When traveling, choosing a sea-view room often comes with the fear of 'what you see isn't what you get' or poor value for money. However, this stay completely exceeded my expectations—for a mid-range price, I got the 'view + comfort + convenience' trifecta. Students, budget travelers, or anyone looking for a practical vacation, go for it! The location is truly impeccable. Just a 300-meter walk to the beach, and opening the window reveals an unobstructed, first-line sea view, with no awkward buildings or trees blocking the way. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, with the mountains (or coastline) framed perfectly with the sea. Even phone pictures look like wallpapers. What's more surprising are the surrounding amenities: a convenience store downstairs and direct transport to popular attractions, balancing the romance of the sea view with the convenience of a city walk. The room amenities far exceeded the price expectation: the 1.8-meter king-size bed was so soft, melting away all travel fatigue after just one night. The 180-degree panoramic window maximized the sea view, and all basic facilities were complete, including a wet/dry separation bathroom, free WiFi, and clean bedding. It was incredibly friendly for tourists staying for a few days, completely lacking the perfunctory feel of a budget hotel. I compared it with other hotels in the same area, and this one is at least 20% cheaper, but the view and comfort are not compromised in the slightest. It doesn't aim for luxurious decor but perfects the core needs of 'sea view, convenience, and a good night's sleep.' Every penny is well spent here. I will definitely choose this place again next time; it's the ultimate high-value sea-view room!

AAbdur Rab (India)Perfect stay and the hotel was very near to airport shuttle was on time. The private car with the driver greeted me well and took me very comfortably to the hotel. The hotel reception front desk was very very good and they gave me a free upgrade and also provided lots of amenities. amenities that you won’t even expect in 4 start property. It’s a very good hotel in this price. I think it is Worth more even two times that you are paying for a perfect stay in shot. If you are looking for a transit near hotel or any property near the airport, I think it is one of the best. It has a supermarket just opposite to a Chinese restaurant beside KFC beside. There is only one Drawback that you have three stairs to the lift & and I felt water pressure was a little less. That’s all, so if you have heavy luggage, you need someone to help, and in this case, the driver who picking me up from the airport, picked up my luggage, all the way from the car loaded and unloaded and into the lift, so I think I don’t have any words to express how happy I am with this. You will not regret it if you book this property.

GGuest UserI booked it because it was remodeled, clean, spacious, and the facilities looked good. The facilities were clean, the location was good, and the breakfast was delicious.
But I had a hard time staying there because of the smell of cigarettes ㅠㅠ It was even harder because I was with a child.
If you really need a non-smoking room ㅠㅠ .... Think about somewhere else.
As soon as I entered the room in the evening, the smell of cigarettes was so bad that I told the front desk. They showed me several rooms to move my room, which I was very thankful for.
Coincidentally, all the rooms I saw had the same smell of cigarettes.
So I gave up, thinking there was nothing I could do, and the next day I bought an air purifier at the mart, sprayed it in the room before going out, and somehow held out for a few days.
My baby and I both had sore throats that we had a hard time since coming to Korea. ㅠㅠ
My throat really hurt from the first night. ㅠ

AAnonymous UserMy stay here was fantastic. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it. The owner was incredibly kind. The room itself was clean, tidy, and perfectly decent. The surroundings were beautiful, and though we arrived late and left early and didn't get to fully explore, you could tell a lot of thought and care went into everything. Highly recommend staying here!

Firstly, as someone who worked in chain hotels for six years, I'm very particular about cleanliness. This trip, traveling with my child, I opted against a chain hotel (which I usually choose), fearing poor hygiene. But this place was surprisingly good! The views are fantastic, and my child was very comfortable. All the towels are disposable, and the quality is excellent, so there's no need to bring your own. Parking is also super convenient, and getting around with Didi (ride-sharing) was a breeze. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Dalian. I forgot to take photos though, so I can only use screenshots from a video.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very convenient location and is a great landing point. Zhongshan square is a very nice area with a lot of activities and easy subway and connecting bus stations.
The room itself, however, had very dirty walls (you can see if you zoom in) and had a terrible smell. The sheets on the bed were very clean. The bathroom was in dire need of being remodeled.
The staff were very friendly and nice and gave me great advice for things to do. I appreciated their help.

SSimpleConvincerI had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down.
I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind.
I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

HHLIdlenessThis is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).
