My wife and I spent 7 amazing nights here! The resort has everything, you don’t even have to leave! You can catch a 45 minute cab ride to port denaru for some adventure experiences of course, but so much to do here. Isikeli and Jim - as well everyone else at the water sports area were awesome! The 5 hr cruise with snorkel and wave runner safaris were definitely worth it. Joey over at the fish bar is great and pours some good drinks. Missi and Adam with activities also some great people to run into for a soccer game on the beach. Marcus was the friendliest person to run into everywhere at the resort throughout the day. Simon at the front lobby will help square you away with whatever you need. We had a lagoon view bure which was a home away from not wanting to go back home. Walk right into the lagoon from the beach or sit on your balcony while reading a book. All in all could not recommend this resort more. Safest part of the trip is was having to leave.

After getting rained out on another island we saw sunshine on Nadi so we changed our flight & were so blessed to get same day accommodations here. The wow factor starts with the short boat ride over to the island where you are instantly greeted with the biggest smiles & friendliest staff. We loved it all- the live music, Fijian night, pool table, swim up bar, relaxing overlooking the ocean, & the best breakfast. This location is an easy 30 minutes to the airport or Denaru marina which we utilized for a day trip to island hop. This is a beautiful island dripping in colorful flowers & dreamy palm trees everywhere. My only negative comment is there is a severely malnourished mare here that was being ridden. Both of the mares that had foals were underweight but she was all bones & it was heartbreaking. Please stop letting people ride these horses until they get up to a safe body weight & if they’re being fed “properly” than have her teeth checked out. Even while nursing a foal there is no reason a horse should ever be in that condition.

We had a great stay. Staff was friendly and accomodating to our needs including carrying out heavy luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. They even allowed our visitors in which I find very rare. They also carried our food up to our balcony which was great. We had the Sunset suite at the very top - awesome view! Our room was nice and clean, super nice air con in the room and lounge area. Really nice kitchen area with a massive new fridge. Very convenient with the supermarket up the road and beachfront to chill. The ocean was sooo nice and hot to swim in. Downfall: Some of the levels smell like damp, wet carpet and was really bad . Some of our dishes were so dirty and their were cockroaches in the toaster, microwave and jug. Would be great to have a volley ball net on the beach and some activities on offer for guests such as horse riding & snorkelling etc. Also some entertainment would be great as the music next door was the only entertainment we got but sometimes it was far too loud that we couldn’t sleep. There was no fire show or kava ceremony and we were looking forward to that! The food at the ghost ship bar was really good especially the pizza and curry dishes! Be good if reception could help guests find the best taxi prices as some Of the locals that stand on the road really take advantage of travellers and charge you the world. We did have a great stay in the end! I would recommend this if you want to stay near town, the airport and want to experience outside of Denarau. Denarau did get boring for me sometimes so I liked this experience this time around.

Booked this hotel because I had an early flight the next day. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 bathrooms, with a kitchen and cooking utensils, but we have never used them. Because this hotel is obviously not popular enough, it was already evening when I checked in. I walked through the dark corridor to the second floor and checked in to this room. A musty smell came over my face. The security guard came in and quickly turned on the air conditioner. There were a lot of bugs in the room, and the bathroom door was not very good. Anyway, just stay for one night and just bear with it. The only thing worth recommending is that there is a super center around. There are supermarkets and many restaurants in it. It is very popular. Even when we went out at 5 o'clock in the morning, there were still many people in the square.

This is the best hotel with Fijian siging at breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour and post happy hour. I just loved the vibe. The staff are superb. The night manager, tall IndoFijian bloke, found my wallet Where I had dropped It with about 20,000RRMB in It and he returned It intact. Just trully love this hotel staff witn signature Fiji smiles and hospitality. I highly highly recommend it.

The service is still relatively warm, the food is good in various hotels, the park is beautiful, suitable for vacations - facilities need to be updated... quite like, very comfortable environment, but if you don't set it in advance, there will be no room. ..

