I arrived in Shanghai yesterday and headed straight to the hotel. It was super easy to find, right next to the pedestrian bridge, and the transportation was incredibly convenient! The check-in experience was fantastic. Emily at the front desk greeted me warmly; she was very professional. Seeing I had a lot of luggage, she arranged for the concierge to temporarily hold it, and then processed my check-in very efficiently. I believe a perfect stay starts with a smooth check-in, and her attentiveness, along with the hotel's overall excellent service, really impressed me! I'll definitely choose this InterContinental again for my next stay!

We had a family trip during the holidays. Even though the hotel is a bit older, the overall service was excellent, and it had a wonderful Chinese New Year festive atmosphere. Our butler, Teresa, was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic, thinking of everything. She made sure to remind us about all the activities scheduled throughout the holiday. She also helped us get a room upgrade and provided complimentary snacks and fruit. The evening light show was fantastic, enjoyed by both kids and adults. When we checked out, Teresa thoughtfully prepared a small gift for the children, which we greatly appreciated!

The room was quiet and comfortable, and the separate toilet and shower in two individual bathrooms were very practical. The marble hard furnishings in the bathrooms were well-maintained and didn't feel dated. The room layout was also very sensible. Breakfast was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options being excellent. The pan-fried buns and youtiao (fried dough sticks) were especially delicious and served piping hot. On the first day of Chinese New Year, there was even a professional lion dance performance during breakfast, which added to the festive atmosphere. The executive lounge offered a cozy environment for afternoon tea and dinner, with good food and service. The service at all stages was excellent, professional, attentive, proactive, and enthusiastic. Even during the Chinese New Year period, most requests were met, making for a very pleasant stay.

This was an experience that completely exceeded my expectations. The price I booked was very reasonable. Upon arrival, a dedicated person picked us up and helped with our luggage. The check-in process was smooth; they confirmed our information and arranged the room quickly. Breakfast, drinks, and fruit were all well-prepared. The room was clean, and the amenities were stable. They were also very responsive to all our requests. The activities arranged for the Chinese New Year were also rich and varied, truly living up to its reputation. The location is excellent too, making it very convenient to visit attractions like the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), the Bund, Xintiandi, and for shopping. My wife and kids were all very satisfied. We're already thinking that if we come to Shanghai again next Chinese New Year, we'll definitely stay here!

We chose the Ruijin Intercontinental for our Chinese New Year celebrations, and truly enjoyed the Shanghai ambiance. First, a special shout-out to Ms. Selene Hao and Mr. Kyan Liu from the VIP Building lobby. They provided incredibly warm service, assisting us with the entire check-out and luggage storage process.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to many great spots worth exploring (perfect for a 'Citywalk'). While not particularly close to the subway station, it didn't impact us much as we rarely used the metro.

The room cleanliness was good; we didn't find any major issues during our five-day stay. The linens were thick and looked very new. There was also a good selection of pillows.

Breakfast was generally good, though perhaps a little under-supplied due to the Chinese New Year holiday. However, the overall quality was above average, especially the egg station, where the lady working there was very enthusiastic. You do have to queue during peak hours. Most of the time, there wasn't much cooking smell, but sometimes if you were seated near the cooking area, you'd end up smelling a bit smoky. The coffee wasn't very good.

Overall, the hotel's service was standard – neither exceptional nor disappointing.

The hotel is located by the river, offering a panoramic view of both banks, and the night view is absolutely captivating. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the services were satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the abundant buffet, which had a wide variety of choices catering to both Eastern and Western tastes.

I went to Lingang for a conference and stayed at both Hyatt and InterContinental. InterContinental was so much better than Hyatt! First, I got a free upgrade to a balcony room, so we watched the sunrise right from our room – it was absolutely stunning! Second, the room was huge and spotless. For dinner, we ate at Cai Feng Lou, and the staff there were really patient, even though we took a long time to order since it's hard to pick dishes for just two people. Oh, and the lobby bar is gorgeous, and both the coffee and ice cream were delicious! Finally, when I was almost done with breakfast, a staff member asked if everything was satisfactory. I casually mentioned it was good but a shame there was no cantaloupe. To my surprise, a few minutes later, the staff brought over a whole plate of cantaloupe – I was truly touched. I figured on a Tuesday morning, with fewer guests, it was normal for the restaurant to have fewer fruit varieties, so I never expected InterContinental's service to be so thoughtful, haha. I've already highly recommended InterContinental Dishui Lake to all my friends! 😄

The hotel is located at a good location, close to JBR and there a few restaurants and supermarkets located within walking distance! 
 
