A huge shout-out to Manager Young! He's incredibly responsible and on the ball during his shifts, handling issues professionally and efficiently. His demeanor is always friendly and patient. When unexpected situations pop up, he stays cool, calm, and collected, quickly coordinating solutions to keep everything running smoothly. He's genuinely kind and friendly to both colleagues and guests, and his presence really strengthens team morale. We feel so much more at ease knowing he's around! A truly trustworthy and excellent manager.

Five stars, no hesitation! This stay was absolutely perfect, from the ambiance to the service, everything was flawless. It truly is an architectural marvel that you *must* visit at least once in your life. I'm completely captivated after staying here.

The hotel's environment is simply breathtaking! The world's only 88-meter-deep 'pit' hotel lives up to its reputation. Its unique design, built into the cliff face, exudes sophistication. The dynamic water curtain in the lobby is elegant and lively, and a glance out the window reveals stunning cliffside waterfalls. By day, you see the lush green mountains and rocky cliffs in perfect harmony; as evening falls, the lights illuminate, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere. Every corner showcases thoughtful design, incorporating a mining-inspired aesthetic. Every photo you take is magazine-worthy, offering an immersive experience of nature and architecture blending seamlessly. A special highlight was the 8:30 PM cliffside light and water show featuring themes from 'Shan Hai Jing' (Classic of Mountains and Seas) and a drone performance. Light and water intertwined, drones intricately depicted mythical imagery in the sky, and the cliff face transformed with dynamic light and shadow. The visual and auditory impact was incredible, creating an amazing atmosphere. It's an immersive dive into the collision of technology and culture, an experience definitely not to be missed.

The room experience was a delightful surprise! The room design is simple yet grand, with meticulous attention to detail. The sapphire-themed interior felt luxurious. Thoughtful amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and high-end toiletries were provided, and the facilities were comprehensive and modern. The entire room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the independent bathtub and scenic balcony were definite bonuses. Waking up to the natural scenery in the morning was incredibly blissful, making for a perfectly comfortable stay.

The dining experience was a culinary feast! The Chinese restaurant, Cai Feng Lou, lived up to its Black Pearl Restaurant rating. The beef was tender and juicy, and the soup was rich and flavorful. Every dish used high-quality ingredients and had authentic flavors, truly showcasing the essence of Chinese cuisine. The Western restaurant, Fish Eye, had an incredible ambiance, surrounded by an aquarium underwater. The seafood was fresh and sweet, and the Western dishes were exquisite and delicious, both visually appealing and tasty. Whether it was a main meal or a casual snack, everything was incredibly satisfying.

And the service was impeccable! A special shout-out to our exclusive butler, Alice. From communicating our needs before check-in and providing detailed explanations of the facilities upon arrival, to offering thoughtful reminders and responding to requests throughout our trip, she was patient, attentive, and incredibly thorough. She anticipated every need, making the entire journey feel so warm and cared for. All the hotel staff were also enthusiastic and professional. The bellhops proactively helped with luggage, and the restaurant staff were attentive and meticulous. You could feel their genuine service attitude everywhere you went. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic.

This stay was comprehensively satisfying. The environment, rooms, dining, and service all exceeded expectations. It's definitely a top choice for a vacation or getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟

An excellent stay in every aspect. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always attentive to every detail. The level of service was outstanding, from the spotless cleanliness of the rooms to the efficiency of the room service.

The breakfast was absolutely magnificent, with a wide variety of high-quality options and impeccable presentation. Every request was handled with care and a genuine smile.

What truly made the difference was the extraordinary kindness of the staff. When I needed to check my child’s temperature, they immediately brought a thermometer to our room without hesitation. This small but thoughtful gesture made us feel truly cared for.

The basic service level and personalized touches need significant improvement. Check-in was slow, and the front desk staff didn't even make eye contact with guests, let alone offer a smiling service (which, to be fair, might be asking too much with so many people daily). I've always thought welcome fruit was a standard offering at hotels of this caliber, but there was nothing, even though guests might not always eat it. And don't even get me started on the basic children's playground; I didn't see one. During check-in, they didn't offer any upgrades or complimentary services, and I wasn't expecting them; I believe in getting what you pay for. But they didn't even fulfill the most basic duty of informing me about things like breakfast buffet times and location; I had to ask about everything myself. If I had to pick one thing worth praising, it would be the most dedicated person in the lobby: the handsome, somewhat white-haired 'grandpa' from the concierge team. Whenever I passed by, he was always alert and observant. The moment you looked at him, he'd immediately smile and acknowledge you, as if he was constantly ready to assist. He's incredibly professional; even if you have no request and are just passing through, he'll briefly make eye contact, and if he sees you have no needs, he'll continue scanning the lobby for other guests, always maintaining an excellent work ethic. Thumbs up to him! 👍

Overall, compared to other InterContinental hotels or their sister brands like Hualuxe, Kimpton, or Voco in other cities, this stay was quite disappointing.

I chose this InterContinental for my first stop in Shanghai, where I plan to spend a week and celebrate New Year's Eve at Disneyland. The location is excellent, not far from Huaihai Middle Road, West Nanjing Road, and Xintiandi; most places are within a 30-minute walk. The hotel environment is also very good, with a regularly maintained lawn, although it looks a bit plain this season due to the cold weather. It would probably be much nicer in spring or autumn. The service from the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping was all great. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the facilities are quite old. The room air conditioning was so hot I couldn't sleep, and both the carpet and curtains looked a bit dated. The overhead shower dripped occasionally, making noise in the middle of the night, which, combined with the AC temperature, made for two nights of rather poor sleep. The bathtub, however, is very large, and it was quite comfortable to soak in with my own bath bomb. Aside from the outdated facilities and the rather mediocre afternoon tea at the lounge (breakfast and happy hour were excellent), everything else was really good. You can't beat this location. It's convenient for places like Xin Rong Ji and charming old houses, though the garden lighting is a bit dim when returning at night. I even saw a cute cat sunbathing during the day!

The hotel was fully booked on New Year's Day, and I had to wait an hour for a clean room to check in. This was unexpected, as the hotel is quite old and the facilities were a bit worse than I imagined. I'd suggest a renovation, or at least replacing the overly small sink and the showerhead – the water pressure wasn't great, making showers a bit cold. The toilet also wasn't smart, couldn't heat up, and the lid slammed down loudly without a soft-close function. The air conditioning in the room also wasn't strong enough for heating.

However, the buffet was indeed quite good. They had unlimited hairy crabs and the roasted lamb chops were authentic. I didn't have room for the cold food section, but they had dragon fruit sticky rice and taro ball cold soup, which showed good attention to detail. For kids, there were various gummy candies, popcorn, rock chocolates, and a chocolate fountain. The cakes and other desserts were particularly amazing, the cookies were delicious, and the whole wheat bread was very fragrant. The Southeast Asian section had authentic flavors; the Indian food and roti were comparable to what I had at the Holiday Inn in Singapore. I didn't try the pho, but it was very popular, and the person cooking it was a Southeast Asian who spoke Chinese. My only disappointment was that by the end, there were no ice cream scoops or coffee to-go cups left. I personally witnessed an 'Ayi' (auntie) from Shanghai taking a huge stack of coffee cups, which frankly was a bit embarrassing for us Shanghainese. I can understand that the staff couldn't say much even if they saw it, as business was good, but I hope they can keep up with supplies. Overall, for a cold holiday, being able to eat and shower met basic needs, and I appreciate the service provided by the hotel.

I went to Lingang for a conference and stayed at both Hyatt and InterContinental. InterContinental was so much better than Hyatt! First, I got a free upgrade to a balcony room, so we watched the sunrise right from our room – it was absolutely stunning! Second, the room was huge and spotless. For dinner, we ate at Cai Feng Lou, and the staff there were really patient, even though we took a long time to order since it's hard to pick dishes for just two people. Oh, and the lobby bar is gorgeous, and both the coffee and ice cream were delicious! Finally, when I was almost done with breakfast, a staff member asked if everything was satisfactory. I casually mentioned it was good but a shame there was no cantaloupe. To my surprise, a few minutes later, the staff brought over a whole plate of cantaloupe – I was truly touched. I figured on a Tuesday morning, with fewer guests, it was normal for the restaurant to have fewer fruit varieties, so I never expected InterContinental's service to be so thoughtful, haha. I've already highly recommended InterContinental Dishui Lake to all my friends! 😄

Excellent modern hotel. The lobby is modern and quiet. Very welcoming staff from the bell hop to the check in. The room was a bit small but very well appointed. The floor to ceiling glass with great views of the marina made up for the small room. The bathroom was very clean and great water pressure.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of options for every taste. 
Highly recommended to explore the marina. Take a cruise, or go shopping or dining right at the footsteps of the hotel.