The hotels in NADI are generally expensive and shabby, about the same as those in China at RMB 150-60, but the staff are very nice. Even if there is no elevator, I can help you carry your luggage. You can also change the single room to a double room. Fortunately, there is no tipping during the performance at night. The location is not bad. It is about 10 minutes away from the airport. There is also a supermarket and several restaurants nearby.

advantage:
1. There is free airport pick-up service, and the pick-up service attitude is also good. 2. The hotel is right outside the business district, where you can apply for local phone cards, shop in supermarkets, and eat in restaurants.
shortcoming:
1. The hotel is too old, and the furniture is basically at the level of domestic guest houses in the 1990s. There are always some minor problems with the items in the room. Either the TV has no signal, the bathroom is leaking, or there are old stains on the sheets that cannot be washed away.
2. Breakfast is too simple

Reception comes with a warm welcome, then the real thing started.
Finding a room with Aircond took 1 hour.
In an area with no taxi, reception often mark up $10 for calling one for you.
No food or store around, hotel food close at 6pm.
There is thief trying to get in and knock on doors from 8pm to 1am. They are led by security to check if no one then open the door to search for valuables.
Reception and a strong guy knock on the door at 1am and told me to pay again by cash because my previous payment card denied. I show them my credit debit record, and refused to be rip off.
There is bed bugs and cockroach in the room as well as on the bed.
Water from tab is yellow.
Given 2 small soap, no shampoo, no others
I would suggest to take something with free airport pick up. Never recommend this hotel as it’s a rip off.

We arrived in Nadi one day in the evening, tired and quite affected by the humid heat that reigns on the island. When we arrived at the hotel they prepared us something for dinner since the restaurant was already closed but it was more than enough. After dinner, we were informed that the covid regulations in Fiji require us to do an antigen test before going out. We were unaware of these regulations so we were left without knowing how to act, we had just arrived in an unknown country, our level of English is very limited and we saw everything very *****. The hotel director, seeing us so nervous, offered to solve the antigen test procedure for us and told us not to worry, that he would organize everything for the next day. The next morning, after having breakfast, some nurses came to the hotel, gave us the test and in 30 minutes we had the corresponding official certificate to be able to travel around the country. But the hotel director's work does not end here. Afterwards he asked us what route we wanted to take and he checked all the hotel reservations we had made and gave us the tickets for the necessary ferries. At no extra cost. They also provided us with the pick-up transfers upon return from the islands and the transfer to the airport...this did have an additional cost but it was worth it for the effectiveness with which everything agreed was fulfilled. This hotel is a family business and apart from the hotel service, it offers a travel agency service at practically no additional cost and after having spent two weeks and visited 4 different islands with their corresponding trips we have to appreciate the service provided. Oh, I forgot, on the last day, before returning to Sydney, and on the way to the airport, they took us to a clinic where they gave us the antivirus test to be able to enter Australia and they gave us the official certificate. Better service or you could ask for