Most of the staff are very nice and helpful, other than the lady who checked us in! She talked us into upgrading our room to the resident side with a balcony but failed to mention without a bath tub! She didn’t tell us until we already paid for! Now we are stuck into waiting for the whole refund process! 


As for the room we stayed in… the junior suite! The view is still very nice, still can see part of the marina! However, the room is very very dark! It doesn’t have enough lights! 
I can barely do my makeup at night even with all the lights on in the room!  

The bed was too soft for us but apparently you can ask the housekeeping staff to remove some topper to make it more comfortable! However, I do suggest you to bring your own pillows if you want decent sleep! They are way too soft! 

The hotel itself have very limited restaurants! One is the main restaurant located at the lobby! Breakfast options are decent! Another one is located at the 1st floor, is an Italian restaurant called Papa’s the food are amazing and delicious! However it is not part of the restaurant group!

I really liked everything, especially in the evening. You don't have to go anywhere, you can just sit on the embankment. The view from the pool is amazing!

I went there to attend an exhibition at the end of November 24. The beautiful waitress at the front desk arranged for us to stay on the same floor. The rooms were next to each other and the service was in place. The overall facilities were complete and very clean. I could fall asleep without drawing the curtains at night and looking at the night view (I felt that this was the meaning of making money). Next to it was a large supermarket where I could buy all kinds of daily necessities and choose gifts. There were endless taxis when I went out, and the waiter at the door would help you call or intercept them, which was great. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious, with food from various countries and regions. BTW, the egg rolls they made were delicious.

I recently stayed at intercontinental residence suit for four nights and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is a bit far from major attractions and public transport, but if you rent a car (which you most probably would) it's not an issue.

The staff at were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, adding to the hassle-free experience.

The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Amenities such as the flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary Wi-Fi were much appreciated. However, the Wi-Fi was rather slow and there were no electrical outlets near the beds, so we had to ask the front desk for an extension cord, which they kindly provided.

One of the highlights was the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. The dinner menu was equally impressive, with high-quality dishes that showcased the chef's skill.

However, there were a few areas where the hotel could improve.The bathroom was very spacious, but the toilet was very close to the wall. The bathtub had a huge margins which made getting in and out very difficult and dangerous, since there was no handle to hold. The shower also was so close to the wall which considering the huge margin of the tub and the slope of the tub made taking a shower an unpleasant experience.

The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and pool, were well-maintained and inviting. The pool area, in particular, was a great place to relax, though it did get quite crowded at times.

In summary, intercontinental residence suit offers a solid 4-star experience with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to be outstanding. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

I frequently stay at the InterContinental Shenzhen Nanshan, and even though the hotel has been open for some years, it still maintains a great sense of quality. In contrast, the InterContinental Shenzhen Exhibition Centre, despite being newer, didn't quite live up to expectations; its overall performance was just average. However, Linda's thoughtful and attentive service throughout my stay was a saving grace. Her warm attitude and prompt responses made me feel comfortable and at ease, and her excellent service really elevated my overall experience.

The staff's service attitude was really good, especially the outdoor kids' club staff, who were excellent. Breakfast was the most satisfying part. However, the mattress in the room was absolutely terrible. I've never experienced a five-star hotel mattress where the entire bed shakes when one person turns over. Considering that most guests at this hotel are likely families booking this 2-meter king-size bed, those who are light sleepers should seriously reconsider. My husband and I barely slept well.

Also, the Utopia kids' club is split into indoor and outdoor sections, and the fact that the indoor part costs extra is quite off-putting. It feels like an in-house hotel facility, yet guests have to pay an additional 200 RMB to use it. I suggest either using different names or clearly stating that the hotel room only includes access to the outdoor play facilities. In fact, the outdoor section was already great and more than sufficient; even the carousel was free, and there was a building block house. The indoor play area feels like it's purely designed to annoy guests.

First time in Shenzhen, and it was a great experience! My room got upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. The hotel beach is very private and quiet. I was a bit worried about parking, but the staff were very helpful and guided me to a spot. The sea view is fantastic, comparable to what you'd find in Sanya or Wanning, but with much better value than Hainan. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
