to lift it. To get to the nearest Yitian Holiday Plaza, you need to take one stop to Window of the World, which is a bit inconvenient.

What I liked:

Simple birthday decorations were provided.

Room Quality and Design: The room was spacious and comfortable with a bathtub, and the lighting was easy to adjust. I particularly liked the reading/night light design next to the bed, which was very practical. (It would be even better if disposable bath liners/bags were provided, like in other hotels.)

Excellent Service Attitude: The front desk team provided excellent service, they were friendly and always smiling. I especially want to praise the male staff member in charge of the carousel; he performed magic tricks and managed the facility, all with a very kind service attitude!

Recreational Facilities: The outdoor playground and carousel facilities at the hotel were excellent, and my children had a wonderful time!

Areas for Improvement:

Room Amenities and Facilities: After the room was cleaned, the tea bags were not replenished. For a hotel of your caliber, the attention to detail in amenities is clearly lacking. Additionally, only instant coffee was provided in the room, with no coffee machine or milk, which is slightly inferior compared to other hotels in the same chain (such as Marriott or The OCT Harbour, Shenzhen – Blue Lagoon).

Fruit Quality Control: One of the apples in the welcome fruit platter in the room was rotten to the core when cut open. I hope the hotel can strengthen quality checks before delivering items to rooms to ensure fresh produce is provided!

Insufficient Bed Space: The double bed was relatively narrow, making it quite cramped for one adult and a 10-year-old child to sleep together, severely affecting sleep quality.

Overly Thick Mattress: The mattress thickness was a bit exaggerated, making the bed surface too high and very inconvenient for getting in and out of bed.

Facility Safety and Hygiene: In the small indoor building block playroom next to the outdoor playground, the blocks were slightly worn. I even found instances where the outer layer of some blocks had peeled off, exposing sharp wooden edges, which is very dangerous. Please make sure to strengthen cleaning and maintenance and immediately replace damaged facilities.

I chose to stay at the InterContinental Shenzhen International Exhibition Center for my recent exhibition in Shenzhen, and the entire stay far exceeded my expectations – highly recommended! The hotel boasts a prime location, very close to the exhibition center, making it incredibly convenient for attending events. The overall design is upscale and grand, with a spacious and airy lobby that exudes an artistic ambiance. You can truly feel the quality of a high-end hotel the moment you step inside.

The guest rooms are spacious and bright, starting from 50 square meters, featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer excellent natural light and views. The entire room was spotless and well-maintained, with meticulous attention to detail. The bedding was soft and comfortable, perfect for quick relaxation after a long day. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was equipped with Byredo toiletries, which had a luxurious scent and provided a great washing experience. Smart facilities were easy to use, and the room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep.

The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The 24-hour gym is well-equipped, and the swimming pool has an elegant atmosphere, perfect for exercise and relaxation during leisure time. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, balancing both Chinese and Western dishes, and the quality of the food is excellent, catering to diverse dining preferences.

What impressed me most was the hotel's service. Alfreda from Guest Relations was professional and courteous, and Linda made the check-in and check-out process efficient and smooth. Winnie handled all my requests promptly and effectively, and Chris provided thoughtful service without being intrusive. Whether it was inquiries related to membership or requests for in-room amenities, the team responded quickly, demonstrating their strong commitment to guest experience.

Overall, this hotel is perfect for both business exhibitions and short getaways. The facilities are top-notch, and the service is meticulous and attentive. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar.

The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room.

The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment.

However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍

For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM.

Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊