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at the Fiji Gateway hotel! The rooms were clean and in great condition and the showers had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water - perfect for helping us relax as we continued our trip. As opposed to other hotel rooms in Fiji, the air conditioning worked great and the safe in the room was in good working condition - something that is always important for protecting your valuables and travel documents. This was a perfect place for us to stay when we had to fly out of Nadi airport for our flight to the island of Taveuni. On this night, we ate at the restaurant which had excellent, friendly staff and good food. But the thing we remember the most about this hotel were the 2 live musicians Igenasio and Joape who play in the bar and restaurant. During our meal, I kept pausing and saying to my wife, ”listen to this awesome music”! Just about every day for the rest of our trip I kept saying to my wife, ”did I say how awesome those musicians at the Fiji Gateway hotel were?” On our final night in Fiji, just before we went to Nadi airport, we went back to the Fiji Gateway hotel to see if Igenasio and Joape were playing in the restaurant and bar area. Guess what? They were! I was beyond excited to see them and told them that we came back to the hotel just to find them. They did not disappoint and played 2 songs that we requested as well as songs requested by others. They are a great duo and they complement each other with their lead singing and harmony. We'll always remember this final night in Fiji at the Gateway Hotel!
GGuest UserIts business suites - includes kitchen and laundry in room. Always great to have these services. Beach isnt much, think walk along rather than swim. This is one of 3-4 hotels in a row beachfront. Guests primarily those passing thru to islands, backpackers and groups. The hotels’ beachfront bars were quiet during week in May but came alive for weekend. Restaurant on top floor had great views. Service very slow in restaurants of all these hotels. Staff very helpful and friendly.
GGuest UserThe staff was friendly. We booked a Family Villa through Tripadvisor Plus for 2 nights. Our flight on Fiji air was scheduled to arrive at 6AM in the morning. They held the room for us and it was ready when we arrived at 7AM. Room was ground level. The staff moved us to a Villa closer to the dining and pool because my wife walks with a cane and a shorter walking distance is better for her. Room was clean and spacious. I would stay again.
GGuest UserWe had already had an idea that the rooms would be dated from the reviews. So expected as much and weren't fussed about our stay, given the price hence why we 4 stars as prob can do with an upgrade. We were on the ground floor and we didn't have any bugs in our room. Cleaning was pretty good. One of the cleaners who had returned to work there in the last few months was REALLY amazing at his job. The restaurant food was really good we had no complaints, so dined there quite a bit. Rosie's onsite were also really helpful when we booked activities. But the staff are what make this place such a great atmosphere to be at. The bar staff Eroni (Rhonda) and Vasiti were AMAZING. Super helpful to give you advice and what to look out for. We would recommend the place based on the staff
GGuest UserBE AWARE: you may not actually be booking at Bamboo Travellers. I booked with Bamboo Backpackers/Travellers and they directed me to check on down the street at a place called BlueWater Lodge, which is where I actually stayed. Very confusing check-in process because they didn't clarify that I would actually be staying in a different property. The Bamboo Travellers place itself didn't seem to look at all like the pictures here or have any of the activities described - very run-down building, no bar, etc. I'm not actually confident that anyone was staying there (may have just been the checkin desk). At the BlueWater Lodge, the private room was fine - about what you'd expect for a private room in a hostel. Comfortable enough, though very smelly bathroom. It's a bit of a walk from the beach. Just disappointed and confused that I didn't actually stay at the place I booked... they clearly need to update their info on booking sites & website so people don't have to go through the same confusing process. I checked out the places that are actually on the beach and Smugglers Cove seemed pretty good and similarly low-priced. They have fire shows in the evening too at the beach restaurant. Next time would stay there or the Ramada.
AAnonymous UserClub Fiji Resort is located approximately 8 kilometers from Nadi Airport, a taxi journey takes approximately 15 minutes and costs approximately FJD 25. There are no shops or infrastructure in the vicinity of the resort, so we decide to stay overnight here and choose the resort's offer. At check-in, an account is opened and you can use the restaurant, pizzeria and bar, and pay everything upon departure. The resort offers dormitories, garden view cottages, ocean view cottages and new premium rooms. I decided on a house with a view of the ocean, on the first line. When you wake up in the morning, you can see palm trees and the ocean outside the window, as well as peace and quiet. The resort has two swimming pools and a large private beach. There is no WiFi in the houses by the Ocean, it is only at the bar and it works differently. The houses have a comfortable bed, sofa, bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. Sample prices in the bar: beer - 12 FJD, cocktail 20-40 FJD, medium pizza 30 FJD. In the breakfast offer - breakfast includes toasted bread, butter, jams, scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, milk, coffee, tea, cereals, and fruit.
GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed at Nalagi Hotel for 1 night as we had an early flight out and it was close to the airport and relatively cheap. Our room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. We ate at the rooftop bar which has spectacular views and a big swimming pool. Very comfortable transit hotel if you want to be close to the airport when coming from other tourist areas. (Nadi not a tourist destination for us). The concierge called a taxi for us in the morning and it cost $20FJD to the airport.
GGuest UserLocation is perfect and the staff are amazing. Reception was super helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our 4 day stay however, we were hit with a VAT tax of FJD$495 on top of our bill. That shocked us as we didn't realise this would be an additional charge. I'm trying to see where I can contact the Manager to query this, however I can't find any details on how to make contact.