I regret not being able to see the inside of Burj Khalifa when I traveled to Dubai 6 years ago, so I came back. The location is not bad, but the design of the vehicle entrance and exit is strange, so drivers have a hard time finding it. Also, I asked for extra ketchup after ordering room dining, and it took an hour, but other than that, it was fine.

The location is very close to the airport, which is very convenient. The hotel is connected to a comprehensive shopping mall, which can meet some shopping and dining needs. Parking is convenient and you can see the Burj Khalifa from a distance.

I recently stayed at intercontinental residence suit for four nights and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is a bit far from major attractions and public transport, but if you rent a car (which you most probably would) it's not an issue.

The staff at were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, adding to the hassle-free experience.

The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Amenities such as the flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary Wi-Fi were much appreciated. However, the Wi-Fi was rather slow and there were no electrical outlets near the beds, so we had to ask the front desk for an extension cord, which they kindly provided.

One of the highlights was the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. The dinner menu was equally impressive, with high-quality dishes that showcased the chef's skill.

However, there were a few areas where the hotel could improve.The bathroom was very spacious, but the toilet was very close to the wall. The bathtub had a huge margins which made getting in and out very difficult and dangerous, since there was no handle to hold. The shower also was so close to the wall which considering the huge margin of the tub and the slope of the tub made taking a shower an unpleasant experience.

The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and pool, were well-maintained and inviting. The pool area, in particular, was a great place to relax, though it did get quite crowded at times.

In summary, intercontinental residence suit offers a solid 4-star experience with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to be outstanding. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

Traveling with three friends this time, our stay at this hotel was absolutely divine! The room was spacious and airy, perfectly comfortable for four people without feeling cramped. What truly amazed us was the stand-alone bathtub. After a day of exploring, a hot bath with the complimentary aromatherapy bath bomb completely melted away our fatigue. The tub was spotless, showing incredible attention to detail. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep every night.

The hotel's facilities were also outstanding. The heated swimming pool had crystal-clear water and a comfortable temperature – perfect for a fun swim with friends. The gym was well-equipped with brand-new machines, catering to both cardio and strength training. A hot shower after a workout was the icing on the cake.

The dining experience far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, from Chinese congee, noodles, and dim sum to Western bread and coffee, plus fresh squeezed juices – all made with fresh, delicious ingredients. For dinner, we ordered specialty dishes at the Chinese restaurant. They were beautifully presented, generously portioned, and authentically flavorful.

What truly deserves special praise are the staff members. From check-in to any daily requests, they were consistently warm and attentive. They proactively helped with luggage and recommended local eateries, making us feel genuinely cared for. Overall, this hotel is impeccable, from its amenities to its service. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Shenzhen. It is family focused, very clean, rooms are spacious, food is good (especially the breakfast) & there is PLENTY to keep young people occupied. The man-made beach is a HIT for kids and adults alike (complete with pirate ship and swim up bar). We didn’t know that the Chinese Cultural Village is next door & you can access it from this hotel if you have tickets. We will be doing that next time & we will be back! The best hotel we have stayed in since arriving in Shenzhen!

Our sea-view room offered incredibly soothing ocean vistas right from the window, and the service was attentive with every detail meticulously covered. The hotel's photography service was a delightful surprise; the photographer was professional and knew all the best angles. The infinity pool and beach boardwalk provided fantastic backdrops for epic shots, perfect for sharing on social media straight from the camera. A top choice for a getaway!

2. I highly recommend the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha! Our stay was perfect from start to finish. You step right onto the beach, the pool views are magnificent, and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I especially want to commend the photography service; they chose excellent spots and captured moments perfectly. They covered everything from sunset by the sea to the hotel's most Instagrammable spots. The final photos were high-end and flawless, making the whole experience hassle-free and yielding amazing results. Definitely a must-revisit!
