"Lovely stay here, 7 nights all inclusive. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Was given an upgrade to an accessible room as bungalow booked was difficult to manage. Guest relations lady was quick to help in all situations and very friendly and informative. Lovely pool and beach area and Sammy the lifeguard was very caring and quick to react to a safety issue when a little girl slipped into the deeper part of the pool. He jumped in immediately and scooped her out and placed her safely into her parents arms. I would certainly return to this hotel again in the near future. Thank you all ."

"Firstly for the money we paid it was ok for a week. Lovely helpful staff throughout. Indoor heated swimming pool was good . Our room was spacious overlooking the pool and also part sea view from balcony. so pretty quiet. However we heard that guests in rooms overlooking the beach were woken early by cockerels. On arrival noticed cigarette smoke in lounge/bar/reception area. There are tables marked no smoking in lobby but you are still hit by smoke and have to go into the smoking bar to get drinks. The food was presented well but temperature of food was a concern, food barely warm but a microwave was available to heat our food. Breakfast there were omelettes/pancakes or fried eggs cooked to order which was good. The meals at lunch were very repetitive. Fizzy drinks at bar were flat but fizzy in dining room were bubbly. Our week coincided with Ramadan so restricted opening times of places outside but two shops up on the left were open and are a treasure trove. To sum up we had a good week, met friendly people and had a nice break for the money. The hotel has two parts, the other was having complete renovation which I believe was why areas in the grounds were a bit unkempt. However on our last date rubbish was being cleared and gardens were being tended to. Hopefully the Management will spend some time renovating this part once the renovation is complete end of April on the other part. Some tlc is all that's needed. We were advised by the lovely Guest relations lady that all feedback is being taken to Management who are wanting to improve so looking positive. If you want a cheap break (just over £220 one week AI) and don't expect 4* you can't go wrong. It is a third world country."

The staff are really friendly, beautiful sea views from the balcony, Hotel room is cleaned everyday, I think people are expecting 5 stars on a budget who complain. Nothing to do in the evenings around this area, if you're European mind. Taxis are cheap enough to go to the centre of Sousse though "

"The rooms are dirty and damp, bath towels are lying on the floor, cigarette butts were found in the toilet, the mattress is rock hard, and there's no Wi-Fi. The overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and a damp smell pervades the air. The general lack of floor maintenance is simply conducive to the spread of disease. Add to that the staff's lack of professionalism and arrogance."

"For context, my family and I and I have regularly holiday across Tunisia and regularly use three star hotels, so this review is written from a point of view that we were not expecting the world. However, what we did not expect was a poorly run hotel, with no care or love from any member of staff. This may however be due to the fact that the hotel has clearly been left with little investment, the staff appear to have been there for a number of years and are on their knees due to complaints. The rooms had no working air-conditioning and did not include a fridge or hairdryer. Although set up for three people, we had to argue to get towels. The cleaning staff did a bare minimum job finally changing the bedding on day nine but only once we had stripped the beds and put the sheets outside the door to give them little option. The food was bland at best, often De-ann mostly inedible. Every other night a random spice seems to be added to every dish making them inedible. There is no air-conditioning anywhere in the hotel that works. The lift did not work for the majority of our stay. Not ideal if you’re on the fifth floor and the temperatures are 40° and above. Unlike a review I read previously, the hotel do not provide pool towels so please ensure you take them! If you do decide to still travel, please ensure you post your reviews to warn others"

"I would not recommend this hotel. Areas of the hotel very tired, cutlery in the restaurant throughout hotel and sister hotel seem to be an issue. Arrived at hotel around 11pm with no room ready for us! Travelling as a family and had emailed the hotel prior to arrival for rooms next door to each other, this did not happen. Next issue was the lack of air conditioning throughout the hotel, our room was over 28 degrees! Food is terrible and very much the same each night. Pool area is great for kids but lots of broken sunbeds and dirty plates and cups hanging around. Such a shame as it could be so much nicer. Will not be returning!"

"We were a little worried because we had trouble checking in on the day we arrived. The owner only spoke French, and we wished they could speak at least a little English. We stayed for four days, and the room was never cleaned. We asked for towels to be changed daily, but they only changed them once. We stayed in a room on the second floor, and we had to carry our suitcases up ourselves. Because of the language barrier, we ended up solving all the problems and gathering information ourselves. The fourth photo is of a botakri café in the medina. Be careful! We didn't know that all the shops in the medina close after 5 pm during the off-season. The café in the fourth photo was the only one open, so we went in hoping to get a light meal. There was no English menu, and the only French words we could read were pizza and coffee. The pizza was 15d and the coffee was 3.5d. I ordered a glass of juice for 6d, so the total should have been 24.5 (1318 yen), but when I paid, they demanded 56d (3012 yen). Something felt wrong, so I asked them to bring the menu again. The staff explained that what we ordered wasn't on the menu and had been bought from outside. At that moment, I was surrounded by men from the restaurant, and the atmosphere was a bit intimidating, so I quickly paid and left. The next day, I ordered the same thing from the pizza place that had bought it for us, and it cost 7.5d (404 yen) plus a glass of juice for 2d (108 yen). There are plenty of good people out there, so please be careful with taxis and restaurants."
