"It was nothing special. Basic room. Shower was a bit slippery."

Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa

Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa ★★★★★

📍 La Corniche, Bd Abdelhamid El Kadhi, Sousse Medina

"A professionally run five star hotel at the center of sousse. Interior design in the hotel is impressive and eye-catching. Flawless cleaning service. Rooms are immaculate, furniture is new. We stayed there three nights, and had room service every day without an interuption, which was great. Staffs are friendly and welcoming, especially those working at the reception. Muhammed was extremely professional, has resolved a couple of issues pretty quickly. He was so kind, he allowed us late check out as our flight was running in the evening. Food was delicious and was enough for us. We loved their freshly made smoothie in the breakfast and in the dinner."

Hôtel Medina
8.3 (18 reviews)

Hôtel Medina

📍 15, Rue Othman Osman, Sousse Medina

"I stayed for a total of four nights, in two different rooms. This time, I stayed in the annex building, where no one passed by, which was an advantage compared to the poor soundproofing of the main building. The shower was also better than in the main building rooms; at least it had a high faucet, so I didn't have to hold it to rinse."

Marhaba Royal Salem - Family Only

Marhaba Royal Salem - Family Only ★★★★

📍 Marhaba Royal Salem، Boulevard du 14 Janvier, Sousse

"European resorts are all white families. It seems that every room is a family suite, with two single beds in the living room and three single beds in the bedroom, but only one bathroom and toilet. There are kitchen facilities, but no tableware or kitchenware. Breakfast and dinner are both buffets, and you can eat with the wristband given when you check in."

El Ksar Resort & Spa – Family Hotel Hotels in Sousse

El Ksar Resort & Spa – Family Hotel

"First of all I’ll highlight this is not my first holiday to this continent nor this country. However, this will be my last trip to Tunisia. This hotel certainly isn’t the 4* it is advertised as, more of a 2*+ On arrival we paid the tourist tax which we were aware of prior to landing, no problem. We then filled out the visitor visa type sheets for each guest. (Time consuming when there is 6 of you) we were told at 11:30am that if we went and had a drink in the bar and headed for lunch, our room would be ready for when we got back. 1pm comes with a very unhappy baby who was hot & tired from travelling, still no room. We sat in reception with a screaming baby waiting for our rooms for another 30 mins. There appears to be no rush for check in. Wheelchair and pushchair users beware, this isn’t a completely accessible hotel, access to the pool from any direction is only via steps which is a nightmare. First full day, we have breakfast and then head to reception to ask about pool towels. Reception tells us they are located at the spa and are charged at 20DT per towel. We go to spa and are told they are 30DT and have gone up in price since last week. Firstly this is the only hotel I’ve known that charge for towels (however it is refunded on last day) most other hotels have a chip or towel card which you are given at check in. This is a gateway for towel theft more than anything else. The all inclusive here is a rip off really. The local beer is fine but the bar is just bottled local spirits and these are served in plastic beakers or card board cups. Never have I been served cocktails like this before. Some of the drinks aren’t included in the all inclusive either. The food is mediocre and can get repetitive quickly. The desserts are good however. I can imagine that in the busy summer months the buffet restaurant is a nightmare as there just doesn’t appear to be anywhere near enough food stations for the amount of guests. This results in lengthy queues which resemble school dinner lines. There is one bar serving drinks for the whole hotel (outside of the dinner restaurant) so if you’re at the beach be prepared to walk back to the hotel for a drink) there is no food available outside of set meal times either. So much for all inclusive. Definitely the worst I have ever been to. Ali baba (excursion rep) oh lord, how I didn’t lose my temper with him just on day one I will never know. He is relentless, an actual pest and he will harass you. He also charges well above average, please look elsewhere for a better deal. Animation team, well this was great the day of arrival and day one. Very friendly and have a lot of good interaction with the kids. However, the head of animation got a little to over friendly with my 18 year old daughter to the point she felt very uncomfortable which has left her feeling anxious at his presence. Also not a lot going on around the pool just an hour in the morning and the afternoon. The pool isn’t big enough to accommoda"

"Well where do I start The food awful gaza eat bette. They rude argumentative. The men look at my daughters and perve over them. The women in the hamman just on there phones. The room looks like midnight express film. The bathroom is dirty and so back dated. I will say only north African continent go to agadir. The dream beach hotel is a nightmare like a dream from Freddie krueger. Please please do not spend your money heretic picture lies. Love holidays are liars I will go with even tui now paythat little extra. For sanity and happiness."

Jinene Hotel Hotels in Sousse

Jinene Hotel

"Title: JINENE RESORT SOUSSE: A NIGHTMARE STAY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Rating: 1/5 ⭐️ 1. Hygiene and Room Conditions (Health Hazards) Unsanitary Rooms: Upon arrival, the rooms were disgusting. Carpeting was everywhere, including under mattresses, making it a breeding ground for dust mites. Cleanliness: Stained bed sheets, electrical outlets with exposed wires. Housekeeping was extremely superficial. Health Impact: My daughter, who is asthmatic, suffered a severe asthma attack and broke out in a rash on the very first day due to the poor hygiene. Lack of Equipment: The hotel's vacuum cleaner is broken, and the staff lacks basic supplies. (Only the 5th-floor cleaning lady was professional and kind). AC and Plumbing: Air conditioning only works in about 1 out of 40 rooms. Flushing mechanisms were frequently broken. 2. Failing Infrastructure Elevators: Old, dangerous, and frequently breaking down. By the middle of our stay, only one elevator was operating for the entire hotel. Reception: No air conditioning in the lobby, making it unbearably hot. 3. Misleading "All-Inclusive" Dining Food Quality: Inedible food with zero taste. Meat was cooked with baking soda, causing constant stomach bloating. Monotony: The same menu every single day (rice, potatoes, leftovers of beef/chicken). No traditional Tunisian dishes were served, which is a shame for the country. Service: Service was non-existent. Guests have to set their own tables. Rationing: No water or drinks served at the table. You have to walk to the back of the restaurant or the bar, where water is rationed in 500ml bottles and you are forced to provide your room number. 4. Entertainment and Staff Behavior Entertainment: Non-existent. Guests actually had to take the initiative to organize their own entertainment and bring in an outside entertainer to show the staff how to do their jobs. Toxic Staff: Shameful behavior from some staff members, particularly animators like Lolita Anah, who were cold, rude, and unmotivated. Extortion: Some staff members openly demanded money from guests (e.g., hundreds of euros requested just to let a guest sing). Note: The hotel manager was sympathetic about some things, but this does not redeem this miserable hotel. Most guests ended up ordering food from outside. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE."

Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"Overall, it was a good experience. We had contacted before arriving asking for an early check-in due to traveling with a 2 year old, but no rooms were available. The room was brilliant, and they delivered a cot straight away when we got in there. The pool was great for the little one. Drinks were fairly prompt. When going back to the room, various appliances were not working. A quick word with reception, and someone was there immediately and fixed it all. Someone then came to check 30 minutes later (great service). Had room service. Mixed our order up but they came quick enough and apologized. Salad was tasty, but the jambon and cheese sandwich had no cheese. Breakfast had a good range. Fresh omelets were nice but wish I could have had fresh scrambled eggs."

Hôtel Medina ★
"The hotel is in the center of the Médina so extremely convenient. The room is acceptable, not the cleanest, my bed sheet has some stain but with this price i wont be complaining. The breakfast included is basic but included everything we needed. Extra compliment to the receptionist! Extremely helpful and kind."

Hotel Maravilla Sousse ★★★
"Disgusting experience, everything dirty and malfunctioning - tv broken, fridge broken so no cool water with 47 degrees outside, no working AC, shower malfunctioning. We changed room 4 times and staff was very fed up with us, giving us mad faces and attitude when it's their fault they don't have nothing working. So called "Hotel" is absolutely disgusting, we had the worst time and I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy Had to pay double for a room with a sea view even though when I booked it said it was included in that room"

"It is perfect for seaside vacations. In fact, it is several hotel clusters of the same group. Swimming, playing ball, fitness, and evening arts and crafts evenings, many activities. If three meals are included, you can eat anytime. Hygiene: Occasionally there will be a small cockroach crawling on the bread 🍞 in the restaurant, of course the restaurant waiter quickly pinches it to death."
